If you like Road Rash, check out Road Redemption instead. It's a much better game that updates the older game quite well - and doesn't screw it up at all. It also has co-op that is a blast to play.
I would say don't listen to everything game review sites say they can get things wrong for instance look at Pokemon mystery dungeon the critics were unkind to that but fans loved it I'm not saying the game will be great or anything but it might not be as bad as they make it out to be it also helps if you go into it not expecting that much but then again for me if a game can give me even a bit of fun then I am happy hell the game actually sounds fun just a bit repetitive but I'm a fan of the Dynasty warriors games so that doesn't really bother me it sounds like a fun little time killer

I watched Outsidexbox play through the first bit of Dying Reborn and it was absolutely insane. The random guy with the fish head, voice acting to rival Resident evil and puzzles that not only made no sense but also were artificially lengthed. The game was fun to watch to awful to play
Reviewers caring about a hack n slash. Sigh not surprised because they always button mash because they have no skill and suck at the genre. Played many and used to the low, mid or high range of combos in different ones. I mean Senran Kagura is kind of basic to mid range besides having damage to clothes which sure fan service but impressive for use of particles and animations daring to go that far besides just armour and minor clothing scratches like other games or no damage to players at all. Racing game players expect damage to cars others don't with scratches and blood (some tv shows will others don't) or other things on characters some go the extra mile and I'd say that's fair). Spiderman PS4 is about mid range combos by a Dev that has never made a beat em up/hack n slash and it was fairly done for their first time with combos/second open world (Sunset was better though. Resistance 2 was Spiderman Resistance 1&3 were Sunset in terms of fun and we followed the formula too much that it got boring, it didn't have what I wanted a mind a unique twist on things to keep me interested other than 2% of the game with the research missions or taskmaster challenges because they were the only fun things in the entire game for me the rest was generic) while a DMC, Bayonetta and others with tons of combo strings as the high range. I assume Drive Girls is the Senran Kagura/Valkyrie Drive mid range (no idea if same Devs but wouldn't be surprised if Tamsoft made it. Oh it is who made not surprising good devs). Most reviewers couldn't have cared about any Vita games anyway why would I expect any different. Most Japanese games of the AA range are too 'what is this' for them to handle than the audience that plays them having more strength and interest to get past the WTF stage that people have and just play it without a care because they bought a game and played it not went 'I don't get this or its weird' like a kid instead of being a reviewer. Drive Girls is a fine game. They are dressed fine also (is showing even skirt levels just in different attire apparently bad they aren't wearing a bunny girl outfit or shorter where I'd agree) what is with people and looking at anime girls certain ways (not counting otakus/weebs) they look like Transformers and covered up what is with people sigh. Is Anthropomorphic too much for some people as the audience got past it years ago with Neko (cat girls) and so on already because they are a character it suits the world and silliness these types of games go for it isn't meant to be taken seriously but the west needs everything serious and can't take that as an answer it seems while western fans just go 'ok sure, moving on doesn't bother us'. Others are just too stuck in the 'What' phase I assume because their head can't get too far into getting over things. The last one is yeah dull, functional and rough translation but too focused on one thing isn't much. Road Rage yeah vaguely remember that one but it isn't Road Rash in compelling I bet. Never played either but know of them. Troll and I to me is average but bad, hardly. I did pick it up cheap but I did want it years ago just didn't see it again until recently and I wasn't disappointed. It's a fine game to me. Took me a bit to get used to but I enjoyed what I have played of the first few hours. But I like AA games most have 'cough higher standards'. Sure it looks rough but is it functional yes, is it that deep well not early hours only I'mve played I can't say but would I be bored of it. No. Shovelware no way it much more so because it isn't painful to play a AA or A European game trying to make their way in gaming and the rest of the world has that heads to high for quality. Most 3/10 games of big budget I have fun with because get this they were big budget it's just reviewers got bored. Devils Third best Wii U shooter (not counting COD or ZombiU but then again there isn't many shooters on Wii U), it's a 2008 style game in 2015 but so what, it's an RE6 or Vanquish like shooter on Wii U why would I complain. Balan was a Rayman 3 suit game for me. Sure a bit rough and not the final vision but was it playable yes. Did I have fun yes. Just as much as any B grade platformer even if by AAA names I didn't care about any of that at all I cared about the gameplay and I got my gameplay not the stuff other people cared about being budget, big names, what they did in the past and all that. So what I couldn't care less. I got a platformer and a not the best Chao Garden but I never played Sonic adventure anyway so if it's similar of not much going on then fair enough it did its job then there I wouldn't know. Also if I compared Last of Us to Troll and I I'd prefer the latter because LOS was really eh who cares. One is a cinematic generic story but high budget, rough controls, fine ideas but made me want to play more no I was bored stiff I did not care for it. The other a sure lower budget and was a fine time for a co-op dynamic, sure rough graphics but I don't care, gameplay was fine enough to get me to play more than the first hour of LOS that's for sure. Yes I do enjoy lower budget like AA games or different games than most people because they have high expectations. No matter how simple if it's functional, has fine enough ideas and if able the graphics are strange then sure but I don't play for graphics or artstyle I play for gameplay what makes a game a game and not boring me with boring missions and tools if they are then why would I play a game no matter how high the budget if it's boring me at every turn.
Had Breath of the Wild on the Wii U as it was built for the console originally & its so overhyped; it honestly doesn't deserve all the accolades it's earned

The original was ported to the 8 bit Sega Master System. That port is far more impressive than the PS4 sequel. Especially considering the hardware.

Spiderman PS4 is about mid range combos by a Dev that has never made a beat em up/hack n slash and it was fairly done for their first time with combos/second open world (Sunset was better though. Resistance 2 was Spiderman Resistance 1&3 were Sunset in terms of fun and we followed the formula too much that it got boring, it didn't have what I wanted a mind a unique twist on things to keep me interested other than 2% of the game with the research missions or taskmaster challenges because they were the only fun things in the entire game for me the rest was generic) while a DMC, Bayonetta and others with tons of combo strings as the high range.
I assume Drive Girls is the Senran Kagura/Valkyrie Drive mid range (no idea if same Devs but wouldn't be surprised if Tamsoft made it. Oh it is who made not surprising good devs).
Most reviewers couldn't have cared about any Vita games anyway why would I expect any different. Most Japanese games of the AA range are too 'what is this' for them to handle than the audience that plays them having more strength and interest to get past the WTF stage that people have and just play it without a care because they bought a game and played it not went 'I don't get this or its weird' like a kid instead of being a reviewer.
Drive Girls is a fine game. They are dressed fine also (is showing even skirt levels just in different attire apparently bad they aren't wearing a bunny girl outfit or shorter where I'd agree) what is with people and looking at anime girls certain ways (not counting otakus/weebs) they look like Transformers and covered up what is with people sigh. Is Anthropomorphic too much for some people as the audience got past it years ago with Neko (cat girls) and so on already because they are a character it suits the world and silliness these types of games go for it isn't meant to be taken seriously but the west needs everything serious and can't take that as an answer it seems while western fans just go 'ok sure, moving on doesn't bother us'. Others are just too stuck in the 'What' phase I assume because their head can't get too far into getting over things.
The last one is yeah dull, functional and rough translation but too focused on one thing isn't much.
Road Rage yeah vaguely remember that one but it isn't Road Rash in compelling I bet. Never played either but know of them.
Troll and I to me is average but bad, hardly. I did pick it up cheap but I did want it years ago just didn't see it again until recently and I wasn't disappointed. It's a fine game to me. Took me a bit to get used to but I enjoyed what I have played of the first few hours. But I like AA games most have 'cough higher standards'. Sure it looks rough but is it functional yes, is it that deep well not early hours only I'mve played I can't say but would I be bored of it. No. Shovelware no way it much more so because it isn't painful to play a AA or A European game trying to make their way in gaming and the rest of the world has that heads to high for quality. Most 3/10 games of big budget I have fun with because get this they were big budget it's just reviewers got bored.
Devils Third best Wii U shooter (not counting COD or ZombiU but then again there isn't many shooters on Wii U), it's a 2008 style game in 2015 but so what, it's an RE6 or Vanquish like shooter on Wii U why would I complain. Balan was a Rayman 3 suit game for me. Sure a bit rough and not the final vision but was it playable yes. Did I have fun yes. Just as much as any B grade platformer even if by AAA names I didn't care about any of that at all I cared about the gameplay and I got my gameplay not the stuff other people cared about being budget, big names, what they did in the past and all that. So what I couldn't care less. I got a platformer and a not the best Chao Garden but I never played Sonic adventure anyway so if it's similar of not much going on then fair enough it did its job then there I wouldn't know.
Also if I compared Last of Us to Troll and I I'd prefer the latter because LOS was really eh who cares. One is a cinematic generic story but high budget, rough controls, fine ideas but made me want to play more no I was bored stiff I did not care for it. The other a sure lower budget and was a fine time for a co-op dynamic, sure rough graphics but I don't care, gameplay was fine enough to get me to play more than the first hour of LOS that's for sure.
Yes I do enjoy lower budget like AA games or different games than most people because they have high expectations. No matter how simple if it's functional, has fine enough ideas and if able the graphics are strange then sure but I don't play for graphics or artstyle I play for gameplay what makes a game a game and not boring me with boring missions and tools if they are then why would I play a game no matter how high the budget if it's boring me at every turn.
