It's been 7 years since the abomination that was chocobo romance simulator Final Fantasy XVIII, and gaming icon Yoko Taro was brought in to breath some life into the JRPG staple. His solution? An 80 hour cinematic event sprinkled with some light kart racing. Rather than the heroes and villains fighting, like in previous Dissidia games, Crystal Karts has FF icons like Cloud Strife, Terra and the Warrior of Light himself doing sick drifts against the likes of Garland, Kefka and Sephiroth. Critics noted that the kart racing was as standard as kart racing gets, with a handful of powerups and iconic Final Fantasy tracks. The only problem was the convoluted storyline featuring cutscenes, sometimes upwards of 20 minutes, between races that lasted a fraction of that time. The story also took itself way too seriously when the fate of the FF multiverse was being decided by three laps around the Golden Saucer."
Raven’s Cry is hilarious. They changed all the dialogue so sometimes voices abruptly change or the characters move their lips without any sound. It’s a glorious mess.

I'm surprised Overlord: Fellowship of Evil (2015) didn't get a mention here. All the previous entries in the series were excellent games. But when it came to the last entry. Released 6 years after the previous game. Even though I was looking foward to this. It was truly panned a terrible and dissapointing game in the series. Only getting very low review scores on all platforms (PC, PS4 & Xbox).
I remember one of the worst games of 2015 was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 which I even have too for PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 since I actually have the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 versions of THPS5. Even though the game itself is terrible and all, I actually kinda somewhat like it in a way, especially since it has that classic gameplay feel almost as the previous Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games although I really like the older games better including the remakes of THPS1 and THPS2 which I already have for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Personally , as a veteran Hardcore gamer with 15 years of Gaming History atleast... Its safe to say the Year 2015 released some of the Best games i've ever played atleast for Console Gaming. ( The Witcher 3 , Bloodborne , Dying Light , DS2 Scholar of the First Sin etc. ). Pretty awsome Year for Games no doubt. 💯

I have to really oppose the opposition towards Godzilla PS4; while it's far from a perfect game, it's far from awful. It's just... mediocre. I feel a lot of the hate simply comes down to critics having a predisposition against Godzilla, which has always and will always be true. It's a C-rate game, but because it's Godzilla, that alone bumps it down. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to stick with Save the Earth on my PS2, but Godzilla PS4 is still fun in short bursts.

So yeah it may suck, but to those critics and haters who decided to sell or get rid of their copies just lost out on making money. Project Root is not a bullet hell. Ikaruga's a bullet hell. CAVE games are bullet hells. Most of the Touhou games are bullet hells. Project Root has almost nothing in common with any of the above.

Surprisingly, Godzilla is very expensive these days. Around $400 for a factory sealed copy. Saw copies on eBay for even more than that.

I think the biggest tragedy is the fact that because of the failure of this game we never got the superior sequel. That's just a real shame.
