I remember once while travelling at Dubai airport on a Metro between terminals I saw a wallet lying on the floor of the coach and made the mistake of picking it up. As soon as i reached my stop I tried to hand it over to the terminal supervisor who said he cannot accept it and guided me to go to the security incharge who first saw me in suspicion then took all my details like mobile no, ticket details etc and also asked me if I had opened the wallet for which I said NO.
I almost missed my flight as this whole process took me around 30 min for being a good samaritan. Moral of the story, if u see a wallet in public place better to inform the nearby supervisor or security but never ever pick it up yourself 🙄

Accidentally he put his wallet on the bonnet exactly near the whiper. And he forget the wallet and get inside the car, while driving wallet felldown on that busy road.

Wallets do fall off while riding a motorcycle, and that's pretty much not so difficult to visualize.

Oh yeah one of my friend was drunk untill late n he slept on metro it was last route to Jebel Ali n he was supposed to go out in battuta n took bus to DIP2 then the metro stuff ask him to go out since it last route n he had no money so he go out n wonder while he was soooo drunk....so he try to walk back but he get lost on middle of road he call Dubai police for help around 2:30Am so they pick him up n drop him in our apartment...we were shocked since he was so drunk ...but still they help him n they tip him 50dirhams...if that is my country they will slap u first n through u in Cell..amazing Uae police with kind heart.Wish I was born here
For publicity Dubai police was very best in the world sir but actually the UAE police system was very worst towards poor people. My employer gave me final settlement cheques of 66000 Dirhams and not honoured, i was approached Police through lawyer and they failed to take action against employer. Myself came to India with empty pockets and tears in my eyes.

Maybe he pulled his wallet out to pay the high way toll, after paying the toll he drove off and he has both hands on steering wheel and is trying to put the toll card back into the card holder. he fumbled it and the wallet went out the window.

Yes once I ran out of fuel but I managed to pull it off on the side. Police arrived and helped to push it to the nearest parking spot safely and offered to refuel but I had already called the roadside assistance..

I got help of my motorcycle plate was fallen I noticed and when I stoped it’s in middle of road I can’t get it possibly with out dubai police help they arrived and stoped massive traffic in one of the busiest road in dubai name called sheikh zayed road and I got my number plate from the middle of the road thanks to dubai police to take care of our life ... thanks to the highness

My surprise in my country was,
My wallet fall away from Bike,
Later i realise, it was not with me,
So i turn back and thread my pathway again.
So that i can know where it was drop.
Soon i spotted the location,
I saw there is a guy picking up my wallet ifront of me and start running,
I Chase him but i couldn't, end of the day RIP to my wallet and my money inside it.

Yes I would like to share one incident which happened to my friend recently where he was penalized Aed 500 for Parking his car in his parking slot and the reason given by the officer was that you have to pay it bcoz we are charging you for it. Am sure most of the expats who live in Dubai fine through this harassment of parking fines at some point and they are afraid to even ask them anything. If you are boasting about your rules then do something about it as well.
