I am not going to buy that vacuum, but I am confused about what you are calling lazy, the pickup arm or the robotic vacuum itself? If you are saying it’s the arm, then why not the automated vacuum? You mentioned about people being too lazy to go pick something up, but that is only true if you are supervising the vacuum. Robotic vacuum allows people to save time by having the robot do the menial chore for you, especially while you are away. I can see the robotic arm being useful if you forgot to pick something up and it’s running it’s actions while you are away or, if it bumps into something causing an object to roll onto the floor, and this ignore the items that are left behind by kids or pets.
@@craigneidel. That’s fair, but you weren’t discussing that it’s subjectively bad value, just that it was a sign of how “lazy” people are. If I want ‘big screen’, there’s projectors that can (cleverly) do 4k for around £100… …I own one, and a 100” screen that disappears. Just add an M4 Mini for a Networked Plex ‘Smarter’ TV. And the fact, that the Dock + upper bar takes up more space and doesn't work as stupid windows taskbar like from 90s is just hilarious and sad.
None of your rant makes much sense. The dock and menu bar don’t need to work like you say, and what does this have to do with the windows taskbar from the 90s? Which version of windows even?

I would be interested in a foldable iPhone. But my daughter’s foldable new Samsung broke only a few months ago, even though she did not abuse it
Yes, I would not get one as there is no reason for it and they do break easily. At least I would wait for a few models before trusting them.
Funny, maybe. $1500 to $2,000... I would rather vacuum myself.
@@craigneidel. That’s fair, but you weren’t discussing that it’s subjectively bad value, just that it was a sign of how “lazy” people are.
Money can buy happiness when it is exchanged for goods and services that provide positive experiences or add convenience that reduces stress. I am sure you spend a fair bit of money for your own convenience, we all do.

the notch is not an issue; I don't care
I learned to forget about it.
@@craigneidel better the notch than wasting 7 mm or whatever of my screen on a black empty space at the top to have the camera but no notch
Trust me you will forget about it quickly.
I think I‘ll get the Macbook Air M6 and maybe a new iPhone in 2026. Then a new iPad Air in 2027 and a Mac mini M9. That’s my schedule for the upcoming years. 🙂
Not a bad schedule for sure.
I’d pay 2k for a 32” monitor that ticked every box…
…for example: perfect display for colour editing.
Connectivity = T5
HDMI 2.1
OLED
Can be used for everything I do requiring a screen, including a TV…
…but I don’t like ‘smart’ TVs, hence why I would drop 2k on a ‘monitor’ that renders a 55” ‘Expensive Spy-Eye-Ear’ redundant.
If I want ‘big screen’, there’s projectors that can (cleverly) do 4k for around £100…
…I own one, and a 100” screen that disappears.
Just add an M4 Mini for a Networked Plex ‘Smarter’ TV.
TVs I have recently found are NOT cheap & NOT clever.
@@BeardLAD I think you're about 10% of the population that would plop down 2,000 bucks for a monitor. But at the end of the day I understand some people will use them and love them. And that's fine. I just don't see it changing the needle as far as sales for Apple, but I do think many people would love to have the option.

Great question Craig re: never ending security breaches, why are there no repercussions for the companies from the federal government of FTC for example. Seldom hear about lawuits.
Re Coke vs Pepsi, fortunately I do not like diet soda, when I do endulge in Soda love the Coke from Mexico. Pepsi with cane sugar also good. Have a Sodastream and have gotten Real Sugar Cola Syrup - Small-Batch Craft Soda from Oak Cliff Beverage Works that is very good. Also use the Sodastream with fruit concentrate that is good.
@@hms350 I think the government gets paid off but who knows. Cole from Mexico is good for sure. I'll need to try the soda stream one day but trying to cut down to like 1 every 2 days and then even more over time. But it is so good. Thanks for your post.
Responding to the rumor that MacBook Pro's will get thinner. I push my M1 Max to the limit of its capacity. I build 3D Architecture and Factory production models and I am always screaming for more performance not thinness. M2-3 not enough performance. M4? Performance not thinness... IMHO
I agree, I'm not saying I want a thin laptop but just reporting what might happen. I think it's fine the way it is.
@@craigneidel That message is for Apple. Just emphasizing that users are not screaming for more thinness. Al least with our laptops... LOL. love you content.

I don't hate the notch per say, even though it's just stupid in this day and age, but I hate that we need to have the menu there all the time to make sense for the space, like it's the 90s.
You can remove some of that stuff in the settings. None of that stuff really bothers me as I'm usually just working on the computer and don't pay attention. MX are great for work.
Dell can call them whatever they want, it still will be Windows 11 machine.

The supposedly ultra-thin iPhone 17 "Air" is stupid. A decade ago, I was working in China (2013-15), and Oppo had a 5.0mm thin 5.5 in. long phone with a rotatable camera module at the top. Flimsy and fragile. Count me skeptical that Apple's version will succeed. Something is wrong with you if you believe there's any "need" for a phone thinner than 8mm or so. Ditto flip phones, whose displays will always be compromised.
I'm not saying that I want a phone that thin and I'm just reporting the news.
