On 1.12, the difference between Racing Hard and Sport Soft were 5 and 6 for 3rd gear! Sport Soft do not require pitting and it feels to me like they are balanced for the whole race. Rather than skating around for a couple or few laps like the RH.

I got it to 596.33 PP still with Racing Hard tires. Tbh, you don't need to follow anyone's specific instructions (apart from gear ratios) as various methods have resulted in slightly different points and even when you follow a guide exactly, you can still end up with the error triangle as your PP. Just tamper and tamper away on the suspension. That's what worked for me!
Thanks for the tune, great work. You can still do it without any pit stops. Fuel map 3, 7th gear everywhere except the hairpin (6) and just ignore the tyre wear. They’ll squeal a lot and you might get the odd twitch but just keep going and you can still cruise round in under 19 minutes.
Dont use intermediate tires, switch to sport soft, then u can go all 12 laps without pitstop. Also use the fully adjustable diff And reduce fuel consumption to lean 5 or 6 You're welcome

Yes keep it in 7 gear, but there are two other things I found useful. I can use the water puddles to help the ware on the tires to only need to change them once on lap 8. Plus leaning the fuel to 6 makes it so you don’t need to fuel, but I need to tweak it because I had a lot of fuel left over after the race.
After a day of tweaking the fuel I think the best is to run 1 until the just before the first break zone then switch to 4 until the after the hair pin then back to 1!
I always put the fuel map on 6 from before I even take control of the car at the beginning of the race and I never have to use full power of the car to pull away and end up finishing 3 laps ahead. It’s a shame there will be stops needed now to replace those intermediate tyres burning out.

Hello, you can still use your old settings with output adjustment and power restrictor both at 100. Just set the ballast on 1kg and the positioning on -14. Only downfall is the fuel consumption so you’ll have to pit once.
Use manual gears. Keep it in 7th except for series of bends use 5th and hairpin 5th and keep it in lean mode for first 6 laps. Then use power for rest of race. Gets you round in 18 min.
@@SkullBustersI suspect that was the cause. I ran an opening lap of 1:4x and most subsequent laps were moderate, in the 1:2x's, with sufficient grip left at the end to continue to run low-mid 1:30's. Looks to me like two pitstops cost almost 60-seconds, it appears that can only be made up for by running hard to knock out mid-teen lap times. Thanks for all your work. Much appreciated.
Ok just followed step by step and the car didn’t register the pp as seen. I added -1 ballast position 23 ballast works like a charm. Don’t for get everyone to hit like subscribe and turn on notifications. He definitely helps and has legit videos
I always did this method and never had to use the pit stop ever the tires would just stay a little red at the top never go crazy to the bottom like yours did and I would always end with 25 ish fuel.
The dream is alive! I was wondering why it seemed "fixed" but this method was still mentioned as a known issue in a different post. got to lap 6 while pushing and managed to do it in 1 lap, been trying to get a hard tired set up, keep getting just over at 600.40 and 600.15. getting there!

@@SkullBusters I do not remember. I used to go to the pits to change tires every 4 laps. The last 10 minutes, on lap 23, I was at the finish line waiting for the time to run out. I managed to finish the race with one lap ahead.
Honestly, just keep the hard tires, TC set to 6, fuel all the way to lean, auto transmission, then just tried to keep awake because it's just a standard 1 stop race. You'll slide around a bit in the first 2 laps, but with TC set to 6, you have no trouble keeping the car straight. Just keep the car above 4th gear, the faster you go, the more grip the tomahawk will have, so rain doesn't really affect it unless you doing less then 100mph, plus you'll save time by putting only once.
With some minor readjustments to the setup, I was able to raise the power up to 2,370 and still be under the 600 PP radar. The first change I made was I stiffened the springs to a ratio of 6.40, then tuned both the front and rear diff to be completely open.
Works incredibly well as is. Even somewhat better and safer, because of the racing intermediates being able to tackle the rain much better earlier on. I just drop the hammer early in 1st lap, get some distance between me and them, keep my speed manageable but work the tires enough (I don`t have the reflex to drive this thing flat out anyway), Fuel Control at 6, and pit around 5th lap only changing tires, get a few more laps like a bat out of hell, and then ease up to reduce tire wear, playing it safe. For me, that's a 25 minutes 12 laps, but it allows me to race with less stress and anxiety, and get my money. Mostly what I want from Gran Turismo is to collect cars, tunes them, try them, and livery the fuck out of them. So racing competitively is not really a good option for me. This set up is perfect.
Update: do exactly what @echo4ninteen said but during the race leave it in 7th gear the whole time. I didn't push hard, didn't brake hard, let off the gas in the curves and I was turning high 1:20s and low 1:30s when I had to pass cars and my tires made it all the way to the end without crashing. Rears we're all red, there was a sliver of white on the left front and about a 1/4 of white left on the right front but they made it

The overall car settings sure may have changed, but I can still pull off 17min total time on 12 laps compared to the previous car settings prior to the patch 1.13 release. The difference is the increased speed and tire grip on sports soft tires, and also the increased tire wear and fuel consumption (which I have to pit in once, which isn't the case on the previous car settings).

You can try Sardegna on sports soft or hard tires.. that's a dry race that takes a min maybe two mins longer. The payout is 100k less but you still make 750ish thousand and it is a different race at least!
I'd recommend to set the brake balance all the way to the front, and keep the fuel map on 4 and short shift 25%. When driving, always find wet patches, especially at high speeds, it keeps it stable. Besides that, good work
Stay on the wet and actively find the moist part of road it preserves life of the IM tires its completely different driving line but useful for other races too
I had a 1600 HP build and was able to get a 15:09 with 3 penalties. I wanted to get under 15 minutes so bad lol thanks for the new set up and keep us updated.

Keep everything as it was. The only change I did was intermediate tires, ballast set to 25lbs and -25. 577 pp and works like a charm.

Keep it in 7th gear the entire time. You'll barely use fuel and you won't smoke out the rear tires causing wear on them.

Add 3 to ballast and you can use racing hard tyres, run fuel map 2 and now it’s a no stop race.
Mine was weird 3 balast gave me the infamous “!” So I kept raising it one by one each number gave me a random PP until I got a good one, ended at 25

Very true! I Saw my lap times dropping with at least 6 seconds. Versus 1 pit of around 18 sec’s, it’s a nice timesaver.

You don’t have to pit at all, on high speed there is ton of grip. On last lap my tires are completely dead but I didn’t notice grip loss
I was going flat out so that maybe why
Just the hairpin at the end is different with dead tires but everything else works fine

This is great setup for me. 16 min and 23 seconds for 12 laps and 1 pitstop.

You can use sports soft tyres with this setup as well. The tyres don't go off as fast as intermediates and the speed is basically the same

You can try Sardegna on sports soft or hard tires.. that's a dry race that takes a min maybe two mins longer. The payout is 100k less but you still make 750ish thousand and it is a different race at least!

I'd recommend to set the brake balance all the way to the front, and keep the fuel map on 4 and short shift 25%. When driving, always find wet patches, especially at high speeds, it keeps it stable. Besides that, good work
What is the benefit of different brake balance?
Sharper braking into corners, but depends on the car itself
@@maikbottcher795 also protects the rear tires a bit under braking, since more pressure is put on the fronts
Stay on the wet and actively find the moist part of road it preserves life of the IM tires its completely different driving line but useful for other races too

@@ashhawk2346 and with the 10 second penalty it's going to add around 11-12 seconds so without that you was averaging around a 1:09
