@SkullBuster your Toyota GR10 hybrid '21 Tune for this mission is the best for me as I only have the third best car u suggested "Peugeot L750r". GR10 gave me managed best lap 1:36:67 & 24:58 Total on hard settings, 1 pit stop, RH tyres, Power 1!
The latest Toyota, fuel map 4 short shift at a quarter use all gears and change at the same point. 1.36 laps. Brake balance 5 to the rear, no pit stop, lap everyone plus. Total time between 24 .10 and 24. 20
Just used the new toyota gr1 fuel on 2 and changed gear at 7k revs and would easily do 14 laps but went into the pits on the 10th. Getting around a 1.34 to 1.38 lap time and under 25 mins. Handles really well
Great guide. Will be trying the LM 55 set up later. I used it for the Suzuka gr.1 race that every man and his dog struggled with. (I did too until I got this car) straight out of the box, intermediates for the wet portion then, one stop for fuel and tyre change and stayed out on inters till the end. It was that easy, I lapped half the field and won by a good margin. If I can work out how, I will post ss of the result for the doubters 😜
I uses the 2008 Super GT car SC430 from Lexus to grind this. Won the race by putting on hard compound, lean fuel to 6, staying out until everyone one pitted, and finally pit in for fuel and charge for the win. This video does helps a lot. 😄
I'm using that Lexus for this grind too. I love it, so easy to handle and lots of fun. I use it with racing mediums and fuel map 2 for the first lap then switch to map 1 to the finish, pitting for tyres and 90% fuel at the end of lap 8. I'm getting laps of 1:38 - 1:40 with race times of 26 minutes. By the end of lap 3 I'm in P1 and by lap 12 I've lapped every other car in the race. It's definitely my go to car for this grind and it's a great looking car too. I just put a sweet Batman livery on mine.
Bugatti VGT for me. Just lower the power and add a bit of balast. With 1 pitstop after 8th lap and fuel map at 3 for the whole race. Best lap I've had was at 1:38s and the race takes about 25-26mins
Finally, a grinding track thats fun to race and easy to win. Using the mazda. half the first lap with fuel a little lean, then up to full burn and pit after 8 laps , refuel then full burn all the way for the seven laps to the finish. easy wins every time. I had wasted so much time and credits trying to beat le mans, but the rain on that track makes it a miserable experience at the best of times. The Toyota GR010 Hybrid is the best car i've used so far for this, although it does cost 3 million. I can get into the mid 1:33's with a really good lap. Consistently in the 1:34's. I might buy the Mazda/Hyundai VGT''s to see if i can better a 1:33.
Another great car for this track is the Lexus SC430 GT500 '08 it has great fuel efficiency raced it as stock and got 8 laps on medium race tyres lapping at around 1.40 to 1.42 and I'm very new to GT7 and not a great driver at all, just need to drop the fuel mapping to 2 for 1 or 2 laps on the first stint, then back to 1 for the rest of the race. Comes in around 788pp and no need for doing any setup, I usually win by around 48 to 50 seconds.
Nice setups mate, used the Mazda as you had it and thoroughly enjoyed the race. Sure there’s loads of options and ways you can probably get away with no stops, but honestly I’d rather belt it around in map two for most of the race and do a single stop. That extra few seconds the stop adds on isn’t good kill anyone or ruin your chances of losing the race! Nor is it anything in comparison to the over 100 hours of grinding the Tomahawk glitch already to get all new cars, all used cars to date, and a lot of the legends I’m bothered about and still have 90 million spare. The game is now thoroughly enjoyable now it’s opened up.
Detune the Mazda LM55 VGT (Gr.1) and it handles like a dream, still has enough power to rule, only one pit for gas, no tires and took first place lapping all cars but 1.
Try mustang gr3, fully modded. 783hp 2866lb. Only strat is fuel trim 6. Lap times are 1:42+ with hard racing tires. Even at first pit stop you are so far ahead the viper doesn’t pass you. By the time you finish 15 laps you will be overtaking 3rd place car.
Thanks for the tips as always and the tune. You say you're not a great driver but you definitely do very well & you help a lot of people so thanks again for all your great tips my friend!
idk where i heard it but i heard the brz gt500 was good for the track and i get a total race time of about 26:30- 26:50 and can be done with 2 stops on fuel 6, just wondering if its worth changing to the gtr,lm55, escudo or just go straight for the toyota
Try the Tomahawk S VGT road car, that's what I use. Won't be as quick as the LM55 but it'll 1 stop on FM1 and I lap mostly in the low-mid 1.39's, a better driver could probably push the 1.38's. Even though the LM55 is slightly faster, I mostly use the S VGT to grind Sardegna or Spa as a tribute to it's now dead big brother, the X.
Frankly, you do not need any of those cars to make this race twice per hour. I use GT-R Gr2 and my times are pretty much the same, and i use 1 pit stop around 10-11th lap. Usually the race takes about 26-27min in general, unless you going for those 2 minutes extra faster track then yeah. I would recommend doing 24h Le Mans race, as its 30min and rewards 825k, so you get roughly 100k more for 3 to 6 extra minutes (depending how fast Sardegna is being finished).
Group 2 cars are definitely one of my favorites. I especially like the NSX Concept & The GTR... they don't seem quite as fast in GT7 as they were in Sport but I do like running the LeMans 30 min & wish they'd add a LeMans 24 hr similar to the Spa endurance race
@Thagias yeah as long as you use Gr3 upgraded, Gr2 or Gr1, you’ll be fine, this video was for those who wanna max out their earning potential. If you did both races for 5 hours (earliest common finish time) then there’s still only 500,000 between them

Don't bother if you're A+, or even mid to high A. I can see how it would 'feel' easier to drive for less experienced drivers as it's simply slower and hence you can brake later & be less accurate with your throttle control, but there's no way it compares in raw speed and laptimes compared to "The World's Most Okay Player's" set-up you showed last video. Even in the best hands you'd be 1 - 2 minutes slower. I'll stick to 24 minutes or less total race time with 1:33 - 34 laps. My 1st lap is in the 1:37's...
I bought the Mazda (ur No 1 choice). Thanks! What were the gearing ratios, and the differential settings? As standard, the gearing maxes out for a top speed of 350, so I figured you've changed the gearing somewhat. Cheers from Australia :-)

I’m all about trying new cars however so defo pick up the cars you’ve listed 👍🏻 Just tried out the Mazda LM55 it handles super smooth and it’s brakes are phenomenal, however I did find it slow in comparison to most others. I must admit I prefer speed over comfort as it’s more thrilling. Any suggestions on tuning to push up that acceleration and top end?
Anybody try the Porsche 919? Does that work for this race? Seems like the key is to pit once (is it even possible to not pit at all? I’m guessing tires would be the lImiting factor).
Btw, since 1.20 I can run this car on a one stop in 25.33 .... you could prolly do it better on a controller. I think it should, we’re heavy limiting the power here so it should storm the Gr1 race!
Nice to know someone local is listening mate 😂

Power restrictor is blacked out on the LM55 VGT Gr.1. I can't adjust it from 100 to 79. :(
buy from tuning shop
I just use the GR010, I can lap 1:34s and I’m able to finish is in under 25 mins
Best lap 1.33.9, total time 24.31 😎
@@SlimKim1979 my best was a 1.32.4 with a total time of 24.03

What time did you get?
Nice info mate thank you. My best lap for Sardegna is 1.35 with Toyota GR010 Hybrid 21, you can also finish the race in 25 if your relatively good and consistent. I’m all about trying new cars however so defo pick up the cars you’ve listed 👍🏻
Just tried out the Mazda LM55 it handles super smooth and it’s brakes are phenomenal, however I did find it slow in comparison to most others. I must admit I prefer speed over comfort as it’s more thrilling. Any suggestions on tuning to push up that acceleration and top end?
I’ll do a comparison to the GR010 shortly, I’ve been doing a lot of tuning so might be able to squeeze a bit more power out of it 👌🏻
Subaru brz GT3, 1;38"500 with Map power 5
You can do easy 34s with the new Toyota Hypercar.
Just now i did a 1:33.777
Anybody try the Porsche 919? Does that work for this race? Seems like the key is to pit once (is it even possible to not pit at all? I’m guessing tires would be the lImiting factor).
Hard tyres can last the race, it’s down to fuel, think the 787B could do it
How long does car 1 last for gas on 6 lean?
Gr 010
Driving 1.35 min a round consistently
Put it on 2 and pit only at wave 8 9 or 10
This and the CLK GTR are the last cars I wanted to test
Just ....thank you ....
No problem dude 😉👍🏻
@@SkullBusters 1m38 986 in race - slightly lower on Time trial - what an awesome set up - Ill be lowering that acceleration sensitivity tomorrow :-)
Btw, since 1.20 I can run this car on a one stop in 25.33 .... you could prolly do it better on a controller. Better than spending 8mil if you have an LM55, btw which in my setup is currently back to 800pp exactly, and for the first time, I'm running TCS 0. FYI Im still using my GT29 and using one foot.... surely you can do better than me
I just use the 787B, hard tyres, drop the power to get to 799pp. One stop, job done.
That’s why she’s number 3 😉
@@SkullBusters it’s not a bad race to grind as it’s a pretty fun one. I’ll have to give some of the other cars on the list a whirl to mix things up a bit.
I use the 787b and never need to pit. Map 2-3 and short shifting and u can do the whole thing in one go 👍👍
Yeah I thought that whilst testing it!
@@SkullBusters ive just done it in 25mins, i forgot to say in the straight i put my mix to 6 to save some more
I use the Viper GR3 it is pretty good
How did you get suspension on the Hyundai vgt?
Should be on it by default?
@@SkullBusters It wasn’t on the car nor could I buy it. I’ll just use the 787 tune you got
LM 55 requires no stop, just use hard tyres, start pwr lelv 5 and last 2 laps you got pwr lvl 1, more than one minute ahead of nr 2, about 730K credits for 26mins
LM55 or LM55 Gr1?
@@SkullBusters Kudos for hitting 1:37, not there yet, its the LM55 not Gr.1 with different tune up
actually starting to become a big fan of the 962 '88 Porsche, regularly do 3x Sardegna LM55/962/787 and can't decide...braking is long on 787 though

What is the best car to use now for Tokyo Expressway?
We’ll be covering this in a new video 😉👍🏻
Lexus sc430 1.35 best lap no refuel RH tires
I've found the Toyota ts030 to be quite easy and fast here
I don't get the difference between the Mazda LM55 VGT and the LM55 VGT (Gr.1)
Is there a major difference?
I don't know which to buy
The Gr.1 version could get better regulated because of the less PP.
I’m not 100% on what the difference is apart from the PP
hello there, I'll tried out LM55 to run this race, how is your Fuel setting?
Fuel setting 1, gets you just about to halfway
How do you see all your track times? The screen you show at the end!!
That was on the time trials for the track, not the race
I use the 787b. My best lap is around 136.5.
It’s still up there, after all these years!
use the MB AMG GT-LM
Good pick
Dbr9 1:36
So i bought tge hyundai but i cant change or buy the suspension 😅
You should be able to in the stock version of the car?
My 787- 700 pp le mans setup is awesome
How do you unlock this track
I keep seeing people talk about fuel map.. I'm totally clueless can someone please help me find this setting .
It’s in the settings with the radar, TCS, brake balance etc. Whilst you’re racing, press left and right on the direction buttons to change the setting, then on the green one (fuel), toggle it from (power) 1 to 5 (efficient)
I used the G3 Ferrari, the Aston, and the Viper to win this race.
I can do 24 min flat with hybrid gr010
Have you got a setup so I can compare to my laps?
@@SkullBusters yes I do, it does consistent 1:35
Best car is absolutely the GR010 Toyota. Consistent 1:35 easy
That’s one of the two I wanted to test but didn’t have the money, the other being the CLK-GTR LM
Toyota GR010 Hybrid '21
Fuel direct on 6 and you need not 1 pitstop. just drive and chill... you will be 1st in the 4. Lap and in the end you surpassed the 10th & 9th place twice ;)
1:38 - 1:41 times are usually.
You don’t have a pit stop?
@@SkullBusters no. not a single one
🔥🔥🔥
@@SkullBusters simply take off the gas on the long straight 100 - 150m before the braking point saves a lot of fuel! you don't have to hold the 270km/h forever and then have to drop the anchor ^^
My 787 easily does this in under 25 mins, and capable of under 1.35 laps with 1 stop. 190mph top speed 553 bhp @ 938kg.
Also play on hard mode so you only need to lap the pack once and so giving more clear track laps.
I only play on hard difficulty, have tried going for a 0 stop with the 787B?
@@SkullBusters no, I like to run it fast as possible with a 1 stop on different cars and see which is fastest, it's the only thing that keeps me relatively sane grinding credits.
787 is my fastest so far with a 1.35.2 but wasn't perfect lap. I've not tried the mazda vgt you mentioned so will take a look at it.
The game froze on me 2 times in a row last night running this race. It froze on lap 11 and then I forced closed the game, launched the game again, and started another race, and it froze on lap 4. I gave up and went to bed. Wasted more than 20 minutes for no credits thanks to 2 freezes.
That’s very strange 🤔😖
@@SkullBusters Yeah it happened once with the Tomahawk on Tokyo about a month ago. Weird it happened 2 times in a row last night.
lexus vgt (2pit stops) and one of the 2 slower tomahawks (one stop) works well too. same or similar turning methods. if you break early and let go early while not turning, you can save alot of tire btw.
Hi mate, tried this and it wouldn't go below the 800pp mark, is there something I'm doing wrong?
These aren’t working anymore, they changed the PP calculations around 😢
@@SkullBusters It's OK, I figured a way to use your set up. The car was hugging the road like a bear. Exceptional setup 👌🏽
Hello! Is the LM55 standard version or Gr1 version?
Gr1
@@SkullBusters Thanks for the quick reply!
I cant change the settings of the car... anyone can help?
Which car?
Hyundai n 2025 vgt...why?
Hmm you should be able to change the settings in that without any tuning parts, not sure what’s going on there 🤔 you’ll still need to buy the Power Restrictor and Ballast though.
Thank you i fix it!
Toyota gr010 can be tuned to 800pp
Yeah that’s one of the two I didn’t have that I wanted to test and also its already on channel
Clk-lm Mercedes is better with first lap can be 7 or 9 position
That’s one of the last ones I want to test but I haven’t got it yet! Waiting for the legends store to bring it back!
What lap time m8, that car I missed 1st time round in store?
I still prefer Le Mans. No rain and it's 31 mins or less, some rain and it's a few seconds over 30mins.
The rain does my head in, if it was more predictable or slower to affect the track, I wouldn’t mind so much. To be fair though, there isn’t much between them!
How does rain make it faster?
