I love the 2000's intro to Days of Our Lives. The slowly rising sun/light, coupled with the gorgeous twinkle-like music, the camera pulling back to reveal the hourglass... iconic. The only Daytime intro that rivals my love for it would be General Hospital's "Faces of the Heart" intro that lasted eleven years (1993-2004).
Grandma glued to the TV from 11:00 to 12:00 watching young and the restless as she chained smoked Virginia slims. I'd give anything to go back for just 1 day.

But the best for me is.. from a Mexican soap opera from 1993 called Corazon Salvaje. The non singing version. Look it up under Corazon Salvaje 93 - Entrada Instrumental, you will love it. The story and acting of the two main characters is also amazing.
I would replace the AW choice with the 75-81 classic theme, and the 81-87 theme, and the GH choice with the classic Ambulance racing to the hospital and Autumn Breeze!

It makes me think that I'm at home on a weekday afternoon, probably during spring, winter or summer vacation. I thought this song would have an "ending," but my mother told me that "it keeps on cycling."
Original AMC and DOOL themes were really pretty. Also like the late 70s version of The Edge of Night theme. Very moody and Film Noir like, fit the show perfectly.

Rue portrayed Caroline Johnson; the cook for Patricia and John Randolph as the nanny to their infant twins Marian and Michael Randolph. Rue described Caroline in her 2007 autobiography "My First Five Husbands... and the Ones who Got Away" as "The best nanny in all Christendom; and one Hell of a great cook to boot."

Multiple themes from General Hospital(who just tweaked its composition),All My Children, Another World, One Life to Live, and Guiding Light as if they couldn't find a theme and stick to it General Hospital's contribution was also an updated version of their iconic theme, but the original theme was higher up on the list, but the in-between version was higher. Young and the Restless theme was known as something else before it was known as Young and the Restless. Another World's theme song was on the charts.
What i liked was the complier had an All My Children promo before revealing the #! theme in this video - and the promo featured Michael Nader (may he RIP) - also portrayed the original Dynasty's dashing Dex Dexter and in the late 1970's Kevin Thompson on As the World Turns.
This is a gyp where is LOVING!!!?? I loved that theme song since I was a kid. Someone else has to remember the LOVING theme song... Some of these shouldn't have even been on the list. Channel 6 (AMC, OLTL, and GH) all deserve to be here 👏
I forgot the Passions theme song had a second version. I think that version was more close to the 'release' version. I also love the first version and the closing theme.

The late 90s Another World theme was really good. Had the look and sound of a primetime opening theme.

The original B&B theme song used from 1987 to 1995 puts all these soaps to rest. It was by far the best Soap theme ever!
I preferred the 1995-2000 theme. It sounded a lot better when they transitioned it to 41 seconds.
