Ninja Kitchen makes a lot of products, and a lot of them can do really similar things, but just because a machine can do something, doesn't mean it does it the best. The Ninja Sizzle GR101 is a dedicated grill/griddle combination, and the Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill does those things and more... but does it griddle better than the sizzle?

1:40 THANK YOU for showing how you got that lid off! I had been trying for half the day today to get the lid off on mine and couldn't get it to budge! There were no instructions in the little pamphlet and none of the other videos actually showed how they got the lid off! Yours did! Thanks! 😊
Glad to be of service, Molly. Actually, I king of figured that out on accident. ha!
I find that most indoor grills are not Smokeless, but Smoke Less than if fat/oil was falling on the elements. I have a Ninja Sizzle. The Griddle is flat, but the Grill is angled to promote fat/oil into the drip tray area.
Yep.. Agreed.
I have one (Ninja). For best results, slice down thick cuts. It really struggles to cook through if it's not a thinner slice. Other than that it's good.
🤔Chef Joe, I don't know why Ninja didn't design the Sizzle with one plate with the flat plate & griddle flip-able ( 🤑 Cost and space saver )
That's a pretty fantastic idea.
The sizzle puts in work but if you cook thinner meats you'll have to use a higher temp to get the grill marks and not over cook, which will also cause more smoke. I do like being able to grill around 2 lbs of meat at once though. I've grilled 3.5 lbs of chicken tenderloins in around 25 minutes. It's pretty uniform with the temp too
Nice. Great info, thanks!
Does anyone know if I can buy the griddle for the sizzle? I bought the sizzle but it only came with the grill and no griddle.
They have a gr100 and a 101. The 101 comes with the griddle, so it should be on the Ninja accessory website under stuff for the 101.
Because it’s work with electricity Do you have an idea how much is the electricity bill in a month after using this Ninja device?
It depends how often it gets used, for how long, and especially what you pay for power where you are. To figure it out take the wattage, convert to kw, and then you know how much power it used in an hour.. Then you can look at yiur power will and see what you pay. For example, 1200 watts would be 1.2kw used in 1 hour. At my house, we go through 3000 kw per month on average, but we use a lot of power.
I’d suggest sound baffling in the new studio.. or more of it and bring the boom mic down just out of shot.
I actually use a wireless lav. Was gonna do the boom, but I move around too much for it to be practical. In the studio, I'm making a bunch of acoustic panels for the walls and ceiling though. Also, my audio iant quite right now, since all my Adobe settings are from my last house, and this one place has terrible echo in the kitchen, so I've just been trying to hurry get then the studio ready.
@@JoesPhenomenal i know what you mean. I just finished a studio space for recording I use an NTG mic from Rode. It’s worked very well, especially shots like this one. I built baffling panels that I mounted to the wall. You can also put down rugs or hang rugs. It’s cheap and cheerful. If you’re using DaVinci Resolve, the sound isolation is extremely good. 👍
Good stuff!
Would the sizzle grill be good for a food trailer
Yes for personal use I think... If you need volume, maybe not... It's not super big.
😁
Because I already have a ninja speed, I’m sure now the sizzle is best for me.
That always seems to be the case...LOL. That Speedi is a nice machine though. Been meaning to get one.
