- Why I moved to Windsor from Toronto?
I have moved to Windsor from Toronto, because, Windsor is peaceful for living & roaming around with warmer weather and beautiful natural views. It’s less busy & living cost is cheaper than Toronto.
Population in Toronto is more than 3 mio whereas in Windsor population is only 400k. Less traffic ensures passing quality time with family as it saves time. Here we have many open & free parks including beach & wonderful harbors.
People are living here peacefully and it’s just by the bank of Detroit river which is just opposite of Michigan city of USA. We can see beautiful sunrise & sunset by the lake while walking on the walkway.
However, I am just a sharing my own experience. Opinion differs from people to people based on situation & prospects.

ভাই মিশিগান আমেরিকার একটা স্টেট, আর ওই পাশে যে সিটি দেখাচ্ছেন ওটা ডিট্রয়েট সিটি।
আমার এক মেয়ে উইন্ডসরে থাকে বড় মেয়ে ডিট্রয়েটে। আমি রেগুলার যাওয়া আসা করি দু'দেশেই। উইন্ডসর থাকার জন্য চমতকার।
আগামী মাসে এই শহর ফুলে ফলে ভরে যাবে অপূর্ব।
এই নদীর মাথায়ই লেক মিশিগান।

আসসালামু আলাইকুম। ভাইয়া আমি খুব শীঘ্রই ইনশাআল্লাহ কানাডা যেতে চাচ্ছি। এক্ষেত্রে নারীদের হিজাব পড়াতে ইমিগ্রেশনে বা কানাডাতে কোন প্রভাব পড়ে কিনা through your experience. প্রশ্নটা হয়তো একটু ব্যক্তিগত হয়ে গেল তাই দূ:খিত।
হিজাব, দাঁড়ি, টুপি তে কোনো সমস্যাই হবে না ঈনশাআল্লাহ; I prayed in shopping malls, airports, train and my wife also maintains hijab. We didn’t face any adverse situation there, Alhamdulillah.

আসসালামু আলাইকুম। ইনশা আল্লাহ মে মাসের প্রথম সপ্তাহে বাংলাদেশ থেকে টরেন্ট যাচ্ছি।টরেন্ট থেকে উইন্সরে কিভাবে যাওয়া যায় আর গাড়ি ভাড়া কেমন খরচ পড়বে জানালে উপকৃত হতাম।ধন্যবাদ
W.Salam. I went to Windsor by Via Rail from Toronto; cost was 200 CAD for two adults & two kids, 4 hours comfortable journey. You can purchase online tickets from Bangladesh using your credit card.
By car, you have to pay 300-350 CAD.
