Hi Davie, I've been tying for about 25+ years and I learn something from each of your videos. Thanks for sharing your skill and knowledge.
Really love the combo of sunburst and hot orange. Thx for sharing Davie
Ive tied probably a hundred flies with this pattern with different colours and sometimes skull heads. Thanks a lot for this video it helped alot getting in to fly tying.
Davie I recently started sharing my own videos so I know how tricky it is to capture detail in one take. This is a beautiful fly - your depth of explanation and polished demonstration is exceptional. Thanks for making it look
Beautiful fly Davie, thank you for your hard work and artistry, you are my inspiration in fly tying.
Davie, I find your flies spectacular!!! I will start working on some of the flies in your videos right away ... can't wait to get started. Thank you soooo much for sharing your wisdom.
Great profile and colour's✌
Très belle mouche encore, merci pour la video Davie !
Wonderful fly Davie. Thanks.
Hi Michael Hafler,
Yes if you want as I'm sure it will still catch....All the very best Davie
Looking forward to the long dark winter evenings tying. Allways with Davie on TH-cam in the background :-)
So effective!
Class :) as always Davie
Nice fly-all tie some up👍🏻
Beautiful job! :)
Very good, true master.
Davie,
Thanks for sharing your gift. Am going fishing for peacock bass next winter. Do you think the Sunburst Black Ghost might work?
HiJim Killy,
You're very welcome and I'l glad you enjoy them...The Sunburst version of the Black Ghost is a very good pattern for small Char and if tied with dyed olive Rabbit it makes for a very good Perch or Brook trout so I would say it would certainly be worth tying for peacock bass...
All the very best Davie
Hi Davie nice fly. On what kind of fish would you try that fly. Were I live in Canada, I would probably fish for bass and big trout.
Hello Davie. Greta looking streamer. Just wondering it would work on big rainbows as well huh? Are you going to be tying some wet flies sometime? Have tried tying my own pheasant legs like you showed in the video you done. Thank you very much for doing that. Its helped me a lot. Cheers. Best Regards, Ken
if steelhead is the same as sea trout, then this is a superb streamer for it aswell as sea bass
Piękny
great big thank you
you're so pro davie :)! greatings from norway !
Hi David where sould I buy a fly tying starter kit , would £15 be enough ? Love your videos
I have two questions for you if you'd be so kind. 1) would you do a video or two on steelhead streamers? And 2) I'm curious about whip finish tools. I've only ever used my hand; it works just fine, does a tool make for a stronger and more durable finish? Thanks.
Steele head work well on silver and blue. At the start of the season . Have never used the whip finish tool. Once you get the "trick" it's easy. Get the tension good, good silk right. Then nail polish. Not once but twice, maybe more..
Little tip, airplane dope. Too start. Keeps any hair in place.
As a pro fly tier.
You should try yellow, red, orange later in the season.
Davie, Lad, could you tie your version of Frank Sawyer's Bowtie Buzzer for me.
Oh and keep up the Tying Videos Love them all. Who do you recommend for fishing ponds and Lochs video wise?
Slàinte Mhath agus Slàinte Mhor to you and your family
It's a simple nymph. Put a few fingers
Out the back, and wind it up to you front. But depends what you want. Most people put in a laed. Some people want e pupa some want a shrimp! .your choose.

Hi Mark,
I have attached a link to the hook that I used, it's not meant for this style of fly but I feel it suit it well...I'm glad you like the fly...

Luckily you are not a fish. Fish like spectacular. Most people would be happy to have a word like spectacular in a comment about their work. You managed to make sound badly anyway. Just my opinion. Everyone has a right to one, unfortunately.
