I feel they did the difficulty exactly right for the DLC: Regular are not too hard, about isle2 level I'd say, enough to provide a challenge but not so hard that they put off people who returned after not playing for a couple of years, but the expert difficulty is really fucking hard. Saltbaker on expert lives in my nightmares.
I'm so proud of having beating the bosses on expert at all, it's quite probably the most difficult thing I've ever done. Seeing you demolish them like this just blows my mind. Mad respect.
Hater% is my favourite category 😄 I like the random unexpected 4th wall breaks in this game. Like when King Dice swallows the camera whilst looking into said camera. Like when the lady with the gramophone distorts the non-diagetic music, and like when the female dog uses her airship to grab hold of the camera and rotate it. It's like the characters of the Cuphead universe are aware of the 4th wall but only occasionally choose to acknowledge its existence...
Your awesome at this, i always thought the aggressive way to go is favored in this game's mechanics. Tree top follies took me forever because i played it safe and was always trying to get everything and not lose a hit point, seeing you rip thru it was a real eye opener and education.
as someone who has been trying a version of this with super I and 2 to 2:10 minute times allowed, seeing you beat these guys in the time it took me hours to beat them is awe inspiring. however, i think the hater% category is incomplete without the secret boss phases too!
just saw you beat Funfair Fever, man that is a weird level. i've gotten through the first two ladder-walls without taking damage, but i still ended up needing to use the invicibility super on the giant shotgun guy because i didn't want to take damage. i haven't been able to parry over the cannon wall though, i just shot it because i was lazy; maybe i'll try to parry it again in the future. much appreciation for your performance!
It's quite tricky because you need to parry the cannon ball at the highest point and dash over the top. Also about the secret phases of bosses is not important to me. That is just a personal preference imo.

Why do you get hit at the 32:15 level, but restart at 1:24? Is that level impossible in hater %?
Yes. In order to go through those obstacles without taking damage, you need the smoke bomb, but hater% rules doesn't allow the use of any charm.

I used a glitch called the fresh expert glittch, that allows me to play on expert mode from a clean file.
