- Part 2 of the young piggie rescued from a shelter just an hour before birthing her pups. We didn't expect it to happen when it did! We were only supposed to pick these 3 girls up to transport to the backing rescue. Due to their age and recent stress, they were considered high risk pregnancies, and needed to be attended. One had her babies at the shelter in the middle of the night, the other 2, who weren't as big, had their babies here. All mamas and babies were fine.
Watching this video is making me think that I won't be using wood shavings for my mummy to be lol. I will watch a few more more and see if the alternatives are better. I have learned a lot from watching all of your videos. Thank you so much.
Hello ma'am, i realize today that my boar is pregnant. This video helps me a lot to study the delivery process
And you deserve my likes and subscribe ❤️
Thank you, skynerd.
If your guinea pig is pregnant, please separate her from the boy. I also recommend a vet visit very soon. The babies need to nurse until they're 3 weeks, and then will need to be separated from mama and girls at 3 weeks, as guinea pigs can be fertile that young. Guinea pigs can become pregnant as soon as 15 hours after they have birthed a litter (which is very dangerous for them!), so it is important that you keep boys and girls separate. Even a moment together can result in pregnancy. It only takes a few seconds for it to happen.
There are a lot of piggy babys, so cute with their good mums.
Wow that must be painful😣
I think she'll be an excellent mom
Wow, compared to the first two, baby number three looks like he's ready to go out and hit the town 🤣
This Mother has a big ❤ She is Beautiful 🐹🥰🐹👍
Mama got hungry after all 3 babies came out ❤❤
They certainly do! Once all the work is done, we give the mamas a good big meal.
Awww 🥰
Cute❤
What l did for my females giving birth, was making an area with hay so it’s a cleaner and softer area for birthing.
It looks like the third one is a teddy Mi e had two once.
Awww such a good mommy. They are some lil noisy babies 😂so cute
One of the piggys is Texel race. So cute.
She's a beautiful mom.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment ❤️ was it raining outside? I thought I Heard thunder.
No thunder or rain that day. Was probably the cat running around upstairs. He often sounds like a heard of elephants. LOL
Bea babies ❤
Can I ask about breed this ginea pig? I have ginea pig with the same appearance and I don't know about breed.
She's a mix. The medium length of her hair makes me think she has some silkie or sheltie in her lineage, as well as smooth/American. Colour-wise, she would be considered tri-colour, but she may have calico in her line. The darker area on her back end is "ticked" (each individual hair has 2 to 3 shades or colours giving it a "tweed" look), so she obviously has some agouti in her DNA, too. Pretty little lady, isn't she?

What part of the world is your rescue ?
We’re in the Los Angeles, California area near Redondo Beach.
@@therescuegarden38 okay. good to know. are you 501c3? just curious, sorry for the billion questions lol
@@fitzguineavision no worries about the question 🌻. Unfortunately, we have not had the money in the budget to get our 501 status. So we are not yet.
That’s such a small space for so many.
That was only temporary. I was transporting them, and was a layover for a couple of hours until they went to the rescue that ultimately took them in.
Are you running a Shelter for Guinea Pigs?
We are a rodent rescue specializing in mice and Guinea pigs.
