I have found faulty air bricks to be the cause of enormous draughts

Should follow up with some DIY retrofit videos with stuff from your store 🏪 showing the simple fixes.

Agreed, we will get to that. Eventually. 😉

Are there any sealed down lights?
So a un vented roof is better?

There are sealed downlights. We also have a range of downlight covers, that reduce air flow through recessed lighting. All roofs are normally ventilated and require ventilation, not much you can about that. The air barrier must follow or be directly abutted to the thermal barrier.

Thanks for that, very clear information.
I'm in the UK in a 1950's semi detached property and can physically feel cold air around my head with the heating on and it's really been bugging me. Hoping to renew the loft insulation and cap the downlights soon

That’s great. Come on. Let’s design a ventilation system that gives us ventilation fresh air no smells no cold drafts may be a wind mill on the roof and some control. Pipes and valves thanks mike
