- Why is capcut dying? Why are many people from the editing community leaving? Why, why, why?! In todays video, I'll be going through how capcut blew up and why it's now dying...
Capcut is an editing software many know and used to love... bit what happened and how did we end up in this situation? Is capcut a bad app as people say? Or is it an actually good app that's underappreciated?

Honestly, THEY SHOULD KNOW THE DIFFERENCE OF TEMPLATE AND AN OG EDIT. A TEMPLATE HAS THE CAPCUT LOGO ON THE TOP RIGHT, THEN THE OG EDIT DOESN'T HAVE IT.

Capcut has a feature of removing the watermark by reposting it and you can just delete that repost

You can just screen record the song and go to extract audio, then select it and u have it and when ur done just delete the screen recording

I personally agree! I’ve trained myself to learn capcut so I don’t find it good for me to switch to another app, but, one thing you can do is make your edit using pro, then screen record it, crop it, and use the free feature to boost the quality in capcut. Hope this helps!

It still ends up looking pretty low quality though, even when you export it at 2k/4k

When I Started Capcut
I got annoyed while using effects
But the thing is I IGNORED THE PRO THING WHILE USING
EFFECTS!!! I couldn’t export but I noticed it was the pro effects
I kelt begging a family member to buy me pro,they said they couldn’t
So I’m just a editor using the non-pro effects.
Early edit:Lots of my vids are templates but since I’m a small content creator
The Templates and my non Template vids get likes under 60

Hey, CapCut user here and I’m just going to leave this here and pray that the creator of the app never finds it (in fear of them fixing it and implementing a block)
But screen record the edits that have pro content used for it. Try and make the edit you screen record big enough for slightly better quality And if the quality is a little off use the adjustments on the edit to your liking
A very affective loophole IMO
Is it wrong? Probably, but I find it a lot more scummy for an app that originally had a lot of its content being free to being somewhat locked behind a paywall

Pretty sure people are probably already doing that, but soon you won’t be able to screen record or take screenshots on mobile. Some apps already block screen recording by turning the screen black. This doesn’t happen on PC, though. The only reason I still have CapCut installed is for some of the pro features and some automated options

Early! I am a capcut and an alight motion editor at the same time and I'm trying to combine the two to make edits most of the times and I only see hate on the templates, thankfully not on mine that aren't templates. Still i do get low views, likes etc but idrm as long as i enjoy it then its alr :]

You are so right, I used a template for a trend for fun and it gained way more than i expected. And the edits that aren't templates gained a very little likes and comments. I honestly really agree with you. The capcut community needs to improve her personality. How unfair, the only editing apps i used is capcut where it has an only little amount of pro..

When I realised auto-captions were pro, making my videos became so much harder because I wanted to use my voice in the vids!
And auto captions literally saved me hours of just adding in texts, but now I can’t do that since it’s pro now 😭
If anyone out there knows how to use auto captions on another app besides CapCut, let me know!!
Yep. My edits had auto captions, but because of it becoming pro, I had to either have normal text or no text at all.

Can't relate more to this. Even something as easy as REDUCING NOISE (which you can do in Audacity for free) is paid access.

nah i dont recommend using that app. i used that when i first started editing, then i switched to capcut. then 2 months ago, i started using videostar too

As a person whos in the capcut template creators, i barely edit anymore, post templates because of lack of edits to make for people to use.
At first only new features were pro but now the previous half free are also pro and everything is just in the templates So no meaning of editing.
Bro then Buy pro and which Is the prob everyone has with pro?! Everyone has at least 7 dollars to buy the pro like fr

Only thing I don’t support is how everything is ‘drag and drop’. I get how there’s keyframes people make themselves and all but a lot use their effects in edits. Which in other apps, you have to literally make your own shakes, transitions, ect. As an AE and video star editor, I don’t exactly support CapCut. Everything was practically ‘copied’ from AE. Taking its look for desktop editors, taking editors edits and turning them into templates on CapCut. It’s honestly unfair. I don’t say I hate CapCut editors, but to me, it’s not real editing when it comes to drag and drop effects plus templates.
Cause is to much pro we can't use anymore like text template transition and more

As a capcut editor I can say that this is real. It started in 2022, capcut was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Then the pro thing came. I moved to funimate and alight motion. I do use capcut, but only for ghost zooms.
Capcut is very good only if you search music they don't search song what you want music
Honestly, they could just make it so in order to use someones template you need the editor’s permission. For exp. U see a cool template and want to use it. You need to contact the editor and get there permission and tag them

As a nonpro user, I still wanted to redownload the app, even after seeing the ONE STAR reviews! Why? I just didn’t want to do edits, I wanted to make simple animations! (And they kinda look good tbh)
Now they have a watermark not just on templates, but on normal videos too.

Capcut nowdays is Pay to Edit like example the new update they made video have watermark, yes literally watermark not the end credit, then effect, etc. Capcut is still good but pay? I can leave if the app is too much "PRO" i just sad seen this😢

Pro tip: download a cracked version. Or delete the thing that blockes you from exporting videos with pro effects in the source code

I was used to be a CapCut editor, but now I tend to edit my future content with Kdenlive.
I left Capcut because of the templates, stealing my edits, and turning everything pro. I use Priemere Pro now, so I can edit better, even tho its more money than capcut pro. I still use it, because its more advanced, and stuff.

As a capcut user, I started making edits with capcut, but there's a glitch/bug thingy. It's that when u open app, u can't see yo projects, and the create new button for some reason stay under the page of projects. And also, my edits from there don't get much views. Also, they don't have the music I need, every thing I could use is freaking pro, and it's so hard to make perfect edit.
I moved to vita, and my edits from there got me 750 views, and. 20 likes.

I agree with this I use cap cut because it’s a simple editing app and easy to use and I don’t use templates and I get little to no attention with my hours long editing videos.

I LOVE this type of video idk how to edit like this but i really want to learn i have been editing for about 3 years and i mostly quit bcux my old phone cant screen record and all the recording apps are super buggy so i just use capcut templates sometimes mostly i just edit it but when i dont feel like editing i dont KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK🎉
