The Ukrainians don't plan to take the city of Kursk itself, that would not fall as easily. That would be street to street house to house and Ukraine would be loosing dozens of troops daily. Putin has over 17 million square kilometers of land area in Russia. He, like Zelenskyi can be flexible with the give and take of land, especially in these peasant border areas.

The Ukrainians don't plan to take the city of Kursk itself, that would not fall as easily. That would be street to street house to house and Ukraine would be loosing dozens of troops daily.
