I can understand what happened to Scriabin - he really should have had a DS 5.1 keyboard, which would make him be able to play 11ths. Except… DS wouldn’t exist for another 90 years.

Islamey is one my favorite piano pieces, as it is very thrilling to rush into the ending with the various themes. Very good arrangement!
(btw, is 7:57 a Rachmaninoff piano concerto no 1 referecne?)

No one else could have such a dense writing in a piece and yet keep on making total musical sense. Even Chopin couldn't resist and lend his touch from bar 249 on.
