Every New Yorker needs that noise! When I use to live in queens I couldn't sleep because it was so quiet.

I stayed in a hostile right next to tracks in BK and it was very soothing and helped me fall asleep each night very fast. Unbelievably. Hahah.

Don’t do it we r slaves to our government. Like doing anything??? Literally we have to sue for every right. Gov Cuomo laughs, says “well we’ll see how it goes in the appellate court”. Cuomo appointments the judges, he owns them. NY sucks, it’s a scourge. I am literally traveling to Texas next week, to be free. Truth!

I’ve been in Midtown so many times but have never ventured over to Hell’s Kitchen. Definitely a destination before my next Broadway adventure.

Jon, you’re what’s keeping me in New York City when I’m not even there if that makes sense. I cannot believe how many places I passed when I was there. I remember being in my hotel room looking at Apple Maps being like, “I’m really that close to Times Square?” There is still so much for me to do!

It is underrated but I think many tourist stumble upon it by accident since it’s so close to the main attractions. It’s sort of an “accidental” hot spot in ways

I live in Maryland. But, I agree with Billy on national chain restaurants, when visiting other cities. I have my own problems with them on road trips. If I can get it at home, in my own area, I don't want it on the road. I'd rather visit locally owned restaurants, that are unique to that area.
I totally agree with you and I never visit national chains in NYC. However, in the real world most people are not foodies and would rather be conservative and eat at a chain restaurant or eat similar food items they grew up with.

Hells Kitchen is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Manhattan. It's got a neighborhood vibe with tons of bars and restaurants. Very comfy feeling.

hello hdb, the neighborhood was and is with many of the nicer places to eat near shows and cinema. the favorite thai restaurant is wondee, bakery for chocolate sticks amy's bread (original in greenwich), rice and beans for south american, and a newer bakery schumacher cookie shop (bacon choco chip) - miss that a lot. thank you for walking there. elle for 9th ave

About 10 years ago, my sister had a friend visiting with her daughter (some function in NYC), she gave her friend 5 or 6 kid friendly places to go eat in midtown...My sister lived in Nyack, so she checked in a few days later, friend is all "oh, well, Jenny wanted chicken nuggets, so we just went to Applebees... Ann has not spoken to her since. Great video. Getting my 2nd Vaccine next Saturday!

Went to Hell’s Kitchen when I visited NYC IN 2012. Loved it. Went to see the former 596 Bar of Westies fame.
I need to return to NYC it’s just my favourite place on earth. There is no other place like it.
I hope that people like Billy never disappear completely from NYC's landscape, because then, NYC wouldn't be NYC. If that makes any sense. :)

This is my neighborhood! 9th avenue in the 50s also has the cutest restaurants and bars and liveliest atmosphere in my opinion!
