A well-balanced diet of self-fulfilling prophecy. Although, expounded upon again, the samurai seem to practice a less-caustic attitude directly towards 'the little people' than the prime exhibits of the opposite, those oft-referenced Bretonnians. Direct adaptation of Japanese cultural history or not, these seven principles do all seem to be prime tenets by which to live one's life in resistance to the Chaos of the Ruinous Powers; not merely in service to a human ruler. Thus far, I'm hearing that the elite samurai class of Nippon, at least, do serve only earthly body entities - other humans - and not any of their many types of deities; as worship through dutiful service. A notable difference to other human nations and factions of the Old World. The interpretation of the moral of Compassion is both suiting to ancient Japanese society and befitting of Warhammer. Care and empathy via protection through military.
More obssession with ritual and with the presentation of one's self to all others in society, in all ways and at all times. With that stubbornly final, and painful, solution of suicide never to be forgotten as an option always open to consideration, in Nippon! Yeesh, this Fantasy race could relate to the dire, despairing tendancy towards self-termination that the hivers of 40K's Nostramo equally held in high regard - or as a prioritized likelihood, anyway.
Your video's first couple of countryside/natural landscape pictures aptly lay out the setting and atmosphere. While the guy seen after 4:05 has donned an interestingly intricate (samurai) business suit. I haven't yet decided, I don't think I have enough input, if living in the classism society of Nippon would be overall less horrible or even not-horrible, in so far as it parallels with Bretonnia's society. Also, not having read or listened to any novel of Nippon. Still, I offer you my great gratitude for more of these crucial, fleshing-out facts on the Nipponese, GDN. It fulfills some more though I'm definitely looking forward to the differences in major clans, to come next. 'Til then, have an awesome and healthy day, and may the blessings of Sigmar be upon you.

Oh boy Mike I got to say I've studied a lot of Japanese history and some language myself I think GW could have done a lot better with this faction but you say it well about Nippon for what it is

I sensed a disturbance in the winds of magic. As if a million bretonian voices all cried out in anger

If you ever get the chance to make a video that is about reworking their lore, try leaning more towards the idea of the land being the Wild West, with only a few bastions being a version of the classical Japanese inspiration, and everywhere else is being closer to the open wilderness of the Wild West that was also inspired by Japanese tales. It would have things like these:
    - Samurai would be closer to sheriffs or bounty hunters who keep the order for their rulers and travel on their behalf.
    - Ronins would be closer to the bandits or outlaws who are traveling from one place to another, either fixing problems for the peasants or causing them.
    - Their priest caste would have a bit more active role than simply residing in their temples, having the desire to travel to villages and small communities like pastors.
    - The clans could either be the head families who govern the sanctuaries of civilization, each with their different ideals of the Bushido due to general separation, or mafia-like families that have more criminal attitudes, but not necessarily criminal in activities.

The Amazon and Albion lore was rather more creative than the Nippon lore... It needs a bit more distance from the inspirations, I think.

This is actually fantasy Japan since the Bushido code is greatly exaggerated in the West, just like chivalry with knights.
