I sure am enjoying these daily videos. You’ve been dealing with a lot of rain this summer that’s been slowing you down on making new videos. Those roads look more like highways than roads. The owner is getting a good stockpile of topsoil from the ditches. I know the owner is very pleased with the results of your work so far. It’s impressive as always. I’m looking forward to the pond build.
What a transformation from a day ago. You started with mud and debris and finished it looking like a proper road dase. The enormous brush pile is almost totally gone, and the whole area is about cleaned up for good.
I think I enjoy the finish touch ups about the most in all your videos, probably about as excited about the finish look as much as you are, I always like to try and envision what the finish will look like and then see how close I get to what you actually do, it usually comes out better than what I envision, once awhile just about what I envisioned, but never less than. Thanks for the update, it looks sweet, nice road finish, enjoyed watching.
I retired before hydraulic thumbs became a thing on excavators. If I had owned one of them I would have been like a "hog with a new nose ring!"...lol. Fun watching you sort and restack the burning brush.
Another pond going in! Yahoo!!! The 350 with your grading/ brush bucket sure moves alot in no time. Looking forward to you using the new "brute bucket" Keep up with the great videos Chris! You run a great operation on so many fronts. 👍👍
Oh boy, another pond, my dad had a pond dug back in 1964 with a CAT D8, and I've loved watching big equipment ever since. Thanks for the content, I don't have to stop at construction sites anymore.
A old compost company once told me that if you want good compost you have to let the material sit in a pile for five years flipping it every other year to ensure everything breaks down at the same rate
It’s interesting to see giant compost companies doing their thing. They have it all in huge long rows and a machine like a big arched rotovator that straddles the rows to churn them.
I do enjoy watching your channel the best out of all that are out there. I do have to laugh though I seem to remember you saying at one time that you didn't see a use for a haul truck, how times have changed. We live and we learn ... such is life. Life is change, and learning, and.... 😊
Hi Chris. I love the you think out loud. You are a natural at explaining what and why when you're working. As a complete novice I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe and keep smiling.😁
Its about time for another pond building video. I like them all but until you do the dam, I sometimes have trouble what the true layout of the pond will be.
The grapple with the built in thumb is probably the best addition to the 350. It eliminates the need for a permanent thumb and its added weight. Any plans for a "felling bucket" with it's own thumb built in? It would eliminate the need for a permanent thumb altogether.
Those ashes mixed with the road clearing & organic matter will make superb topsoil. I used stuff like that to make my new vegetable garden here in the UK & these days it returns around 14lbs of produce per yd².
That road makes a huge improvement to that property. It gives access to several areas that were unused. Of course with Chris the contractor there's no doubt it's going to be done the way it should be. I'm excited he's starting on a new pond build next episode.
Hell of job on them ditches and the graptor rake works awesome but I think that pile down by burn pile going to make some excellent dirt in a couple of years but it sure is looking pretty darn good out so far and I’ll be looking forward to the pond you’re going to build for this customer I’m sure he is impressed with it all so far Nicely done Chris 👍😎🇺🇸
That 350 bucket should shave off time digging a pond. Fill Barney and get stuck- you have Plan B,,,pull it out with the 350. The roads show a huge improvement.
Some months ago you put the camera on the front of the truck bed, it was interesting to watch the unloading, just like today when the camera was on the top of the truck cab.
Despite the many hours you have spent working on this project it still looks like a swamp. Your work has been outstanding but it may be that nature is still in charge there.
Chris I was watching some of your videos from 7 years ago today you've come a long ways and it shows even the way you make your videos!!!! By the way the videos I was watching is where you was in the junkyard crushing vehicles
Jesus Christ, Chris, that big bucket is going to be all rusty before you get a chance to use it. Chris, you're killing me, making me wait to see that big bucket working on the pond. Please have a video out on Monday of that beast digging. Thanks for sharing, Chris, and God bless you, Chris, and be safe out there 👍
Will never forget when I was young we were looking at purchasing some land in Pender County. We crossed a ditch and where I landed there was a Rattlesnake within striking distance. Mom yelled at my dad "Hell no not in this lifetime'!!
That's the way to do it. Find out what the max load is for the truck and work down from there. You'd get mad if you started at the low end and found out you could have been hauling a lot more.
Saw these guys on u-tube that took a blade from a motor grater and put a coupler for a quick connect so you can connect it to the excavator for ditching and it seemed to work very well 🤔🤔🤔😊
Barney has been pretty faithful ole truck for you Chris. Great Job!!
I love how you explain why and how. You also leave everything looking so neat and tidy. Thank you for sharing. 😍💖😎

That brand new 350 bucket looks sooooo beautiful 😮
That 350 Volvo with the Graptor Rake is absolute game changer for sure Chris!
It always impresses me how much work one man can do in a day. Great job on the roads.
Good to see this place drying and allowing you to work!! Enjoyed the truck bed camera position. Just a cool view of the equipment!!
That is some mighty fine looking road you made there Chris. Helps they had a base down under it at one point, but you cleaned it up very properly.

Yes, an opposible thumb makes everything easier and efficient. As any Ape.
Another pond going in! Yahoo!!!
The 350 with your grading/ brush bucket sure moves alot in no time.

Keep up with the great videos Chris!
You run a great operation on so many fronts.

Great video. That 350 is a BEAST! Thanks for sharing the video.

Working alone
Looks like fun to me thanks for another enjoyable video sir!

Nice to see the rain slowing down and work picking up. Thank you Chris.
There is still a good 2 months left in hurricane season for South Carolina

Another beautiful piece of property. Every direction clean and neat. Whoa a pond yippee! Have a great week Chris.
I'm patiently waiting for this pond project, the the 350 and the new bucket!

Another great video bro the roads are looking good before the pond build starts. Safe travels. Ken.
Peaceful Sunday afternoon Watching Chris doing His thing in the woods ,just a awesome way to spend a leisure day Well done Chris
Love the video Chris on this work now its dry ..
Hi Chris. I love the you think out loud. You are a natural at explaining what and why when you're working. As a complete novice I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe and keep smiling.😁
Another pond my favorite videos. Thanks Chris
So good to see the way to do the job right - clean up neat.
When that grading bucket shows up on the project. It’s about to get serious .
I know you can and do run just about any piece of equipment…but that 220 is like an extension of your soul lol. Well done Sir💪🇺🇸
What a busy intersection ! thanks Chris
Its about time for another pond building video. I like them all but until you do the dam, I sometimes have trouble what the true layout of the pond will be.
awesome video, I love watching you work, thanks for sharing Chris

That looks awesome, Chris. Watching you improve this property has been fun. Thanks for sharing with us.
Your working habits are very efficiently oriented. Well done. It’s nice to see.

Nice road, can't wait to see water in the ditches.
As Crocodile Dundee would say, Now That's a Bucket.
😂😂😂
Awesome sums it all up!
That road will be good prepared for heavy rain!
That’s one big bucket. Looking forward to see Chris dig with it. I think he’s going to to need a bigger truck.lol👍👍👍
Yea!!! A pond coming up love all of your videos 💕
Seems like it has been awhile since the last big pond build, looking forward to see you doing your magic.
That 350 bucket should shave off time digging a pond. Fill Barney and get stuck- you have Plan B,,,pull it out with the 350. The roads show a huge improvement.
Thanks very much for the video and making progress in this work for this customer. Thanks Stephen
I look forward to seeing the substrate strata of this place. Dam on! :)
Very nice job. That 350 makes short work cleaning up trash piles.
Honestly, I love watching the 350 work!!
Can’t wait to see the pond build!
'Brings to mind 45 years ago cleaning roadside ditches with a gradal in Florida. At least you are not pulling up alligators!
Some months ago you put the camera on the front of the truck bed, it was interesting to watch the unloading, just like today when the camera was on the top of the truck cab.
Look forward to first pond build with the 350!
Looking good.
Looking amazing and looking forward to the pond build.👍👍👍👍
Looks great and tons of compost.
Hard to remember what a flooded swampy mess that property was way back in the beginning. Sure is looking good these days.
goodie.. LD18 back to building ponds.. though up to this point, I think he should have been building an Ark.
THANKS!
Nice work!
5:51 Getting Mr AJ Works vibes.
As usual, I am in awe 👍😎
Great job
Despite the many hours you have spent working on this project it still looks like a swamp. Your work has been outstanding but it may be that nature is still in charge there.
Nature is always in control, we think we can do what we want but it’ll never give up on us
It cant stop us from trying! Manhattan was once a swamp!
Always impressed how you make it look so nice...no short cuts
...nice...
A few truck loads of wood cips will make the compost pile look better. In my area they can free from tree companies.
But they often have poison ivy in them, I found out the hard way!
Nice video Chris.

Looking great as always, will be nice to see another pond build its been awhile!
Did the storms bring up that deep pond you built???
Great job as always Cris. I never miss a video of yours in the last five years. Yay. The pawn starts Next video Ray from Oregon
Will never forget when I was young we were looking at purchasing some land in Pender County. We crossed a ditch and where I landed there was a Rattlesnake within striking distance. Mom yelled at my dad "Hell no not in this lifetime'!!
😂 Need to tint the windows says Old mate with sunglasses on his Cap 😊😂🎉
Good job mate looking good
y have lat of respect voor what jou doing chris al by jour zelf y am a big fan of jour channel
Finally the big boy bucket!! is that the biggest bucket the 350 can handle tho Chris ?
I bet it is the biggest to still be considered safe. They make bigger ones but if its loaded full, i bet the machine gets too tippy.
Prolly!
@@warrenmichael918makes sense
Chris you’ve left us all hanging with a cliffhanger of seeing the new bucket on the 350 😂😂😂
16 thousands viewed this plus more he sure can get people into watching his videos
Can you haul the kamatsu with the 450?
He already has on the gooseneck trailer, the grader, the compactor, & course the smaller things
This winter you wont need help, but,if you do,ill do it free until you decide if im a good worker, etc.
Saving all those ashes is smart asf. Wonder how many years before the pine straw and ash will yield good topsoil ? Anyone know ?
24:55. That 330 is WOW awesome.
I bet Mike Simon would want to borrow it.
That's the way to do it. Find out what the max load is for the truck and work down from there. You'd get mad if you started at the low end and found out you could have been hauling a lot more.
You need to invest in one of those “V” ditch buckets Chris
MM Pond yum yum :)
You need wooden side boards on Barney like other dump trucks have, hahaha... Piling it high!!! :D
Hi Chris remember the big horse shoe you did was there any update on it to see how it is now great jobs you do 😊
Chris that would be a beautiful piece of land for Mr.Geoff for development since you have the road in and owner was willing to sell for right price.
Would grading option help you onthe ditches?
111 good morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your day we have a cold fine weather ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
350 with tinted windows is going to look sick 😊
Is that about a 3yd bucket for 350 Chris just curious i know it's not as big as the 550 bucket it was close to 6 wasn't it
Can’t wait to see you start hogging out a lot of dirt with the big bucket. Stay safe
Nice job
How can something so massive be so precise? 😲
Liquefaction
Saw these guys on u-tube that took a blade from a motor grater and put a coupler for a quick connect so you can connect it to the excavator for ditching and it seemed to work very well 🤔🤔🤔😊
This stuff is looking very good - perhaps just one year of composting to top quality black soil.
