I remember my parents watching this as a kid in the early 90s when it first came out. I was kind of scared of the show and it was very, very strange to me. My dad passed away in 1992 abruptly from a heart attack. First and last. I gave him CPR and failed. I was the last one he felt. It's like he told me, "Theres no use already, I'm a gonner" I was doing the mouth to mouth wrong and chest compressions wrong. I felt useless, a let down. My dad was 40years old, and I was 14. I refused to see or hear anything from this time because it reminded me of my father's death. I watched the original show a couple years ago and it is a work of art, Incredible, beautiful. The music is out of this world. It takes you somewhere else. It affects me in a good way. Very deep and meaningful. It's hard to explain. I Love you Dad
You did what you could. It wasn't meant to be. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my mom, in 95' I was, 19 yrs old. She was 46....I am now, 46. My daddy died a yr ago Oct. I know, how hard ot is. 😔
You have my deep sympathies. Not only for the loss of your dad, but because I know that feeling of having done CPR on a family member, and lost. They never tell you, when you go through first-aid/CPR training, what that will do to you, that you will blame yourself, second-guess yourself , no matter how correctly you did it. It was horrid as an adult, I cannot imagine how much worse to have to deal with that as a child.

Sir: Thanks for a beautiful recall of your childhood. Sounds like it was a good time for you. I was in my 40’s when this was on in the U.S. Very weird show… and VERY cool. 👍👍🍺🍺
Many folks here talk about this taking them back to the 90's. I watched it then and again about 15 years ago, but I have to say, this music is totally TIMELESS.
I discovered today this video! I watched Twin Peaks in the 90s and really loved this show! All the people here commenting have my respects for good taste on music/tv shows. See you all in the white lodge! Remember, the owls are not what they seem
When I listen to this song, like others here, I get very nostalgic and go to turn it off several times and then I can’t. I say ‘just a few more minutes.’💕
i watched some episodes as a child in the 90'... i had 0, and i mean it, 0 clue what was it about, but i turned in the show just because of the intro music. come to think of it, its a bit crazy because like i said, i have no clue what its about.

There is something therapeutic about the synchronization of both music and movement of the blade sharpener. I have ALWAYS wished that this part was longer. THANKS !!!!!!

Line up the tracks and fade between them. That would be way better,. Thanks.
