I haven’t commented on a video in YEARS! But this is important to me.
I’m part of the Husky Training Community, and I actually commented on your post when it was still up!
I use the page for information when I need it, but I can completely confirm that you were in no way out of bounds. That particular admin has called people “stupid” and used vulgar language in her “advice” in the past. She bans people who ask valid questions and I guess this time she banned you because you threatened her position as a “trusted source” on the page.
It’s a shame you had to encounter such unfairness when you were only trying to help. Keep doing what you’re doing!
I just went to that page and looked for her in the Admins list and she wasn't listed. I then did a group search and she wasn't there either. She must've finally left or been kicked from the page.
Facebook has got to be somthing els she sounds like a real B... And it also sounds like she is Threatened by you. She Probly Googled you and found out more than she wanted to know.. 😀🐺

I am not defending them, because I am not a part of that group, I have my own Gone to the Snow Dogs Group , but their "rules" might have been in the documents. I actually run 10 different Facebook groups and I see both sides of this. They should have been way nicer, knowing you were new. (which you can see from the icon saying you are a new member). Facebook groups can get crazy and drama filled. It's nuts! Running a large group is extremely hard to do, and keep up with, but you are correct, they should have been way nicer!

Gone to the Snow Dogs I was on Facebook and I was only trying to reconnect myself with my childhood friends and liking something that interested me. But I have to tell you that complete strangers that I don’t even know were trying to friend me and then some hostile administration we’re making issues about me and other people who were posting controversial statements that were considered inflammatory or insensitive. I left Facebook thereafter. I have not returned to Facebook but now I use Twitter which has a gentle approach toward controversial subjects.
The thing is, you don't HAVE to be nice, and I don't see them not being nice as opposed to just being straightforward and no nonsense about the self promotion. This dude literally came to the group and self promo'd his YT and is now mad because he was told not to and now he's making a video showing personal information which has led to people attacking that lady's personal facebook accounts. That's arguably way worse.
@@Sadows12 AGREED! I was debating whether to sub this page but now I won't. His behavior here sounds like it's causing this lady a lot of grief. Childish. He owes her an apology. (But no one apologizes anymore for anything so I won't hold my breath waiting for that.)

I was in Husky Training Community and Outback Dog Training, I left them both. There were times I found their information helpful, but more often than not I was scolded for recommending something that worked for me, having had huskies since I was 8 years old (I'm 55). They have very rigid opinions on training tools, training methods, etc. They made all kinds of claims to support their preferences, but I couldn't find anything but opinion and blogs to support their preferences. I got to the point where I was afraid to make a comment because some of their responses were very rude and borderline cruel.
The Outback Training Group are a bunch of noobs. I got kicked out of that group haha
Yup happened to me in outback dog training , someone was asking suggestions on stopping dogs from chewing so i just SUGGESTED hot sauce, just because i suggest something DOES NOT by any means mean that they have to use my technique. However, ive used this technique many times and it has worked on almost every single dog that chews. My mother has also used this method and it worked for several dogs for her. Anyway point is is that my comment was removed and told that ''it wasnt tolerated '' but of course nobody mentioned to tell me WHY . So i looked in their rules and assumed it was under the abusive training techniques,but it isnt abusive in my opinion. First off, yes i know there's bitter sprays, however most peoples dogs actually tend to enjoy eating those, if your going to use something use something that no dog will like also, i looked it up online and hot sauce is in fact NOT toxic for dogs and in fact doesnt cause anything other than stomach irritation, vomiting, and diarrhea in LARGE amounts but not in SMALL amounts which is what i even said in my comment on their page, yet the admins are just such snobs that they cant get over that not everyone uses their methods only to train animals and that not every method they have will work on every dog.
I am sorry this happened. I am a member of the Husky Training Community. I saw your original post and was happy others would have another resource to get some ideas from. I was slightly concerned you would get the ban hammer. Seen them snap when people would offer other resources or Facebook groups to help people with serious issues. They usually threaten to close the group if you suggest something outside of them. To many are being abandoned into rescues or kill shelters to not be trying to get this breed the best help we can give them no matter the means.
I don’t know how I was fortunate enough to come across your channel, but I’m glad I did. Your personality and relationship and how you interact with your dogs are the same as I have with mine. I’ve been watching a lot of your library and have learned so much from you rather it be corrections for my husky or myself. I’ve also have had many good laughs as your describing some of the quirky behaviors of your dogs which are the exact same as mine. So thanks for everything you do and see you on the next Sixty Formula!

Sorry, your husky helped me deal with the of death of my 16yr old Shiva inu.it was a very depressing time. Please don't let them get away with this. You can tell your heart is with your dogs and others, I don't have a husky but might get one. Your Hila and Britney made me get up each day to see them. Screw them you helped me a lot and I thank you from my heart. I also have 2 cats, say hi to ru from them, they love you also.

I’m an Admin of a a Husky site on Facebook we’d be honoured to have you and your advice on our site! We’re a small site that just started to have Husky Huddles in our area; and have grown to educate people about Huskies.As too many people get our beautiful breed without knowing what’s involved and they end up in Shelters or rescues. We as a group educate to keep the number of homeless Huskies low; we’ve also rehoused two huskies this year since our beginning in June 2019!
I’ve looked at tons of groups on fb and on utube for good informative on huskies...found your channel and haven’t looked elsewhere! You are awesome!

Yeah. It amazes me how much any FB group admins seem to abide the “if you don’t agree with what my holier than thou self has to say then gtfo” mentality.
I'm a mod in a chihuahua group with about 30 thousand members. There are 4 of us and we dont micromanage anything at all. Just delete content thats totally offensive or harrassment and delete spam. I think groups just turn to shit when mods get this micromanaging ego about them

I'm sorry this happened to you. I've enjoyed your videos for years and while i've had huskies most of my life I still find your videos informative when I add another husky to my pack. Especially since I had never crate trained any of my pups before. It's always great to get a second opinion from other knowledgeable people despite your experience level. Thank you for your informative channel. We are currently fostering a year old Sibe who came to us with no manners. Thanks to your videos' we now have him sitting, shaking paw, (almost laying down) sitting at the door before his leash gets put on, staying off the furniture etc. All in a week! Thank you.

I don’t join groups anymore because the admins are on power trips, they’re rude and they think you are the problem when you’re not. Just a ton of toxic people. Only good group I’m active in are for guinea pigs.

Thanks for all that you do, I have a 3 month old Siberian husky who ive been able to connect with so much more due to the training tips ive learned in all these videos.

Keep up the good work. I love your energy, your knowledge, and love your dogs. My Luca is 5 months old. I find the you-tube answers fun (ie: things you can't have with huskys... 1. Yep, no black clothes! Haven't had it since we had our last husky. 2. Socks. When I'm missing any socks, they can be located in Lucas cage with other items that aren't toys. 3. Free time. I am reminded by Luca that it's time to play NOW! and we have to stop what we are doing and we make time for Luca. He's our baby and his growth is most important to me and my family!). Keep up the good work.

I was apart of this FB group(I won’t name) for about a year. Then a few months ago everything blew up. Mods would block and delete ANYONE disagreeing with them. One mod took full control over a group of 13k. (We couldn’t figure out how she did it) There was this big admin battle and admins got back in and deleted every single person from the group. Oh yeah and the cops got called. People be crazy

I have researched a considerable amount on huskies to ensure my husky Wolfie is the best he can be. The only place I learn new things is on your videos.
