Palmer Villages, Palmer Voices: Beverly Russell

Beverly Russell grew up in Palmer, Massachusetts (Depot Village and Forest Lake areas) in the fifties. She shares surprising stories of downtown, the 1955 Flood and the civilian plane-spotting tower. After several years in the Air Force, she headed to California and worked in the aerospace industry. Before returning to Palmer, NASA awarded Beverly with a Silver Snoopy pin in recognition of her contributions to the safety of space shuttle missions.
