Sad, but biblically, Marcus is living in adultery. I can tell he is passionate about God, but God's Word will never contradict itself (Him divorcing and remarrying contradicts God).
We make vows before God saying for better, OR for WORSE (cheating, stealing, jail time, etc..).
Ecclesiastes 5:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
So, now that he is on his 3rd wife, not only he, BUT if his first wife has also re-married, then BOTH are living in adultery:
(Romans 7:3) So then if, while her husband liveth (is ALIVE), she be married to ANOTHER man, she SHALL be called an adulteress: but IF her husband be dead (deceased), she is FREE from that (marital) law; so that she is NO adulteress, though she be married to ANOTHER man

@@LC_H how are you living? Sin free? Unforgiven by God? You are so busy and anxious to judge Marcus..Peter, Paul, etc. all sinned yet they walked with Jesus. And continued the works of Jesus after the resurrection. Stop being so religious….You’ll be judged as well. In the book of Jeremiah it says God divorced Israel…are you going to judge him?

    • @LC_H
      @LC_H 3 ปีที่แล้ว +9

@@bernardinethomas7758 I wrote a comment and like always, when you discuss divorce and remarriage on here it gets erased somehow. Scripture is clear about the issue of marriage (Romans 7:2; 1 Corinthians 7:11; Mark 10:10; Luke 16:18, etc...). God never divorced Israel (if you continue reading throughout the Old testament); Just as Christ will never divorce His Bride (The church); JUST as a man is in covenant with his FIRST wife into death and should not leave her (marriage is the reflection of Christ and His Church). So to watch a brother live in sin (adultery), promote that sin as being justifiable (which contradicts scripture)... God is not pleased. To say, "How am I living?" Which basically is saying mind your business, and that is sad concerning (Ezekiel 3:18-20). Emotions... That's what Christians run on. Not God's Word, but emotions. As they say ... The road to hell is paved with good intentions❤️

Meagan said in an interview they met on the set of “Jumping the Broom” which was produced by Devon Franklin himself. I don’t think he expected her to change but I think he expected she would want to; if that makes sense. She wasn’t going to change because she thought he accepted who she was or at least that’s what it appeared to be to her possibly. They both are apart of Hollywood and involved in those circles. They were married 9 years and I believe they knew the end was near a long time ago. The Bible tells us to come out from among them and be separate. I think Pastor Devon had to excuse himself and overlook a lot to produce movies and work with some of these folks in Hollywood. I pray both of them find their way towards healing that they draw closer to God for understanding and guidance. 💯🙏🏾❤️

Great Word! Be with someone that does not interrupt the flow of who God wants you to be! I learned until you have wholeness do not get into a relationship. People tend to get into relationships while broken and vulnerable and along the way it results in one holding the other person to keep them happy and continuous validation. I do believe that hurt people, hurt people. Thus, before getting into a relationship or marriage ensure that you are whole, needing nothing but the fullness of God. I believe the congregations commentary and other factors lead to their divorce. He’s a man of god, but he is still a man. She’s a beautiful woman and haters are going to hate. I hear a lot about her “settling” for him being a pastor, but I believe she honestly wanted this love. The marriage lasted 9 years. That’s not for nothing. She stopped attending his church to appease the haters. Y’all know most folks had that “should have been me thinking” or “why would he go outside of the flock to find a bride.” He tried to justify her style of dressing and making movies. She’s the same person he met, fell in love with, and married. Over time the comments wore on their marriage. I’m hoping they can come back together or move on amicably. I myself steer clear of church men. I’ve yet to meet one that wasn’t trying to live a dual life and fill me with guilt. If we are made in HIS image and HE knows our hearts why would we waste time beating ourselves up or listening to neigh sayers?!?

I hear that. It mostly happens when good men link themselves with women that are emotionally immature, superficial, and all about “self.” We become users think that a man is just there to supply without it being reciprocal. We can demand a lot from men who we have no intention on committing to. It becomes all about OUR needs. (Like Marcus said a lot of times it starts with wounds that us women have from childhood PLUS media painting an image of how we should be.) The women need to know who they are in God and taught what He values first, so that they can value the same. We may recognize a good man but it won’t “click” to us that that’s who we should be with until we have God’s heart and His eyes to value them.

Brother Marcus, this video, in my opinion, is one of the best videos that you've done. I truly appreciate the transparency and Biblical teaching regarding marriage and relationships. I am 39 and can't wait to be married but I'm waiting for the man that God has for me. I've wasted so much time jumping into unGodly relationships due to feelings and loneliness and it messed me up. It caused so much delay and pain. So thank you for reminding us that God has much more for us, no matter what anyone says or thinks about us or our situation.

This made me cry. I suffered in a physically, emotionally, financially and sexually abusive marriage/relationship for 18 yrs. Left home at 16,17 from abuse. Dealt with molestation from 5 to 13 from a family member. Bullies in school from 4th grade until I dropped out in 11th grade. Five kids and no help from my exhusband or family. Worked my tail off to become a nurse and first yr as a nurse in 2015 Raped on the job. Hopeless, homeless and over it in 2016, my exhusband tried to kill me for leaving him. Divorced in 2018 and still praying for God to bless me with my Kingdom spouse and a better life. The judgment ive experienced from others almost broke me completely. However I know God has an anointing over my life 🙏. Im still here and Praising him in spite of. Its not easy trust me its been the most heartbreaking feeling of never really knowing what healthy love looks like. However my kids are my priority rn, raising them to know Christ, their worth and how to break generational curses is whats most important. Its not easy most days but God!

I will be honest, it is really hard sometimes. I've been single my entire life waiting for the person that God has sent me. I'm 33 year old single woman. Everybody is finding their person, getting married, having kids, and growing families. it is tough sometimes because everybody has their life, and I just feel so alone sometimes. I wish that I could be okay with it but it is really hard at times. It is that feeling that you never really fit in in any place. The 20 some year olds they are in a different space in their minds, so I don't fit in there. The 30 some year olds are getting married and have growing families or getting married & growing their life. I feel like I am on a stan still & there is something wrong with me. I don't want to be in my 40s still waiting but I don't want to marry wrong either. Just being completely real and honest

I can relate. I have never been married and in my early 30s that was the dilemma because everybody seems to be getting married around that time and alot of people in their 20s seem too young minded and worldly for you to hang with them. However... i turn 40 next year and many of those that were married almost 10 years ago that i was basically envious of, are no longer married (either because of divorce or death) and the truth of what they had been dealing with came out. Things aren't always what they seem. I remind myself that if i really really wanted marriage i could have done it by now.. if thats all i wanted.. the comfort is that i didnt settle and i wanted more than just a change in status. Im still figuring it all out and i can honestly say with the way things and people have changed, i am fine being single for the rest of my life if that is Gods will.. you have to be so careful and honest that marriage is no fairytale, it is a learning experience and a way to see the things you need to work on and grow in the fruits of the Spirit. It is a high calling where many times you have to lay your emotions to the side , come out of self, and follow what the Word says. However the world teaches its basically all emotional and romantic and thats all many of us know. Age and experience has taught me its purpose is not even about that. Though all of this has been a painful process, im grateful for what im learning.

Stay close with the ones that show in their action and words that marriage is another path in life and being single is not a sin. I've been divorced as well and have healed from it with God's help and am finding myself still being used by God long after the divorce. God bless you brother!!! You are chosen and Deeply loved by the Father.

Brother Marcus, you realized you were preaching the entire time... You are 100% correct about many of these church folks out there acting as if they are holier than thou. I really appreciate your transparency and I know in my spirits your testimony and your encouragement have helped so many young and even more mature folks. I do believe you were called for Yah's ministry.

I remember Devon even encouraged her into ungodly actions. She could do whatever she wanted to do, dress how she wanted to dress. Devon as the Head and Pastor was very wrong. He rejected rebuke. Not only her. Test the spirits.

Bless u for your encouragement. I've made a lot mistakes didn't know better, hurt, rejected, used by bad people including Christians, all my life living in pain. Today I'm almost 40 years old single women, I feel my life is over in so many ways. I don't even know myself sometimes. The only thing keeping me to live is His peace inside me, I thank God for that. But today I believe God is bigger than my problems. HE IS MY VICTORY!!! Not me.

I'm 36 and single. I'm a year celibate. I'm living for God now. I am waiting on him. There is nothing better than self love and inner peace. To God be all the glory. I don't have kids I have never been married and it doesn't bother me anymore. I'm tired of living in sin, tired of broken relationships. You are not alone. I prefer to stay single and have inner peace. I leave everything in God's hand now

That Jezebel spirit is strong in Hollywood. It’s similar to Kanye when he started to become convicted about his wife’s immodesty.Sometimes these women are so used to being immodest and rebellious. They equate being immodest as being an independent modern woman.Think about Gabriel Union she is very sinister. She runs her household and is leading them to destruction.Devon said he really wasn’t interested in dating a Hollywood actress. He tried. He went against his better judgment.

I was just thinking yesterday how much I have changed from just 4 years ago. When I was with my son's father, I believe that spirit if jezebel was on me. I was using drugs at an early age. I was the last to lose my virginity of my friends and one of the first pregnant at 17. My son's father I assumed was doing me dirty so I decided to do the same. I had been hurt so bad up til that point and cheated a lot. Needless to say we are not together. But I lived like that for a long time. Went to relationship to relationship. Now I couldn't imagine being that person today at almost 35. Thank you Jesus! Your videos are always right on time.

Thank you for sharing. I believe that Devon Franklin said what he said about Megan's dress code, because of the manner in which the church lady asked Megan to "cover up". The lady was rude, she could have handled the matter differently. I understand Devn's reaction to that. No one knows the conversations they had privately. We cannot expect him to share his true feelings on a public stage like that. Some matters are best discussed privately.

This is what Devon did. He said he knew she wasn't saved but yet he still married her. If you're a christian & planning on marrying an unbeliever, you've already set your marriage up for failure. They talked about saving themselves for each other until marriage, but they also admitted in an interview, that they used to share a bed overnight together, pre-marriage, even though they didn't have intercourse. This is still sin. Devon has referred to unsaved people as his mentors and to one unbeliever, as being his guiding light ! This man needs a lot of prayer.

Hi pastor, your testimony is truly inspiring. I ask for prayers for my church. I’m from Yakima, WA. It’s frustrating and discouraging that most of the church members are judgmental and think that the “doctrine” they were initially taught is the right one. I believe that Jesus is the only way and the truth to the Father. No doctrine or any religion can save except for the Lord Jesus Christ. It saddens me that members at my church don’t walk the talk and reject other church members. Idk what else to do…my dad is the pastor there, and I can just imagine what he feels. That is why I ask for prayers for my church. It’s an Hispanic church called “Shaddai’s Temple”. Please pray for us..
