And at the end of the day, if Meaghan was some girl answering the phones and pouring the coffee at Columbia, he would have never given her the time of day or a second look. A pastor who refused to save his own marriage with a wife who didn't want a divorce. 🙄🖐 I'm leery of any man trying to be a movie producer and working closely with Tyler Perry. I wouldn't be surprised if he was on the guest list for Diddy parties. Claims he hadn't been with a woman for 10 years and then wasted 9 years of Meaghans life pretending to be something he isn't.

Every time Devon speaks I learn something new like I'm in church... He serves his life so well, I want to live such a life of truth and authenticity in the Lord. Serving Him always.

Definitely have to “come correct” fashionwise on this show. Tamrons stylist(s) do not play. She looks wonderful everyday. Speaking of wonderful, Devon is amazing ❤. Glad he’s moving forward & healing in a positive manner. His transparency changes lives.

@@BriaBarrows I couldn’t agree more social media has amplified so much toxicity, hatred, and false imaging amongst so many other things. I have personally pulled away from it especially since the passing of my adopted mom along with a heartbreaking breakup all in one. 💔I don’t feel like I’m missing anything and structurally feel it’s important to not have to always be on. Keep things sacred & private, I don’t need the validation, likes, views, nor hearts… 😑🚶🏽♂️😑

It def does take 2 ppl who are committed to maintaining that connection. At some point, they fell off and both said they tried individual and marriage therapy but were unable to reconnect.

What I just witnessed was a man living in an imperfect world while admitting that he himself is imperfect but also pointing out that he follows a PERFECT GOD that has perfect timing! For me this is precious!!!

This was great to have a man speaking truth to how divorce affects their lives. Great questions and great responses; kudos Tamron.
He has helped me so much… met him and he always prayed with me and for me especially when I lost my sister and he remembered. No one is perfect but he’s a good godly man!

Divorce is painful, there is no sugarcoating it. They where unequally yoked. He has a lot of HELP though. As he described.

I was so sad to hear about their divorce. Devon and Megan were such a beautiful couple and they seemed so much in love. I wish they could have worked it out. I wish them both a happy and healthy future. Devon and Megan both seem to be good individuals.

I was sad to hear they were divorcing because I just knew they could sustain the marriage in the midst of anything because of their faith and foundation.

This brother is so humble and loveable. He is always sharing his thoughts & feelings. Many people are not ready for this pure love of self. I hate that they divorced but I actually think he will get the family that he deserves who really adores and appreciates him. He wants a wife and children. His ex in her forties wants fame.

As a woman who divorced only to find out that months later he married his best friend’s ex wife and I considered he my friend/ sister. This really enlightened my heart. Because hurt hurts, but forgiveness was necessary. ❤

Love these pearls of wisdom he revealed: "That pain is a teacher." "Feeling what I feel and not judging." "If we don't feel, we don't reveal." "Allowing myself to feel and not judging." "When we don't hold that no back, we could be speaking against what God is speaking for." All of these words Pastor Devon said so resonated with me!
I want a man like that, not a man who’s so worldly, I have been single and celibate just like Devon was but I surpassed him lol. I’m tired of these men claiming they are so godly but yet they like half naked pics of women. I guess God still working on their flesh 😂 reading the world but like Instagram models. I'm sorry to say this but also many women nowadays want to pray for that 'Godly' man, but not put the work for what it actually means. They want all the benefits and safety comfort of a God fearing man but continue with the same old ways as they were...once you pray for such a thing you have to be ready to fully take it in. He doesn't have a random job, he works for a mission but still adjusted a lot for her in support of her. We can't just ask for men to be accountable, we need to hold women accountable too. She was so butt hurt for being criticized by the Christian community but truly how can you pray for a life and then continue in your old ways, that's not how it works and it's very easy to hide in a victim role, yet he continued to stand by her. They were unequally yoked because she didn't take the effort to further grow...
I really respect Shaunie who you can see how she's fully taken the time to not only grow but stand by her man and his mission. You can see the difference in approach and that she is taken up the full role of what that means.

I wish he would be really honest. Let me tell you something. My sister got divorced, and I was there for her every step of the way. It was times that I felt helpless, ripped apart, and even cried, despite me not being the one getting divorced. I wish people wouldn't dress it up like it's a simple process when it's nothing of the sort. Divorced is truly tearing of one body. This is why God doesn't like it for none of us.
He's not your sister and why can't he grieve his divorce in his own way? And it's really none of your business!

I think they were unequally yoked. I believe Megan is a carnal Christian (based off of her interviews& how she carries herself), and so they probably locked heads regarding things like dressing and tv roles she was accepting. He is what carnal Christians would regard as religious, judgemental, and controlling. In the end, they were both unhappy, him especially because she was doing whatever she wanted as she felt God is okay with it like she continues to say
