For sure, I can't see this doing more for them on Xbox and PC as it is now. Those that didnt' play or wanted to get back to it don't seem to have any real incentive to do so, so they may as well target those that are still willing to jump on.
@ well it’s brilliant, i play it on my iPad or on my phone, the graphics and performance is as good as the one on console, except sometimes the graphics get low and it gets sort of lag, it works good enough
They should realise it on playstation as alot of trophy hunters will be all over this but imo Bethesda should of never sold themselves to Microsoft to begin and the only reason Microsoft bought them was because they didnt want Bethesda to realise it on playstation to begin with
Yeah it doesn’t quite have that magic that makes you wanna just keep exploring and exploring like in Skyrim and Fallout. I think some form of planets overhaul could work. It needs to feel rewarding.
If the game is dead how can a Ps5 version save it from oblivion? It seems a contradiction. But yes, it would sell really, really well on Ps5. Because people want it on Ps5 😅
Well, dead in its current state. I think enough people on PS5 will still buy it to help them get return investment, but with the way it’s been received there is surely less excitement than if it was something like… God of War coming to Xbox, for example. Also this is bigger picture thinking, where Bethesda said they want this game to have a lifespan like Skyrim, but the current game as it stands now doesn’t really have that same magic that keeps people coming back in other Bethesda games - well, that’s what I see anyways. There’s hope though, a lot of people didn’t like FO4 and F74 at launch and look at them today.
Well given that the majority of Bethesda fans have played Skyrim, Oblivion, all the fallout games are all on Playstation because Bethesda used to put their games out on PlayStation. So the majority of the fan base is either PC or Playstation. They lost a bunch of their money when they released only on Xbox. And the PlayStation would run the game much better than the Xbox. Somebody already got the game to work on PlayStation 5 and it ran smoother than the Xbox did. So the most logical thing is to stop only putting it on Xbox and go back to putting it on all the consoles like they used to. This whole console war is just downright stupid.. I would totally buy it on Playstation I would buy the deluxe edition. Especially if they do a PlayStation pro update and haptic feedback update.
Can't see them overhauling it and giving it the "2.0" being an option. The game is flawed from a foundational level, which makes fixing it a lot harder. Gonna have to spend a lot of money to get that right.
Agreed, and that’s why they need to either really double down on the investment or move on. Either which way, putting on PS5 will likely give it a big boost in sales and allow for it to make more money back. Also, it’s kinda funny that if it goes onto PS5 Pro then it will also be the superior console version.
They should just focus on ES6 & Fallout 4. They obviously realize this is a dud which is why Shattered Space was such a crappy DLC cash grab. Anyways their fans want them to just focus on their other 2 franchises lol
I wonder if they might actually get the formula right if they take the Starfield concept over to an MMO like they did with ESO AND F76. Maybe it ends up working out better in that format.
Starfield is literally the most boring game I’ve ever played in my whole entire life like I could go back and play a shitty PS1 game before I play Starfield again
It’s so weird actually. During the times that I’ve played large amounts of the game, I’ve found that if you’re in the right mindset it can feel immersive, and when you’re in the wrong mindset it’s such a slog. One things for sure though, I never felt like that when playing Skyrim
I can appreciate that you don’t want to based on principle but I wound up playing it after Phantom Liberty and the game actually is fun now. So it’s become a successful game either way, and it’s something we were hoping Starfield would do but it seems like Bethesda can’t figure out how to make fun, engaging content with real depth anymore nowadays. Just bland, soulless, paint-by-numbers cliche writing with very boring exploration.
@@whatsgood-reviews you’re comparing games that have been out over a decade to one that’s been out a year. I think you’re a little premature in all of your analysis. Come back in five years.

It's about convenience too. Not having to jump between consoles/PC. Unless you're a kid at home or a super hardcore gamer with lots of money, chances are you have one main capable platform. For a lot of people it's PS5.

Microsoft will buy take two and make gta 6 banned, 2k nba xbox exclusives before starfield ever will be on the ps5.

@SheaHickling-Coates If it hasn't, I doubt it will. Just pay for a month of Gamepass and finish it.
I hope they release a PS5 version. Despite all the criticism I still wanna play.
You’re also gonna play a much better version than the one that most people played at launch too. So there’s that.
i agree xbox people treated skyrim bad and eso bad we playstation people appericate it and made the game bette with reviews
I played it on cloud gaming, the story is pretty boring and the building isn’t as cool as fallout 4, but i quite like it
@ Interesting. We don’t have cloud gaming in our region yet, so tell me… how well did it work out? Don’t you have issues during heavy combat sessions?

I really, really wanna play this on PS5 Pro with updated graphics and performance and dualsense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers support.
I feel fairly sure that you’re gonna be able to. If they did release it on PS5, do you think they’d do it sooner or only in quite a while?
