Oh and the picture he shows - we actually discussed it at my highscool. Its a good example for how you can manipulate people only with the picture you create. Interesting!

Thanks for reaction. You have to consider the time when this was shown (2009). In the meantime nearly 1 Million Syrian Refugues came to Germany; also many Afghan refugues. To some extent also young men that did not share the values of the German society when it comes to religious freedom or equal rights for women. Of course, this generates a lot of tension. Furthermore, it is in the DNA of most religions to be intolerant to other religions. Are there tensions if we have a large influx of foreign people to a society (20% of German inhabitants have a so-called migration background, meaning they or their parents immigrated to Germany) with different cultural and religious background? For sure. Are some news magazines try to exploit this? Of course. Is in terms of integration everything peachy in Germany? Of course not.
Over all, I think Germany is doing fine in terms of human rights and religious freedom (check the Varieties of Democracy (V-DEM) data for scientific information on this.

Democracy did not bring Religious Freedom, Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Movement, Freedom of Arts to Germany. All those rights have been given by the German Empire.
You take the Grundgesetz for example, it wasnt invented in 1947/48 when all of Germany was starving, it derives from 1848/49, after the so-called Revolution. Thats the first so-called Grundgesetz.
1: 95% of Men enter Germany, from all parts of the world.
2: Not all criminal cases involve a "Muslim", most of the cases have been committed by Godless people.
3: Democracy in Germany is not above the rule of law, the basic laws, civil rights and criminal laws.
Democracy in Germany must submit to this.
Thus, issues are created and used to reform Constitution & Civil Rights.
At the same time the public isd radicalized against a specific group/nation: Muslim, Syria, Russian/Christian ect. This can motovate young Men to join the Military for the wrong reasons, against the wrong peoples.
I lived in America for over 10 Years and todays German Politics remind me of US-American politics. 100%.
Human Rights have been declared after the 30 Year war 1648, that was in Mainz-Germany. Thats where the Human Rights come from.
The 2nd Universal Human Rights declaration was made in Germantown-Pennsylvania (USA) in 1688, by German settlers.
So remember, Democracy did not give us Human Rights, Freedom of Press/Speech/Art or even Freedom of Religion.
It was the German Kaiserreich and goes back to the creation of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation in 911, when with the creation of the German Empire, slavery was criminalized and declared as a abomination in the eyes of God.
Dont forget where you come from. 🙂
So in core, Islam is not the enemy.

I wonder why we so often mention other nationalities when it comes to womens rights. Every third day a women is cilled by her partner or ex partner. This can not all be done by people from other countries!! The "oh so free" German women arent really as free.... sadly!!

Would Hagen Rether still say the same thing today? Nobody is killed because of Monty Python in Cologne Cathedral. My former religion teacher even laughed about it. But because of The Satanic Verses, death sentences are passed in the name of Islam. I do think that this small difference is worth noting.

Yes he would, because he is smart enough to seperate religion and human beings failure.
Also whoever believes that there are satanic verses, just proves one has no knowledge about the religion and only goes by others made up bs.

@@tayyarsungur4513 if the human beings reference the religion as cause for their "failures" you can not ignore it. If so many misread the messages you maybe should change the text.

@@tayyarsungur4513 Why do peole always act like this are just some random crazy muslims and these attacks are just some failed crazy people? Mohammed ordered some of his critics like Ka'b ibn al-Ashraf and Asma Bint Marwa to be killed (you can read about these cases in the sira and many authentic hadiths). So they are not crazy but think this is the correct way to be a Muslim like the guy who kille Van Gogh for the movie "the satanic verses"

    • @tayyarsungur4513
      @tayyarsungur4513 หลายเดือนก่อน

@ralfulrich6254 sorry but there is nothing to misread. It's the same with basic laws, you have people who follow the rules and people who don't, it's that simple.
Majority of Muslims are peaceful people, it's just you only hear from the troublemakers only, that's why people have a misplaced view on muslim.
The real problem lies within the culture, which is not represented in Islam.
There are a lot of people committing crimes around the world, but it is only when muslim believed humans do it becomes a matter of religious background.
We Muslims who live peacefully and take care about our daily lifes, can't hear this shit anymore. It's frustrating

This is from 2007. Germany has changed a lot since. Germany was and still is quite tolerant. But this tolerance has been abused badly. Not by all, of course, but by too many. Knife crime has not been heard of back then. The same with gang rapes. Now both happen on a daily base. And the criminals and gang rapists are never Jews or Christians or Buddhist. They are never from Sweden, the Czech Republic or Spain.
    Sad but true.😢
A lot of the first wave of Turkish Muslims from who came in the 60s and 70s have managed to integrate nicely here. They work, they pray, they contribute to society. They came to work in order to have a better live. Big respect for those who made it. And shame on those who come to harm our society.
