I love this album, it is definitely priests heaviest record. I mean I love Rob Halford as much as anybody who loves metal, but the two albums that they did with Ripper Owens are freaking great albums
@@u.s.m.c.fewproudthemarines2987 not AS good, not the same as NOT good. And Rob was featured on plenty of mediocre to bad output. Rocka Rolla? Turbo? Ram it down? Nostradamus? Priest was steadily going downhill throughout the 80s, surpassed by bands like Maiden and Metallica. They found a new freshness with Painkiller , with Jugulator and Demolition rounding out Priest's trifecta of heavy albums. The Rob returned, and they gave us 3 more mediocre albums, followed up by the superlative Firepower. *shrugs*
Its a sad excuse for music, since a decade or two you could as well go buy any souless monotone sounding crap as they all sound the same, like the fraud for music the radio play these days. The "genres" speed, black, church should also stop using and abusing the words metal/hardrock. Btw, fun fact: my brokers name was Eric Nelson ; ) wtf
I don't care what people say but this album is along with the best Priest albums out there like Screaming For Vengence, Painkiller, British Steel etc. And in terms of heavy, this is the most heaviest album
Excellent choice, guys! This is Priest's heaviest album, also my favorite, and simultaneously, the Metal God was doing his genius heavy solo albuns as well. What an era that was... from this same album, Burn in Hell and Blood Stained are mandatory...keep it up!
Should react to Rippers band before Priest - Winters Bane. I suggest the title track Heart Of A Killer or my personal favorite Blink of An Eye. The album, Heart of a Killer tells the story of a serial killer convicted of murder. The Judge during the sentencing hearing has Heart attack and required a Heart transplant and gets the heart of the serial killer he convicted, becoming the killer himself. Fun fact, alot of the shows Winters Bane played back then they would open for a band called British Steel, a Judas Priest cover band. Irony was it was just Winters Bane, under a different name with Tim Owens singing. This is how Scott Travis found him and he ultimately became the vocalist for the real Judas Priest.
I, as a Judas Priest purist, was skeptical when this album was released in 1997 or 1998. I purchased this on CD and took a chance on it. Boy was I blown away to bits! Not only did Tim Owens surpassed Rob Halford, but exceeded him! Underrated album. Tim Owens is right up there with echelons of great vocalists that have graced the earth. You should do a reaction on KK's Priest, Hellfire Thunderbolt. You will not be disappointed.
Tim's a great singer but at this point just a copycat. Doing everything he can to sound like Rob. He does a great job but without any personality of his own vocally. Rob is the original.
This album is one of the best of Priest! Tim Ripper Owens is awesome! If your here a live version of Painkiller with Owens, and then a live version with Halford, you'll see how good is Owens.
I went to see Judas Priest on this tour 2 times. Winters Bane was Tim`s band in the early 90`s. * clear to hear why Ripper was brought into Judas Priest...Brutal singer, ive seen him live during his solo career a few years back..2015.
Omg. I know it’s ripper singing but he killed it on this track 💯.. great priest song 💯. Glad they got the metal “GOD “ Rob Hanford back love to our guy from Ohio to front a legendary band that’s too fucking awesome
@@antoniocarlin5026 Yeah, you're absolutely right. Bruce is my favorite. No ego, just talent. It bothers me that JP even ignores the Tim stuff on Spotify. Then again, Demolition might be there. I have to check. I bought the albums when they first came out.
Great to hear this song again because it's not on Spotify as I teenage boy of the 80's I grew up listening to Judas Priest but had to wait until 2001 to see them live with there first tour of Australia with Tim as lead singer
React to the classics song of Judas Priest - Dreamer Deceiver/Deceiver , Sinner , The Sentinel, Living After Midnigth (Live from the 'Fuel for Life' Tour)
I bought this album on release day, and loved it from the first moment I heard it. Priest have an amazing discography, and I love most of their albums, but the Tim Owens albums are very much neglected within that, and they shouldn't be. "Jugulator" is a classic in my eyes, and I love every song on it. "Feed On Me", "Bullet Train", "Machine Man", and "Dead Meat", are just some of the great songs from Ripper's time, and it would be great to see you reacting to more from his era.
This is the heaviest priest album. Got to be my fav Priest album. This is the one I go back to the most for sure. Check out blood stained from this same album.
That's how I sound when I'm singing in the shower and I slipped on the bar soap and bang my head on granite tile and slam the back of my had on the porcelain tub well the high notes anyway a a h h h!
I’m sure you already got many comments telling you this, this was during the time their singer Rob Halford left and they bring in the new guy Tim “Ripper” Owens. He’s such a badass singer! You should listen to him in one of his first bands he was in, Winters Bane.
It was all the members of priest from the painkiller album minus halford on vocals I think this album and the next with ripper are the heaviest that priest ever recorded
I'll brand myself a heretic and say that the two Ripper Owens albums were better than the first three Halford return albums; especially that plodding bore 'Nostradamus'. 'Demolition' is a killer metal record. I don't understand why people trash it. 'Feed on Me' is the best Metallica song Metallica never wrote.
If you watch the movie "Rock Star" with Mark Walburg.....it is loosely based on Judas Priest during their search for a new lead singer......Tim was the lead singer for a Judas Priest tribute band. Not Rob......but an incredible range in his own right.

Demolition not as gd this album.

@@killerpeaches7 Those are all fricking awesome. Not because you don't like those kinds of metal and rock doesn't mean they are bad.
@@shagstars Yeah Priest has not the obligation to always do the same type of metal over and over. They are all good.
My favorite era of Judas Priest! They got soooooooooo much HEAVIER when Tim "Ripper" Owens joined the band on vocals!
Part of that was them tuning down to accommodate Owen's slightly lower vocal range.
The 'Live Meltdown' album from this time is incredible.
@@RolandDeschain1 No they did IT because IT was the hype of the time.

Guess they were just following that trend.
I love everything on this cd especially Cathedral Spires 😁
They have also reacted to Cathedral Spires, check it out man!

Cathedral Spies is fucking EPIC.
Cathedral Spires is my uncles favourite Ripper Judas Priest song on the Jugulator cd
The chorus alone is tremendous.
Tim Ripper Owens 🤘
Bad Ass!!!!!!!
Great album , great sound , great song !!!!!! I love Ripper Owens !!!!!
Intro silence reminded me of the first time I heard Troubles song Scuse Me. Thought my stereo was effed up. lol
Scott Travis is a monster and Ripper is no slouch.
Tim "Ripper" Owens just soooo great!
I'm so much impressed with your latests videos, many Kiss songs and now Jugulator! Thats great! Also Jugulator is one of my fave Judas Priest albums.
The whole album is pure metal honestly.. Tim Ripper Owens killed it

People shyt on Tim Owens constantly, but he is a great vocalist!
The one and only Scott Travis on percussion
Great reaction!!
Been a Priest since I listened to Stained Class in 1978 at the age of 14. I love me some Tim "Ripper" Owens!!! 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

Exceed is a big word. He was up to the hype tho. But this album is from 97.
Right on. I think Jugulator the album is the BEST Judas Priest album. I remember when it first came out. Tim is a legend and he's a great guy as well.
Tim's a great singer but at this point just a copycat. Doing everything he can to sound like Rob. He does a great job but without any personality of his own vocally. Rob is the original.
That character in the pic, is in fact, the Jugulator. This entire album is heavy and brutal.
This album is one of the best of Priest! Tim Ripper Owens is awesome! If your here a live version of Painkiller with Owens, and then a live version with Halford, you'll see how good is Owens.
I LOVE it! This album has a full-time slot on my playlist.

The movie rock star was about this time in priest and ripper owens taking over on vocals
Loved your expressions to Ripper's vocal acrobatics.
The voice it's a TIM OWENS "THE RIPER'
This entire album is fire! Sadly when Halford came back you'll never hear these songs again!
Which is good. I rather hear Stained Class.
But there are some good songs in this album, like Cathedral Spires.
But now...Ripper and KK are Together...playin classics Priest songs...and the Jugulator songs!! 24 years ago
It's very sad but I don't think Rob can sing these songs.
@@danw4490 Rob can´t and hes don´t want... Same Vince Neil with the songs from Corabi....only Bruce respect the Maiden era with Blaze Bailey ;)

I know this is not a Halford album, but it is my favorite from Judas Priest... Note I love Halford's singing but Tim is killer in this performance!
I just wrote a song called broken broken thanks man couldn't figure out the name I wanted to use
Grip Inc. with Dave Lombardo recommended
Вот это мощь!!!!!!
Tim is one the be(a)st live singer 🤘
You need more Iced Earth in your life, i would recommend the song Wolf. Tim Owens also sang for Iced Earth in the early 2000's.
The Glorious Burden…such a great album! The Gettysburg trilogy gets a lot of play by me, especially every July 1-3.
Now - Blood Stained or Burn In Hell off the same album ;)

Shame that Priest buried this album. It has perhaps the second best song of their career, Burn in Hell.
Hi, new to the channel and not sure if you've reacted to Painkiller or not but if you think this song is heavy, then you need to check it out!
Ripper Owens GOAT
Machine Man video
Un álbum brutal sin pelos en la lengua Owens hizo olvidar un poco al maestro Rob Halford
Tim rippers owens..great voice...
Also Halford bands Fight and Halford.
The Jugular album is Judas Priest's best album, in my opinion.
Heart of a Killer is Owens band???
Now check out HELLRIDER FROM THE PRIEST KICK ASS SONG
House of Lords '' Love don't lie '' a suggestion
When I first heard this in 97 I thought JP what is going on.. Gd tour to. I paid only $17 for JP
Could you do a reaction video for Burn in Hell please???
Bullet Train from the previous record

U gotta listen to Cathedral Spires from the same album.
burn in hell is best song for ripper a much listen
Right away you know it isn't Rob Halford! Doesn't even sound like Priest.
i dont think anybody on the planet right now can come close to Tim's vocals! poeple just can not sign like that anymore!
Jugulator 1 then Demolition 2
Great album. Ripper is awesome. It really sucks that Halford refuses to sing songs from this era. Get over yourself "metal god"
Chroming Rose Louis XIV great Song Speed Power Metal from Germany 1999
1990. But yeah, masterpiece. Tatatatá!!!!

'Demolition' is a killer metal record. I don't understand why people trash it. 'Feed on Me' is the best Metallica song Metallica never wrote.
I think it's Priest's worst album due to the fact that it doesn't know what it what's to be. There's some good tracks but everything else is terrible.
Tim Ripper Owens is still the best raw talent ever in metal.
Ripper did a good job with his time with priest but you don't replace the metal god

This album strongest shit evah. Hope u gonna listen Bullet Train
Do ATROPHY punishment for all
This song gets more whack the more years it ages.

Definitely not one of there best. I’m definitely not a fan of Industial Metal.
And this isn't even the best song on the album.
