So getting a wound also means you are shaken right? So on that second round the lion was supposed to do a vigor roll?

Yes, getting a wound means the character is also shaken. On their next turn, they need to make a Spirit roll to remove the shaken condition (they can also spend a benny if that roll fails). If there is an error, thank you for pointing it out.
