Many, many pastors should hear this. I think some of this is demonic though and they are deceived in some way. Even some pastors don't understand the spiritual world nor the work of satan! Ephesians 6:12 is what comes to mind.

Years ago, as soon as I heard of the term 'woke' and saw the application, I immediately thought of 2nd Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." and 3:7 "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." It's simply the unrighteous pretending to be righteous. Fight the lies of the devil! God Bless

It doesn't say wives are to be slaves. You left out the part, telling husbands to love their wives, like Christ loved the church. Jesus gave his life for the church. Women aren't called to sacrifice themselves for their husbands. Please understand when you take God's word out of context, you can say anything.

This makes so much sense and solves a mystery for me. Recently I decided I should take my children to church both so that they can be saved and so that they can grow up with an unchanging objective moral standard handed to us by God. So we set out to find one. But each one we visited didn't sound like the Church I remember and grew up with.... but instead sounded like Susan in my HR department... Woke. At first I couldn't understand it. Why were all the churches around me preaching things that were outside of the Bible, and oftentimes even antithetical to the Bible? And now I understand better why, thanks for the very very informative explanation.
it all starts at home anyway , I stopped going several years ago after I had tried out a lot of local churches for decades .I was hungry for the meat of the word and the more I learned and studied scripture on my own the more I realized how much the church twisted and left out. The path is narrow and the body is scattered , I'm thankful for fellowship finders and many online ministries trying to guard Gods words. The churches preaching contradictions are also wondering why people are leaving and many times assume its because people have turned away from their faith but I left the church because of my faith in Gods word and the church was contradicting the very words of our salvation and giving people false hope through man made doctrine. I can also see why people leave because they cant justify the contradictions being presented and may give up on God because the church itself is a stumbling block in faith when they don't preach the truth , the people that stay just want to be a part of the masses , the community , mans doctrine and traditions , they aren't really getting to know Gods word and what he has to say for himself, they are blindly going along on the broad path and don't even realize it. They call themselves Christians ,they call themselves his but they take his name in vain keeping the ways of this world and not Gods. And I was just like them , until I actively repented and turned and sought a personal relationship with God , I had to stop listing to what the world said about him and start to hear what he has to say for himself through his word , our redeemer , salvation and messiah , Jesus .
Seems to me we will have to be our own "church." I found the same thing. The people and the administrators at numerous churches in my area are TOO liberal accepting all forms of sin. They also almost immediately shunned us. Myself, my daughter and grand daughter! 3 girls in this world! Because we couldnt make it to every Sunday service, yet all others, especially WednesdayS. Not accepting the requirements that too many of us have to work many hours just to get by in todays America. Most of them filthy rich and not a shred of empathy for others. We gave up after 5 "churches" in 5 years. Sad. We are told to come together with our brethren but thats just about impossible in the America of today. Almighty God Help Us, Amen.

We haven't found a church but after decades of flirting with atheism/agnosticism I've been reading the Bible out loud to my kids each night. I figured they'd probably grow tired of it after a few nights... but we are on day 40 and each night they request it. So I'd have to agree with your opening, "It all starts at home anyway."

So insightful. It is actually what makes me cry out to Jesus to not let His church be deceived and deceive others. Thankfully, my church is not letting Wokeness in. But, I am horrified almost daily by what is happening to the Church. We have failed and are affirming people in their sins instead of leading them out of their sins. Jesus is sufficient and our identity is only in Him.

This is the best message I've ever heard concerning the "woke" social justice and critical race theory walking into the Church as a whole.

God turns people loose to their own deviancy and the consequences. He'll wipe them off the map if it keeps happening. The unconditional love gospel was never real but many want it.
I have never thought of being woke as a religion, but the description fits.
We need more pastors with courage to live up to their calling and preach this in their churches. People are being lead astray, Churches are becoming corrupted. We have to actively fight evil if we love the good.
I agree completely. There is so much that has happened in my life that may not have had I been taught more than (the devil lives under the earth In hell and be good or that's where you will go). More than the love of God but also of His sovereignty and rule. That He expects us to be obedient. Even though I still struggle with that unfortunately. I'm sorry I am having a hard time trying to put into words what I want to say. I guess what I want to say is that if the whole truth of God was taught instead of picking and choosing some things could maybe have been avoided.
One thing that really got me is when churches were shutting down during covid because the government says so. They have the say as to where or when we meet for church.
Its easier to Deceive someone then it is to Convince someone there being deceived.

Unfortunately denouncing the woke Gospel is not enough. We need preachers who understand this and the true Gospel of Christ, which includes the deity of Christ! I would encourage you to listen to preachers like Voddie Baucham who actually wrote the book on this subject of wokeness and the church, Fault Lines. We must both tear down lofty arguments without abandoning the core essentials of the faith.

Fortunately I live in a State where our governor passed a law against the use of "woke" words.
I used to belong to one of those churches. I got tired of being chided for daring to be Caucasian. That church used to be one of the largest, most vital Baptist churches in my hometown. It’s so very sad.

It breaks my heart that this is happening to my beloved church of almost 20 years. It seemed gradual but then all at once. The first sign was the lack of preaching against abortion when the Planned Parenthood opened across the street. Then I heard the reason that happened was at least 20% of the congregation was pro the killing of babies. So disturbing. My heart breaks still and I left before the pandemic. I miss my old church in the old broken down building.
So they could have got the 20%+ plus to walk and stop the metastasis but chose to embrace it? Seems none of them believed much contrary to PP, or in truth generally.

Great preaching on this channel. Makes me want to find a good Faithful Church to attend. Unfortunately I can't drive and even if I could the Churches this side of my state are fulled with woke heretics.
I would attempt to reach out to a Bible believing and teaching church in your area and connect personally with the pastor and find yourself a ride. We must fellowship with one another as is commanded in the scriptures. I will be praying for you in moving forward in faith with this.
Yes, Sola Scriptura! Even if you can’t find a church, find a few friends or coworkers and start a home church. Church is the people, not a building! Pray for God’s help, he won’t deny it.
If you cannot find a local reformed church ( generally Reformed baptist align to sola scriptura, you can check their beliefs to confirm), then at least you can possibly connect on lign. So many churches live stream now. God bless and keep you til the the time of our Lords return. Shalom

Excellent Lecture- explains Wokeism, at last. My ‘Church’ is Bible based, does not hold to Woke thinking nor will we cave to coercion but hold onto the Truth of the Gospel.
Unless your in an Orthodox Church with their bible, it’s been curupted and books have been removed by governments. Your Bible should have the original 81 books if less, it’s not the ‘correct’ Bible

From what I've seen of this WOKE in the church even within my own family is these folks feel they are actually improving on the bible's teaching and Jesus!!!! One person in my family is completely alarming with this madness, it's kind of like they are going to out Jesus, Jesus. They are being taught it's only about love so love is applied to everything...they love each others sins!!!!
I confirm this message. I have interviewed hundreds of 'elders' across this country and his message is exactly what I see in their 'leadership' efforts. I've yet to even meet one time in all these interviews a single 'elder' who has picked up the Bible to study it for themselves; if this is how the leaders act, how much worse off are the parishioners? We need serious revival according to what God calls us to do in the church: lead our parishioners into 5 layers of leadership.

I've heard 1,000s of times and know the woke side but never understood what the word meant. Or why they would call it that as for me awake means knowing what's going on and why. To me they are plain asleep and being drug into darkness proven by there mental illness and hostility towards anyone not believing the lie. I know Yeshua is coming so soon so I don't worry about things I can't change until God impowers me. Soon He will pour out His spirit on all His people and His servants will do greater works than He.
