Hello! I’m also a military wife and retired educator. I met my husband in Charleston. I lived west of the Ashley and he on Sullivan’s Island. He retired after twenty-two years and worked for the government another twenty-two! Our middle child is currently active duty as well as two nephews. My husband and son are Navy, one nephew is Army, and the other is Air Force! I learned about counted cross stitch from a neighbor while living in Charleston, and I’ve been doing it for about 46 years. Of course there were chunks of time where I did not and did other things, but I always came back to it!Enjoyed seeing what you’re doing, but show your patterns a little bit longer.
I have a great suggestion for a book club if you like books set in Charleston, The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy. The movie was horrible but the book was amazing. I grew up in Charleston and moved to Wisconsin when I was 13 in 1990. Great first video!
Welcome to floss tube. Really enjoyed your first video. I am a mother of 6 boys, all of them are now grown and either married or out on there own with there girlfriend. I only have 3 grandkids just got my 3rd last year. I just got back into cross during the pandemic, now I have fallen down the rabbit hole. I probably have between 20-30 WHIP,s and I have lost count on how many patterns. I am also a quilter but lately I’ve been more into my cross stitch and loving every minute. I liked and subscribed, can’t wait for your next video❤
Hello love and envious at the same time , my daughter who cross stitches is in AZ so can’t sit and stitch with her but also a military wife with two girls . I really believe you need to be so strong , love it after 9 years my husband got out and we became college students , wish we had stayed in . Love your stitching really love your find can’t wait to visit again

Enjoyed your video. I love Charleston, such a wonderful place to visit. I grew up in SC, North Myrtle Beach, but moved to Florida over 30 years ago. Some of my favorite authors are Dorothea Benton Frank and Anne Rivers Siddons. Enjoy reading Low Country stories. And I will not read or watch anything scary either !! Look forward to more videos.
