I just got the Harbor Freight BlackWidow trigger airbrush it goes for $70 and comes with the route and fan cap with two needle sizes. The Spectrum BlackWidow stuff from them seems to be a pretty good quality (based on the much more common HVLP and HTE spray guns) where people are using them in professional applications. But I just learned about Creos today and plan on getting one instead of the Iwata Elicipse, now wondering if I should return the black widow for the 290 or not, found this video but still not a comparison.
I have the ps290. Great airbrush. I had to replace the screw on the trigger before because it fell off and the carpet monster ate it. Other than that, it sprays really good.
Great video Rob, where you would use them to get more paint down I would need them to get less paint down, they would be handy for blow-ins or priming small cut throughs, they would have been handy for me when I was making mobile storage racks out of 25mm box steel for my 1:5 scale petrol RC cars👌👍
You will love it 👍just keep the fan cap clean and be careful when you take the nozzle off the front they are very small 😉 blast it through with a good cleaner and your good to go enjoy
Been looking at this type of brush for my model ships. But still not sure as to which one. My De Vilbiss 380 is too much for this job. Maybe you could help my choice, here? The hulls are between 800mm to 1.5mtr long and up to approximately 250mm high. The rattle cans, can be troublesome. Interesting video. Thanks.
Great review! It would honestly be annoying to spray with a middle gap line! On the sparmax! Or did I I just imagine a gap in between the fan pattern? Was impressed with the cheaper one 👊🏽👍🏽
I realise they are tmeant to lay down paint but, can they do fine ? It looks like the creos did some fine lines but you didn't seem to try the other two
😊😊 Great vid mukka as you know I've got the 290 supplied by our good friend and fellow sub mr extremely portly JC great guy awesome gift I agree with your comments about it 👏👏👏👏

Great vid , i've go the Iwata Hi-line kustom PH had it years and comes in handy for very localised paint jobs where a mini gun won't quite do it.
Nice brush 👌 totally agree with you perfect for small stuff

I ordered the GSI Creos ps 290 literally hours before this was posted.

Hi Rob, I've had the ps290 for a few years and bought a larger cup, well worth it. Just curious whether the sparmax cup fits the ps290 brush?
Hi the sparmax cup has a bigger thread its the same as a mini gun 🔫
Good review. Thanks. Was considering all 3 of those brushes but being a H&S fanboy I'm gonna have to go with the Colani.
H&s rock 👍that's one brush I always fancied having a go with

That size of project I would use a mini gun the devilbiss dv1s on a 01mm setup would be perfect for that as you can run low psi
Thanks MAN ! ✅

It did spray with a gap 😳 the spot cap works great 👍 when it comes to the fan just drop your overlap in and it's good

They can get fine but they are meant for bigger spray patterns really I would say the creos is best for the fan pattern
👍👍👍👍👍
