    Got the ps 290 as you know as a gift from jc another one of your subs and he also sent the larger cup 😊😊 but if I was in need of a trigger action brush I would seriously consider one of these , thanks for sharing this vid 👊👊👊

    Interesting video Rob, I think this is just what I need for doing little blow-ins when I get a cut through to metal and sometimes when I do a flowcoat I cut through the basecoat. I've just painted a panel and it got a 3 inch scratch down the middle of it so I think this would be ideal🤔 I do have a small cheap airbrush but it's not really up to the bigger jobs I need it for.
    Tell you what mate you should take this brush into work and show us if it will do one of your fenders in the booth😬I think it would do it but you would be there a while😂

    If the fan cap is put on at a 45°angle it fixes the missing paint in the middle of the spray pattern

    I was looking at the Paasche Talon 3 head set airbrush for doing a large piece or a mural.. but seeing you use that sparmax and how good it lays the paint down ... I've decided that would be better especially for the cup size, ease and cost of getting new parts.. and for the price the sparmax its a no brainer.

    can you please do a comparison vedio if thats possible? like the new swallowtail and grex , and ps290. just to know if they work with the fan cap .i think people will pay more money as long as the product work. its just too much risk in first buying them and then finding out they are no good.

    I'm glad that you did this review. I got one in addition to my airbrushes to touch-up my car and for my cosplay props. That said, I'd still like to use this to lay down basecoats on my model kits. Can you recommend the size of the compressor suitable for something like this?

    hey i got the same problem ,i got i couple of years ago to paint pc cabinet and ended up geting same problem , the fn sray pattern is not solid it is missing alot of paint in middle . its like painting 2 adjacent blobs of paint ..ended up using a cheap mini spray gun,had to use workshop compressor for higher cfm requirements.
    what could be the problem ? i tried all different psi ,,different thinning ratios, but no difference!! i gues its due to extreme small holes on the fan that u can even clean 😂.

    What tip would give a 1 inch fan size with a thick paint ?

    • @dredfxcustompaint
      @dredfxcustompaint 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would say this gun can do it on the 0.5mm but you have to thin the paint if you wanted to spray a thicker paint I would go mini spray gun
      And bring the fan in

    Nice A-B only a pitty they still use that mini nozzle type instead of that bigger nozzle like the H&S,Gaahleri etc. These small tiny nozzles are not got to handle when you got thick sausage fingers like me and they snap off to fast.

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      you can pull the head off these and not remove the nozzle from the head in most cases.
      When you do need to pull a nozzle i suggest a nozzle removal tool which makes removing those tiny nozzles go much more smoothly with less risk of breaking one.

      @@TheAIRspace Ok thanks for that info. Don t use those A-B,s just because that tiny nozzle and did not know there was a tool for it. Make it change my mind a bit. It seems to be a good A-B for bigger surfaces.

      completely different class of airbrush. The minigun is more fluid and fan volume than any of the other fan airbrushes other than the th2.
      Honestly the gp850 and almost all of them aside from the Minigun, procon boy and the iwata th suffer from lack of fluid volume. Which is what is causing the split pattern.
