I really love Beverly she tells it straight and when she gets her eyes on you you’re gonna be in the hot seat. She always makes me laugh when she comes on the show. It’s never a dull moment when she comes on.

I found it irony that lots of people hate Leonard’s mother because of her insensitivity. But she’s identical to Sheldon. I don't see how Sheldons mom as portrayed in TBBT and YS are reconcilable as the same person. Namely that TBBT implies that she was a very strict mother who was willing to use corporal punishment, while in YS she was portrayed as coddling and let him get away with anything.
The last scene shows Beverly hugging Leonard but if the scene played a little more it would have shown Leonard slightly pulling away cause he didn't want any awkwardness should Beverly have pulled away first, but instead Beverly pulls Leonard in for a loving & meaningful hug Leonard probably yearned for all his life.
