My wife is an absolute legend! As a wee surprise she bought me Jedi Survivor. It was a lovely gesture but I had to tell her that it's PS5 only and not PS4. I felt awful BUT she then said 'would it work on this?' and then brings a PS5 into the living room!! Legend! ❤

I like how BD-1 changes where he chills out depending on what cal’s wearing, say for instance if your wearing the wanderer jacket BD-1 will chill in the backpack as opposed to if the tactical jacket is worn BD will sit slightly higher up on cal’s shoulder so he doesn’t obstruct the cape
Love the banter between the npcs. It fleshes out each world and humanizes them.

Its just incredible how greez summs up the entire dylema of Cals story. "... You have to know when to walk away from a rigged game." It's not about winning... Its survival. It's a hilariously uneven playing field for Cal. He is stacking bodies but they can always be replaced and yet the people he loses are ireplaceble. He was and is everything but ready for the task ahead of him. We have to remember that he is not Luke skywalker he is but a lost padawan trying to play the shitties hand that has been given to him. And seeing that doubt and fear he is dealing with putting everything he has into his mission and still not making any change... Its heartbreaking. And that is.. awesome

Been waiting for a game movie in full for days, and it's finally here. Cal really is leaning in towards a gray Jedi Path than before. The fact that this takes place in the same timeline as Kenobi really shows that the Path's determined to get Jedi to safety.

there is no such thing as a grey jedi, and i wish that idea would just die already. Time and time again in every story we are shown that you can't just use the dark side without consequences. There is no such thing as "using the dark side for good".
totally agree! wish the movies/tv shows would lean into a gray force user concept a little more-- it's a very interesting concept that hasn't been explored as much as i'd personally love to see.

I really prefer to play than watch a full game online. But I think a lot of games aren’t worth my money at $70 and still have tech issues needed to be fixed later. Like even last gen. The arrogance of devs and publishers. But ultimately we are the fools if we buy day one especially after we do our due diligence and know ahead of time all the tech issues despite gameplay may be great.

Level 2046 was awesome. So glad to see a Star Wars media explore the lower levels of Coruscant, the seedy underside of the capital. If only SWTOR had Survivor's story-telling and level of detail...

Just finished the game and it was awesome, badass, and a complete godsend. The writers outdid themselves. There were moments I felt like starkiller when taking on crowd of stormtroopers

Into the final hour of watching this on and off for almost a month and I must say, this story is 10/10
Minus the few hiccups the game had at launch this is definitely an improvement over the last game and I cant wait for what they have next

single stance: a basic all rounder combat style.
double bladed: really good for reflecting blaster shots.
duel wield (my personal favorite): quick attacks and an autoblock that uses force. good for pressure.
cross guard: slow, but heavy-hitting. really putting the "knight" in his Jedi title.
blaster stance: "thinking quickly, Cal just shoots the enemy, since guns work and are the most effective means of self-defense."
This has game of the year potential. Really great story telling and combat mechanics!

All the bugs and glitches aside, this is one of the best Star Wars stories ever.
It’s just bugs and glitches. No big deal. Let’s just overlook tech issues that can ruin the experience no matter how bad other issues effect the overall game. I pay $70 for even better experience than ps4. If the devs can get their shit right. Then I will take much lower resolution and way less focus on graphics over a lock 60 fps.

@@Ravenslittlenest well this is respawn fault. I am tired of Ea getting the blame when respawn should insist EA don’t cannibalize this franchise. Respawn in my opinion should have the clout with how successful apex legends seem to be to refuse releasing jedi survivor until it’s ready.
This yr in my opinion has saved me a lot of money cause the games so far have been trash tech and gameplay wise. No excuse respawn let this tech issue happen again after jedi fallen order.
The story was pretty good in jedi survivor with very good to great gameplay seen on this Channel. But I refuse to play a choppy frame rate game like this that must be steady with parry windows that can ruin the experience like it somewhat did with jedi fallen order.
I played old digital games and ps plus games so far this yr and only RE 4 remake I bought day one. It was very good but I think RE franchise is getting tired. I use to love RE series from day one especially RE2 my favorite. But the remakes are just wearing out it’s welcome. I watched RE 7 and village on probably this channel. I just think the new content is just ok.

I was getting nauseous just looking at it. Like I said, the game being super unpolished after this happen on fallen order and this one delayed make me disgusted and I didn’t pay for it. The sheer comments on this channel ignoring the tech issues are disturbing with now $70 like it’s nothing.

From what I’ve heard, they’re making a trilogy.
Keep in mind kids, this guy isn't playing and running his account alone. He has multiple streamers at the time while other one playing other ones watching gameplay tutorial from another streamer so they know exactly what to do each situation and never get stuck in game. This is the main squeeze why their stream is so strict and fluent and they bybass so many games so easily and fast.

I have only a couple of Nitpicks.
1. I get frustrated with Merrin.
Bode seems like a peer. He has a few abilities, hes fun to hang around. You work together.
Merrin just seems to be there to constantly remind you youre not as cool as she is.
Hey I have to overcome this Jump Puzzle. Oh look Merrins teleported up there to wait on me. Yawning optional.
I have to squeeze through this wall, oh look Merrins teleported in front to watch me play catch up.
I offer to help Merrin get on the mount. She doesnt need it.
Oh look, some rubble in the way, I'll just use the Force...
Nope. Merrins gotta magically rewind time for me.
I could fight a drill machine. Nope.
Merrin flies me around everywhere like a literal force marionette.

2. Since when can you send messages in Hyperspace? Theyve started doing it a lot but I remember before you had to drop out of hyperspace to send comms. Maybe Im nuts.
3. I love all the new aliens, but does anyone think. Oh, another big bulbous alien creature. Thats original. Between Doma, Phili, The lady that calls you sojourner in the saloon. And several others...

As I understand it (and it’s entirely possible I don’t) that hyperspace is basically Star Wars equivalent of Star Trek’s subspace. That is to say it’s an extra dimensional plane that facilitates faster than light yadda yadda and makes it so it doesn’t take hundreds of years to get anything done in space.

Oh man! I knew it was gonna happen! But when Bode betrays you it still hurt, as well as Cere dying fighting Darth Vader. That's how you make a game, get the player invested in the story, even if you know the twist you still get shocked when it happens!
This was a good game. The levels can get a little exhausting, but overall a good experience. I can't wait for the next one.
From the moment Bode betrays them, that is when the game really excels, especially with Cal's force abilities. That was great!

just finished Survivor and I can say that the first game, Fallen Order, felt so much better!
this one is decent also (poorly optimized for now although) but everything was 100 times better in Fallen Order: unique npcs lines "The interloper seeks to divide us", encountering Darth Vader was insane, boss fights were actually more difficult as they should be and many more.
so if you're new to Star Wars, just play Fallen Order; you're gonna love it.
p.s: if Survivor was my first star wars game, I would definitely not consider to play other star wars games

Yeah so far something feels off about this one compared to Fallen Order. Not sure if it’s the gameplay, art style, story…. Maybe none of these…. Maybe all of these. But something isn’t hitting that same spot fallen order did.

When you get the Fellowship Perk, at a Meditation point Equip it, Rest and you'll receive another health stim, unequip it and re equip your normal perks the stim remains, just rince repeat each time you lose the extra stim.
If only we could play an awesome game like this with our own customized character of our choosing.

Just got this masterpiece! Gamepass pays off sometimes 😅. Appreciate you making this video as I've come to this more than once, the game is brilliantly challenging, the story is perfect and keeps me motivated to continue, it'll be hard surpass survivor but hope they'll try.
Will there be a third game after this? I have some feeling there will be.

My 6 year old wanted Jedi survivor. But unfortunately we only had the Xbox one s series at the time. So my oldest son of 20 year old bought his little brother Jedi fallen order, and told him once he beat it he would buy him Jedi survivor. He never really expected him to beat it so fast. Thinking we’d have 6 months till Christmas to get him the new Xbox. My 6 year old beat the game within 2 months. So obviously we got him a new system and the game for xmas. Here it is not even a month from Xmas and he’s already halfway through the game. He really is an amazing kid.

TBF very happy with Merrin and Cal hugging by the campfire. But i've just been hyped up by reddit on that front, dk if it's acc a good mix
koboh is amazing. you can just wake up one day and think… do i wanna go take a swim in the springs or revisit the old separatetist ship? or maybe take a visit up to the summit and check out the forest array after? so many opportunities and adventures in this game.
