Mi Band does NOT have gps sensor. Mi Band 3 nfc cannot be used in EU to payments (for now?). Bip can show gps coordinates and it can log route to .gpx .tcx files. This is HUGE difference. And I'm swimming wigh my bip once in a week and nothing wrong so far.
Any difference between the 2 when it comes to continuous heart rate measurement(do any of these have it?). Also, in exercise mode like the one we have on mi band 3. Does the heart rate measurement become continuous?
the Amazfit bip is not considered a smart watch either :D it is a fitness tracker. It is just made to look like a smartwatch and it has some smartwatch features, just like the mi band 3
@@maxroman2010 no in mi fit app if you try to connect bip it will ask you which device but you can't choose fitness tracker, you should choose smartwatch to connect to bip. So bip is a smartwatch.

A couple more of (major) differences: the Bip has a barometer/altimeter and has a transreflective screen which is awesome in outdoor light

Just what i was looking for! just a quick question which is more comfortable to wear when sleeping? I would imagine the Amazefit because its thin?

Can it it be set to 12 Hour time ⌚ or does it only support 24 Hour?
Both, you have to install a face that has 12 or 24 hours format.

Hi Dan, what is the vibration like on these? I primarily need a smart watch to use as a 'silent' alarm.
They both vibrate and I think you can change the intensity. The Mi band 3 is a bit stronger though
