In my opinion running the fan on a separate battery is for speed runs as you would want NOTHING else taking away power from the run. In regular runs just remember that after low voltage esc cut that the fan will be still pulling power from the battery
How long of a run time do you get from a Game Changer fan with that 1300mah battery? Also, does it have low voltage detection? Or will it kill batteries if left plugged in too long? Thank you.

Well at the time my finger being sliced open with no affect on the blade other than GINSU TYPE KNIFE feel . . . . YES I THOUGHT they were metal😂🤣😂🤣 but alas they are just a VERY STRONG plastic that doesn't seem break with all the CRASHING that I've recently been doing

I was wondering that very same thing you did, hooking up the fan to a 4S lipo. Have you ran into any issues running the fan on 4S? How long do you run your fans on 4S, before risking burning out the fan? I have some of those fans, and I've been itching to rum them on 4S.
Ok so i got a new battery a 5400mah 50c 2s lipo is it ok if paired with a 60a esc absolute noob here i just dont want to cook the power system cheers in advance

Just picked up 5 fans from AliExpress. Testing one on 4s in my outcast 4s. So far running strong on 4s. I'm coming straight off the esc battery lead! These are rated 7 volt to 13.8 volts! I think they can take 24 volts! They jus get under rated! I read on someone else's page,a guy has been running these fans for 2 years no problems😉
@@rcguygarage I'm seeing other fans not as tall just as powerful. No amp rating on them just a watt rating, .78, 1.72, 1.89! The higher the better! I'll be experimenting soon. I will keep all informed! Made my own adapter plate for the max 8 in my outcast 4s. About 15 $ for a 6'' × 12'' sheet of aluminum and 10$ for other stuff and about 3 hours and job done, No blood is a plus!

Well Game changer fans are exactly that. Maybe if i had some of those on my Associated rc10's i wouldnt have sent the esc's into total meltdown, lol. Those thing on 4s have to be moving 500 cfm to the motors, at least.

seems like the mic is on our right side atleast I heard a noticeable difference while using ear buds during the 2s to 3s comparison but that 4s test had me feeling like the guy in the old "maxell" commercial lol damn near blew me back off my chair! Thanks for the demo i will no doubt be picking up a couple diff configurations of these fans ASAP as they do seem to be exactly what I've been in search of after a coupld of cooked esc's/motors so far this summer. Glad I got to see these in action as I have been running yeah racing or power hobby dual fans which are ok but at the price point these "game changers" seem to be a no brainer for a few more dollars. Ill be sure not to install these during some late night installs in my draws when they arrive thats for sure😳
I wish it came with screws instead of zip ties. Hey Guy have you tried that powerhobby duel fan? I put one on my kraton and its super powerful. A little pricey at 20$ but I like them. Edit: wow these are 55$? Check out the powerhobby that has duel fans and a heatsink for 20$ and really powerful.
Right but these are I'm thinking on a different level of cooling. Only one fan is being used. The $55 would be halved in that case to about $28 comes with screen zip ties and screws

Wellllll one of my units looks to have a metal sheen underneath🤣😂🤣😂 and my finger sure did Z think it was made from metal🤣😂🤣😂 either way the fan blades are extremely durable and no do not stick your finger in the blades

Wired either way you still pull power whether taking from red or black. I prefer red as it gives the user the sight of positive and negative normal wire setup.
Did you know that these fans are just computer fans rebranded an you guys just keep trying to push game changer not cool my k8 has two plane Jane computer fans with their housings they came with an my motor runs at 1o7 30 min bash 6800 120c
RC Guy Garage much agreed as we have been in this hobby for many years. There are always people that do not have the knowledge or means on how to solder. It’s good to know that they can pre-wire the fans upon ordering.

Depending on usage careful with 3d cause the repeated impact shock may delaminate the layers

If not a GOLIATH then I'd use ZIPPIE TIES and double stick tape and or some kind of 3M DUAL-LOCK with ZIP TIE. Possibly strap down to chassis

Theoretically yes cause the fan will only draw 0.6 amp from a supply of 12

Overall it self balanced as it only draws from the balance port while real power is drawn from the main leads for running

I dont believe Ive notice an appreciable difference as its pulling power from two packs possibly balancing the discharge.

If you run anything beyond what the seller specs the fan to be you run the risk. I run mine @4s but I'm taking that risk knowing that. Runs mint

Yes you can because it's still only going to pull 3s power but you have to cut the plug or get the appropriate adapter from game changer
