Hi! This is my first time knitting a sweater and I found your video is so helpful for me. However I have one question, I follow your pattern and I knit size S, when I move to the body part and finish the rib your pattern did not mention adding more sts. And in your video, you added 6 sts more. So I wonder what should I do in this case? Thanks a lot!
Have you released a video that teaches how to deal with a colour pattern that does not fit the number of stitches on the needle. You mentioned this in the advanced section part 2 of your lopapeysa tutorial but I can not find the video.
I have a question. In this video you say to add stitches after you complete the ribbing for the body. In the pattern that is not mentioned. I am knitting a size Small and have 132 stitches cast on. Can you please confirm which is the correct instruction before I move forward?
That’s right! 132sts for size S. Sometimes patterns have this increase in number after the rib part to have it slightly tighter, but it is also ok with the same number, but smaller needles 😊
I have some question, in the joining section, so you put 9 st aside on st.holder or thread, then you knit the rest of st in sleeve and continue with body then sleeve then body? This I didn't get it very clearly, sorry.
I´m planning to upload the pattern with moose, but together with it I need a tutorial on how to join it properly with sleeves which also have the pattern. One more question. As I am looking at this closer, my stitch count won’t add up. I have 50 stitches on each sleeve and 132 on the body totaling 232 stitches. Per the written pattern, it says the total number of stitches for size small should only be 200 (232 is for the largest size). Help!

Hello. Great tutorial. I have a problem though. When I connect the sleeves and the body on the 80cm needles, I find it difficult to knit around the sleeve areas because of the armhole stitches that keep the needles together, and those stitches are very stretched ( the armhole ones ) . I am enjoying knitting your pattern, but I have just come to review your video and I realize the pattern I downloaded is different from what you are doing on here! On my pattern, there is no step to increase 6 stitches evenly after the bottom rib band on the body! I have already knit the body without those increases. Did the pattern get changed or was it somehow omitted in my copy?
My concern is now getting to the yoke, the pattern may be off. However, interestingly, the number of stitches is correct! You say I should have 208 when sleeves are joined to body to start the yoke and that is the number that I have. The 208 divides evenly into the 8 stitch pattern repeat, so it looks like I will be fine. I'm just confused by the difference in my pattern and yours! 😅 Am I doing it right? I hope so.
