John Lennon ? So far before their time. I grew up with the Beatles, I was 17 when the album Help came out and went to see it in Doncaster, where I was training to be a gunner in the Tank Regiment. The Beatles are IMHO the best band ever, then perhaps Pink Floyd for me. To hear such young musicians paying tribute to John Lennon really is special for me. What a writer, singer and songwriter. I’ve loved watching Ellen and her Dad with their amazing relationship and her fearlessness and hunger to play. Charlotte is equally amazing. She shreds on guitar and is so poised and we’ll spoken. Kudos to some amazing parents!

Ellen giving away Hovak's age, was so funny. We also had to play the Recorder back in the 60's when I was in Grade School. Ours were just a basic black plastic recorder. Our parents had to buy them for us. They did not cost much, because all schools were doing this, and there were probably millions of them being made. Definitely could spot the kids that were tone-deaf. I eventually worked my way into playing the Coronet in Grade School and High School. Hopefully we can hear these two young ladies play some music together someday.
I just now ran across some videos of Charlotte from age 12. What an amazing talent. I have also ran across videos of the nine yearl old boy and his band. I have to admit the kids who make up your band are incredible. Wow! So much talent!

My father was a jazz guitar player who did gigs and club dates with Billie Holiday and many others. Your playing Ellen is so great to hear. Your dad’s instruction seems so kind, perfect for you and knowledgeable. He is an impressive, masterful guitar player as you know of course. Just want to say congratulations on the beginning of your life in music. You will go so far. Charlotte is very smart and calm to answer questions. She is very mature, I didn't know of her. Great to see new talents especially at such young age. Ellen is just so adorable and sweet. And very smart to answer as well. But one thing I'd like to know is, what other activities do they do? Because it looks like it's music all day, which is great for their growth, but do they do other silly activities like playing with a dog, biking, play with dolls, watch TV, things like that?
I think these young ladies ard really amazing, not just their abilities, but their willingness to work, learn,, and apply repetition. It can be hard at times to keep the "fire" burning, so I found learning something new would get the creative juices flowing. Good luck in both of your futures, I'll be watching for you!💜
To Dad, your kid is awesome. I stumbled on this channel recently and am truly impressed. It is so refreshing to see someone who values learning an instrument and not just making noise on a computer. Ellen is so amazingly technical and innovative. Watching her play, seeing her movement with the music tells me this is definitely not a toy for her but an extension or her being. She will take the bass to new levels and excel. Keep rocking Ellen and you will be one of the greats. She has great idols....

6:11 Young female guitarists are so inspiring. Nearly 50 years ago, I went to a Norton Buffalo concert in Sacramento, California. Bonnie Raitt was the opening act. She blew me away with her mad guitar skills.

These two up and coming talented girlls are being steered the right way by thier patents introducing them to older music that great musicians drew thier influences from. Ellen always astounds me and this is the first time seeing Charlotte. Her musical maturity and playing at 13 is remarkable and 👍👍for her guitar influences. 🎸🤩💫
One of her top five guitarists is John Lennon. I absolutely love that. He is not a guitarist who is usually in someone’s top five. Though he was not flashy, and didn’t possess great technical prowess, he certainly used his guitar to write some great material that will last forever. And his rhythm guitar playing was excellent.
I don't think you two will have much trouble finding another kid about your same ages to play drums. Just promise when you do to make more youTube videos of you playing together. And thanks again for another delightful video. You make me remember what joy it was to start playing music when I was 9. I saw the movie "A Hard Days Night" and Ringo (and The Beatles) was all it took. I After that drums were all I could think about.

Watching Ellen play makes my day. Playing is one thing, but her joy of it, tops it all. Have you tried Moody Blues on her? Seems like they have some interesting bass.
6:11 Young female guitarists are so inspiring. Nearly 50 years ago, I went to a Norton Buffalo concert in Sacramento, California. Bonnie Raitt was the opening act. She blew me away with her mad guitar skills.
I loved Norton Buffalo back in the day. His music flowed. Another Day is a favorite. Bonnie Raitt has always been incredible.
Such bright and talented young ladies. So cool that Charlotte mentions School of Rock. I saw it in theaters when I was about her age, so it's great that the younger generation still likes it and gets inspired by it.

Hovak, being around those girls is going to keep you young (along with playing rock and roll). They are also such fine examples of the good type of young people that never get headlines but really makes the world go 'round. Thank you all for sharing yourselves.
These two up and coming talented girlls are being steered the right way by thier patents introducing them to older music that great musicians drew thier influences from. Ellen always astounds me and this is the first time seeing Charlotte. Her musical maturity and playing at 13 is remarkable and 👍👍for her guitar influences. 🎸🤩💫
One of her top five guitarists is John Lennon. I absolutely love that. He is not a guitarist who is usually in someone’s top five. Though he was not flashy, and didn’t possess great technical prowess, he certainly used his guitar to write some great material that will last forever. And his rhythm guitar playing was excellent.

And thanks again for another delightful video. You make me remember what joy it was to start playing music when I was 9. I saw the movie "A Hard Days Night" and Ringo (and The Beatles) was all it took. I After that drums were all I could think about.

I am watching YT out of order and was not aware of just a much a fan of The Beatles Ellen is and makes me sad that my Beatles knowledge is so limitted .I made the comment earlier that I did not even know Blackbird was a Beatles tune until I heard Ellen sing it,lol .
Growing up I was not a Beatles fan,my favourites were Olivia Newton John and John Farnham .
