I was lucky to hurt my back last week hauling log splitter and wood. I’m couch potato since and discovered you, Hovak and Ellen. I love your site. I watch many half hour clips everyday. Makes my day. I play piano all my life since 7. Now 78 and you are such a Joy to watch and listen to - the Q&A and bass lessons and life lessons. All the best you all!!!
Ellen giving away Hovak's age, was so funny. We also had to play the Recorder back in the 60's when I was in Grade School. Ours were just a basic black plastic recorder. Our parents had to buy them for us. They did not cost much, because all schools were doing this, and there were probably millions of them being made. Definitely could spot the kids that were tone-deaf. I eventually worked my way into playing the Coronet in Grade School and High School. Hopefully we can hear these two young ladies play some music together someday.

Just want to say congratulations on the beginning of your life in music. You will go so far. One of her top five guitarists is John Lennon. I absolutely love that. He is not a guitarist who is usually in someone’s top five. Though he was not flashy, and didn’t possess great technical prowess, he certainly used his guitar to write some great material that will last forever. And his rhythm guitar playing was excellent.

I don't think you two will have much trouble finding another kid about your same ages to play drums. Just promise when you do to make more youTube videos of you playing together. And thanks again for another delightful video. You make me remember what joy it was to start playing music when I was 9. I saw the movie "A Hard Days Night" and Ringo (and The Beatles) was all it took. I After that drums were all I could think about.

I am watching YT out of order and was not aware of just a much a fan of The Beatles Ellen is and makes me sad that my Beatles knowledge is so limitted .I made the comment earlier that I did not even know Blackbird was a Beatles tune until I heard Ellen sing it,lol . Growing up I was not a Beatles fan,my favourites were Olivia Newton John and John Farnham .
What these prodigies have in common is that they are mature and very intelligent. They're just on a different level than other kids. As a parent, I would take it easy on them and let them be just kids.

6:11 Young female guitarists are so inspiring. Nearly 50 years ago, I went to a Norton Buffalo concert in Sacramento, California. Bonnie Raitt was the opening act. She blew me away with her mad guitar skills.
I loved Norton Buffalo back in the day. His music flowed. Another Day is a favorite. Bonnie Raitt has always been incredible.

Two very awesome young talents
One of her top five guitarists is John Lennon. I absolutely love that. He is not a guitarist who is usually in someone’s top five. Though he was not flashy, and didn’t possess great technical prowess, he certainly used his guitar to write some great material that will last forever. And his rhythm guitar playing was excellent.
It’s great to see such wunderful young ladies grow up! Musically and … you name it!
It is impressive to see two such mature young ladies in this format.
Ellie can’t help but to smile when she talks, I feel like Adults can learn a lot from kids about not sweating the small stuff, & not taking life so seriously.

I am watching YT out of order and was not aware of just a much a fan of The Beatles Ellen is and makes me sad that my Beatles knowledge is so limitted .I made the comment earlier that I did not even know Blackbird was a Beatles tune until I heard Ellen sing it,lol .
Growing up I was not a Beatles fan,my favourites were Olivia Newton John and John Farnham .
Great interview what I can't wait for is to see this band that is formed with these girls I can predict will be one of the most awesome bands around.

What these prodigies have in common is that they are mature and very intelligent. They're just on a different level than other kids. As a parent, I would take it easy on them and let them be just kids.

All endearing. Fun stuff. Cool to hear Ellen has ties to Armenia. I was just talking about my love for Aram Khachaturian and Tigran Hamasyan. (Very different styles and times, but Armenia apparently has a particular flavor.)

Oh Ellen, knowing 5 Beatles songs might be a real high hurdle for the people of your generation, luckily I'm old enough to be grown up with Beatles music. Nevertheless, what really makes the world instantly a better place is your smile. You girls rock and you can change the world to something better.
