Thank you for your research into the 'lying flat' problem. I have a couple of WIPs and this will be next very soon. Lovely designs; you are very generous share them with us.
LIKE~~ This is a video that makes me feel better just by watching❤️❤️❤️. Thank you for a really good video😍😍😍. My daughter loves this video too😆😆😆. Thank you for making a great video💗💗. I hope to be a good friend and sharing good information 👍👍👍.
Your nail art pretty awesome :) Love this pattern. Great work. Thank you mam. I am crochet lover and i'll try this pattern for my next home decor project.
Love this pattern and video... but I think in the video there is a mistake on the start of round 6, as after the 3 chain stitch it says do a double crochet into the next 2 stitches but there is only 1 stitch available? ...in the written pattern on row 6 it does say do only one double crochet into the next stitch... Once I'd sorted that out its a great pattern... Many thanks
@@CrochetNutsTutorials My finished star blanket both lays flat and the points are straight - no pulling to one side. I was four cakes into my “other” Star pattern, muttering the whole time about the points pulling and not laying flat. I frogged it and found your pattern. I started over and am so glad I did. The blanket turned out lovely. Thank you again for your pattern.
Ooops I did start round one as a UK treble even though I tried to check as you stitched but was difficult here. In my comfort zone with your accent with me being British too perhaps? It would be nice have the difference pointed out at the start as some do but I do like your calmness and like trying your tutorials.
In other star tutorials that I have used it recommended that on every third row you should only place two double in the point of the star instead of four, so I did that for this pattern. I was just wondering did everyone here do four the whole time? Because mine buckled and I had to frog it, just wanted to know if it was user error and if I start over again and do four on all rounds that I shouldn't have a problem. PLEASE HELP
The star will not buckle if you follow the instructions on this video, by changing it you ended up with a buckled blanket. Not sure why you would change the instructions given? Happy crafting
Yes it's so easy isn't it and you can pause as many times as you need to, also can slow the video down. You can buy this written pattern on ravelry too www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/my-8-point-star-blanket
if you hold that needle slightly differerently ,those nails wont get in the way. I have natural long nails and i have no probs with crocheting in saying that I do like the way you're describing it all ..:)
I am more than happy with the way I hold my hook (not sure what you meant by my needle) and please don't concern yourself about my nails, they really don't get in my way at all. Have a great day and remember .... Be Kind!
There is a liittle cog for settings on the video, click this and then click speed, you can slow the video down to a speed that you can work with :) Usually .75 is good but you could even go down to half speed on .5
Trying to keep up and having to pause. Then her nails clacking and at the 7 min 45 second mark when she says 1 DC 2 DC... I quit. Is it supposed tk be DC or 2 DC in the same space? Very annoying to have wasted my time. I wish people would do a written pattern as well as video. To be able to reference.
Hmmm there is a written pattern www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/my-8-point-star-blanket. The instructions saying dc means one dc, then 2dc actually means work 2 dc! Not sure what your problem is though, and that's why there is a pause option so you can catch up. No one else has had a problem with the video. Maybe start with a simple design first before working on a bigger project? Happy crafting 😀
As a beginner I found your nails too colourful and a distraction and covered the stitches somewhat. The picture was also a bit blurry and the crochet too fast, had to keep pausing. I persevered though and produced a nice mandala.
Stella Jones really? She’s putting in her time to teach us something for FREE!! Why pick her apart. If her nails distract you, go watch someone else. I found her nails beautiful to look at and marveled at the fact that she can crochet with such long nails. Don’t be such a negative Nancy, your comment was simply rude!

Hi
Love the pattern. Thank you. Did you give the name of the yarn?
Thank you for a lay flat pattern.
You’re welcome 😊

Hi thank you for your tutorial, just watching you now, wondering how many balls of yarns are needed or length is needed to complete.
It depends how big you want the finished blanket, for a baby I use 2 or 3 100 g balls, but made a massive one that took 10 x 100g
www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/my-8-point-star-blanket .... written downloadable pattern

Thank you, I do state in the description that the terms are US, but I will also say so on future videos, enjoy your crochet :)
Gracias

Is there a way to make a square around the star?
You can fill in the v shapes to have straight edges but I am not sure that making a full square is possible once the blanket is bigger.
Do you have a written pattern for this?

Would you also have a pattern for the 8 point star baby blanket completed with a shell edging?
Very beautiful i like you man dala very much creat some more videos as circular pattern
Trying hard but needs to pause more, cannot see where next steps are very clearly.

Beautiful blanket ! But your hands are in the way and your nails are too decorated, it’s distracting.
Rude!
