I think it is a good small sized speaker. If you want it to shake the house and blast this is not going to be that loud. However, it is good sounding and loud enough for sitting by the poolside, using it in the bathroom and putting it on the bathroom counter for shower music, taking it to the beach etc. It is a decent personal sized speaker. If you are looking for a really loud, ass kicking, bass booming one then I suggest the Zealot P8
