    I started this TH-cam channel to originally show some firearms I had purchased and experiment with making a TH-cam channel. I have since moved to doing actual tabletop reviews of firearms to help people out that are looking into new firearms to purchase. The channel has since expanded to include Video game streams that I thought might be entertaining and funny to watch.
    The channel continues with this format today and is also used as a way to experiment different digital media and video editing ideas for my current job and to document my journey as a digital media designer and firearms enthusiast.
    The goal is to help viewers learn more about firearms, help viewers in their decisions in what to buy, and to learn from my viewers as well.

    Nice update. I recently purchased my second p30sk which came with one 15rd and two 12rd mags. The 12rd mags had pinky extensions attached with a flush plate in the box. Interestingly, when compared to my older 10rd mags, with pinky extension, they look exactly the same. So it looks like HK is trying to address the low mag capacity problem everyone hates. I can't find these 12rd mags on retail sites yet but I hope to soon.

      Just bought my first HK today (HK P30sk hammer-fired). I guess flat mags won't work for avg adult male hand? I like pinky mag but it does increase vertical print a bit compared to flat.

    Slavinatorski- heads up, if you swap the follower and base plate from a 15 to 17 full size P30 upgrade magazine kit, your 10 rounder (flat base plate) will magically become a 12 rounder.....13 counting the one in the tube

      just saw you also have a 30L with 17rd mags.....you can swap out the follower and baseplate from the 17 to the 10 to make it a 12.

    Picked up a hk p30l lem, love it. I own a sig p365 and yes the capacity is good. But it's very much a compromise. It doesn't feel like I'm holding a real gun 🤣 although it has its place.
    When I hold and shoot a Hk vp9 or p30, it's like ,yeah now this is the real deal...👍

    • @Slavinatorski

      I completely understand that feeling, it's the same on my end as well. You actually have something to hold onto with the HK and it feels great in hand as well.

    Good video. I have two of these. A v1 (LEM) with the glow sights and a v3 (no safety, DA/SA) with factory night sights. The 10 rd capacity doesn’t really bother me. I just carry a spare 13rd USPc mag and it gives me peace of mind. I find the P30SK a great option for folks like me who are not completely comfortable appendix carrying a striker.

    Nice review! I just picked this firearm up myself and look forward to going to the range.
    Latest and greatest isn’t always best. I’ve owned several of the micro compacts and yes they are a dream to carry but not all that fun to shoot. Plus I think HK quality crushes them all.
    Keep up the good work and stay safe out there.

    Nice recap, HKs are built like tanks. Had one and got rid of it for the VPSK. Trigger is different depending on the model you get. That single action though... I definately agree with you on the capacity, I think we've been spoiled by the micro compacts that are being released now.👍 as always.

    I have the DA/SA version, no safety, from Langdon Tactical. I'd challenge you to find a smaller, lighter pistol in DA/SA - that's where this firearm really shines. I also have a P365 and a P365XL Spectre that I carry - yeah, smaller, and much thinner and lighter - but both striker-fired. I updated my P30 SK mags so they now hold 12 flush. Great gun.

    Good video. I ordered one Saturday. I can't wait to get it. I'm curious how that holster looks while it is on. Is that an outside the belt or inside? If it's outside how do you conceal with that? Thanks again. I ordered this same gun but with the 13 and 15 round mags.

  • @deaneng8540
    @deaneng8540 28 วันที่ผ่านมา

    excellent review. Don't like the low capacity on those mags. Seems for the size of the gun it should hold more in the mag' rather than getting bigger mags. I think HK is coming out with higher capacity mags I heard. Also, for CCW I don't like the 3lb 3.7lb pull a little light for me. Also, the reset seems way forward. Other than that I hear it's a great gun!

    This will be my first HK..actually I want the P30. But its role will be fall/winter carry, range, HD if need be whatever…all purpose in other words. I’ll keep my P365X for spring/summer carry.

      I have both the P30SK and the P365X as well. The Sig is just so much smaller in every dimension - The two guns aren't even in the same category (compact vs subcompact by 2023 standards). But I think they're the best in their respective categories.

      Idk man, I hate that LEM reset.
      It's also too chunky for IWB.
      I can carry a Sig P365XL or Glock 43x & get the same capacity in a smaller, lighter gun that is optics ready, costs less & dosen't have a 17 mile reset on it.
      I'm glad you have one that you love, I just don't think these are for everyone.

    • @rtucker1004
      @rtucker1004 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @PewPew I completely agree that the P30SK is chunky. I'm 6'3" with XL glove-sized hands. I tried the Sig and Glock ypu mention, but they were too small, and I was over gripping.
      I've since added the Graygun trigger reset seer and their flat trigger, which cut reset by 50% while keeping the trigger forward for my long finger.
      Also, I removed the wedge not long after adding it to my holster. I am happy to report that I lost a lot of weight, so there's no belly fat pushing on the grip to muzzle my junk. Carrying AIWB was a good inspiration to get on the treadmill!

      Not at all, I actually prefer the additional option of having one. I found that it was just high enough to not bother my hand at all. If you have hands larger than mine, you could run into those issues, I think. I wear XL gloves.

      @@Slavinatorski awesome, good to know thank you! Do you ride it with your right hand thumb in your full firing grip?

    • @Slavinatorski
      @Slavinatorski  ปีที่แล้ว

      @Bryans Journal I don't, my right thumb rests on top of my left thumb when shooting, so there's enough space where I'm not sitting on it. I've heard that there are concerns about accidently activating the safety while firing, but that never happened for me. If you get a chance to see one at a local gun show or shop, see if they will let you get hands-on with it. It's surprisingly comfortable for a small pistol.
