@kyivindependent - Your "shorts" format video uploaded 7 hours ago (same title as here), it doesn't look like it made it into the YT "shorts" category, it's recommended like a normal video. I notice it's 1:00 long. I think that's the problem, and that it should be no more than 0:59 long, max. Maybe make them only 0:57 long, just to be sure. It's made for the "shorts" kategory, then you wish it to be recommended in that category on smartphones.
Thanks for excellt reports! Cheers from Denmark. Slava Ukraini!
Best wishes to the Ukrainian people. God bless all of you and keep you safe.
Thank you!
Bless the old lady , she has a heart of gold.

Nice story but you can't win a war like that.
@@Withnail1969 you win war with munitions and heavy weapons the West doesn't provide,so many Ukrainians helps one way or another , it's called helping defending Ukraine legal ground against Muscovian unwanted genocide invasion. Are you a sociopath ?
Good wish to you and Ukrainian people 🙏🙏🙏
Many thanks!

My body started to recognize when the power is cut and wakes me up to go relocate cold packs from freezer to fridge. I’m guessing it feels the wifi waves silence, because the neighboring businesses don’t operate at night and so their generators don’t turn on. Plus I wake up when the power starts up again too. Anyways it it very handy.
😯 I had never heard of anything like that happening before... I understand waking up when the power comes back on, that's happened to me too after a powercut, but waking up when the power *goes out* really is impressive.
My first, foolish thought when I read your comment was, "Oh no, this person's sleep must be really disrupted", before it occurred to me that the greatest disruption probably comes from the constant threat of shelling 🤬

I adore the resilience of the ukrainian people while here in the peaceful west I hear about „agony“ of the privileged people. Slava Ukraini 🇪🇺🇺🇦
Great report. Thank you for sharing
Peace to Ukraine!

The Ukrainian people are very resilient. I speak with several each week in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and some small towns. Their attitudes are simply amazing. They not only deal with the daily struggles we have (ex. Sales quotas, deadlines, and family); but, they have scheduled blackouts and invaders in their country. In Texas we suffered a few days of power outages during a freeze a couple of years ago and you don’t realize how important electricity is until you don’t have it. Ukrainians have been dealing with this for a long time with persistent grace.
If you’re a native English speaker and would like to learn more about Ukraine and its people consider volunteering with ENGin. It costs nothing but a commitment of time which is a small price to pay to help Ukraine be victorious.
Another perfect documentary again.
Thank you for these kind words!

Came back on Monday evening from Kyiv, I wasn't bothered about the air sirens and drone attacks, but the blackouts omfg walking up 11 flights of stairs. I couldn't get used to
Yes, it's a struggle :(
Try 20+ floors with groceries 😄
@christinekhariv noooooooooooooooo my friend lives on 22nd floor but thank god the lifts worked
@@davidarcher5770We're on the 23rd, but that's still merely a nuisance.
On the other hand, we have a neighbour just one floor below who has to use crutches, so he can't go out or back home during a power cut. I think of him (and our soldiers of course) whenever I feel like complaining.
@christinekhariv very true it's very hard on the elderly and people who are in wheelchairs and crutches, I met a wonderful man while I was there he had one arm and one leg but he was so thankful to be alive ,shows the wonderful spirit of Ukrainian people
Nice vide
Thanks!
It's very sad 😢
No, it’s very inspiring . It’s moscovia thats a very sad thing and so is most of the western world in its current state . Ukraine is the most inspiring place on earth right now .
@@concretejungle9608 I pray to the God this war will stop as soon as possible 🙏
To all decent peoples of the world, support Ukraine, stand with Ukraine.
Will homes and apartments be ready for winter? I guess there is time to get wood stoves and generators.
Where I live, in northern Norway, a blackout during winter can be deadly if it lasts for enough time for isolation to get cold. During summer its no problem, but its obviously destructive to companies and industry, and thus it will effect people gravely in the long run. Hopefully UA will get further civil assist when it comes to power. Is it possible to create power relay from Europe in high enough amounts to cover UA completely?
👍👍👍
🥺
I am alongside Ukraine since the start of this genocide, and I am more and more convinced that Ukraine will be one day a beacon and the spring of our decaying western democraties , we must all help Ukraine ,each with our means, ir will mayne save us......also... Slava Ukraini
🇺🇦👍💐🥲
Man this now feels like London during the blitz
🇺🇦Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦
Time to leave. If I can get a flight to Pennsylvania, I can get you a good job.
I feel bad, you are low on power...
It is because of what Ukrainians chose. Ukraine shall be Ukraine. They are not belonging to the West Europe. Stand alone.

How important is NATO membership to that old lady?
The worst not yet come😅😅😅
it's crazy that people choose to have children during a war.
Perhaps if Ukraine stopped firing drones at Russia's energy infrastructure they wouldn't fire missiles at Ukraine's.
Perhaps if russia stopped war and occupation of UKRAINIAN territories Ukraine wouldn't fire russian energy infrastructure
IF THERE IS ONE PLACE ON EARTH I DONT WANMT TO GO BACK IS KYIV one of the most corrupte cities on the planet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You Will asks 🍷🍷drunken Boris Jonson 😂😂😂 he knows well😅😅😅😅😅
Speaking as someone who detests BJ... he didn't start this war, and he's not the one ordering the shelling of Ukraine on a regular basis: putin's doing that.
So where is the so call sophisticated American Air defense system and the variety of all the intelligence of the Western countries
Is this a statement or a question?
Ukraine is finished 😭😭😭😭
Long term policy!
Nope
Wtf are you talking about? They are fighting like lions, while having a shortage of people and weapons , and instead of support you write such a discourageful comment!
You could use a better reporter!!
She was great. What's wrong with you?
more crying 😂😂😂😂😂😂
WTF is wrong with you? These people didn't anything wrong to you.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@user-od1pe2ip2n What if it was your town, your family, your life? If even you have one.
Actually, more examples of dignity and resilience from ordinary Ukrainians coping daily with russia's idiotic brutality. Even the one person who was crying - unsurprisingly, given her circumstances - was making supplies for the army at the same time
