friend of mine has a Kleemann tuned 820-850 hp (1400 nm) CLS 63 AMG fucking crazy car! he claims it easy does 370 km/h (230 mph) maby more. Love Mercedes, love AMG and love the guys who tune them Renntech, Kleemann, Carlsson, Brabus. just to name a few.
That's ok, my e55 got called the "grandpa car" A LOT.. until it outran the shit talkers, and never had any major issues other than chewing up rear tires at a high rate lol
The Panamera Turbo S is a brilliant car, and if you need the AWD to get through your winters where you live, a great choice. But it's $174,000 (base) and $197,000 (as tested). The CLS63, even with the RennTech upgrades, is less than $140,000 and far more exciting to drive.
neighbor has a 750whp cls63 amg. i thought its just wrapped in blue and bsically stock. but today before going out he asked me about my ls460 nd asked me what im pushing cuz it looks mean. i laughed and said its stock just bagged prolly pushing around 300whp. i asked him how much his merc is pushing and he told told me he dynod at 750whp. he told me his boy has ls460 pushing 500whp supercharged nd told me he can get me a hook up i told em ima prolly get rid of the ls for the new rc f. idk wtf he does. never working. up until 5am. prolly races or something. he has a bunch of mini bikes and a s2000 pushing 350whp. guys fucken crazy.

And the cars wrapped in a gerying blueish with the spoiler wrapped black. Not my style but it looks good. the cla was fisrt wrapped matte blue and when he sold it it was wrapped matte orange.

Mercedes' gearboxes are one of the smoothest shifting transmissions I've ever drove. I wouldn't want it any other way. The auto and paddle shifters are awesome on these cars.
I'm getting a good laugh out of these comments. It was Labor Day. You know what I did? Me, my size 0 girlfriend, and my friends took the new Shelby GT500 to Vegas, the long way. We stopped at the track for a few laps and some drifting, then went to Lotus of Siam, the best rated Thai restaurant in the country. We cruised the strip in the Shelby, met some fans, then went to the bar and got drunk, before winning money at blackjack. You wrote 10 comments on a TH-cam video calling me fat. I win.
That to me says "street legal" but not "streetable." I've never driven, but ridden in a 1,500 HP muscle car, and it was a total handful that required 100% concentration at all times. Certainly not something I could actually enjoy beyond pulling into a gas station and telling people it had that much power.

Hate to break it to you, but that gap is there from the factory. The nose and hood haven't been touched on this car, just the splitter on the bottom. I thought the same thing when we drove it, but they had another stock CLS there and it was the same.
When we tried to discuss filming with UGR, the short version is they were the first tuning company we spoke to who was actually rude to us. Everyone else has been very nice, regardless of what we've said about their cars.
furthermore, if there are elevation changes in the road, I can use the arrows to identify exactly how far the cop is ahead or behind me as I crest hills and the signal changes. You can only do this kind of analysis with a V1, and because of that, I can spot, with nearly 100% accuracy, where the cops actually are and how they are moving.
The Supra was a 15 year old car, and it was an original part that failed, not part of the aftermarket kit. This is a brand new car, and people who are upgrading $120,000 Mercedes expect a certain level of reliability that, if it were compromised, they would be out of business right quick. Having said that, if it's the modifications that bother you, I'd still rather have a stock CLS63 than a Panamera Turbo.
Just picked up my 2016 Midnight CLS63C4S with 7k miles :) Not even broken in yet. I'm considering the Renntech carbon fiber spoiler and diffuser. I'll do a stage 2 after 10k miles. Thanks for the inspiration :)
RAUH-Welt is actually just a body shop. Their 25k kits only consist of body panels, either SSR or Work wheel, and you're pretty much left with a stock 911. Every Rauh Welt build is tuned by another shop.
ahem, before yo get all high and mighty, you might want to check some facts too. The ZR1 uses the same carbon ceramic brakes from the Enzo, but Ferrari uses the GM magnetic ride control shocks from the ZR1 in the 458 and the FF.
see, when I get a weak signal from behind, I don't slow down, I speed up to get away from the signal before he identifies which car it is. That way I'm not sitting there at 55 just waiting for the cop to catch up to me. If it's behind me and not close enough to make direct eye contact, I just get the hell out of there. Without arrows, I wouldn't know to do that.
The GTR's amazing straight line performance has much more to do with the transmission and differential than it does just power and weight. The transmission shifts much faster in the GTR than the Mercedes, and it can get a significantly better launch.
+Rock, i agree that it is not worth it.I'm thinking of either going with tthe e350 coupe because it comes with an awd. In 2012 and then doing an engine swap with an e63 amg engine to get the V8 power plant as a starting point and base to modify or......... just switch to an Infiniti ,G37s with the awd in the coupe of course and add some Bigg Twin Turbos going for an output of at least 520 hp to the ground. Im just not sure if I'm going to modify both coupes yet. I test drove the G37s this past week and didn't love it but im use to driving the e550 .... so the V6 G37s wasn't good enough for me...but with the 300+ hp increase. Plus torque and an air suspension upgrade -complete with rims, tires, and brakes.... it should be awesome.
So with the passport, how do you know where the cop is shooting the radar from? Oh wait, you don't, because you don't have arrows. Therefore you only have half the information you need. The 9500 does not jam laser unless you add another $500 (optional) laser jammer.

WIthout them, you might as well have a little bird on the dash chirping at you. If you don't have the arrows, you only have half the information you need. You do not respond the same way to an alert if the cop is behind you rather than ahead of you, and you NEED to know that information. Valentine has it, others dont. Game over.
