Fun fact: In some 1870s - 1910s homes that originally used gas lighting, the gas piping was re-purposed as conduit for running conductors to the new fangled electric light, I don't know that this practice was ever a recognized wiring method but it certainly made for a less expensive and more seamless transition to electricity as it became increasingly available in major cities and suburbs. Metal conduit with threaded fittings was born out of black iron pipe used for gas lighting.
Your absolutely right. Here in NYC, I've lived in these older prewar homes that had gas lines used for gas lighting and the gas pipes were utilized for conduit for the electrical wiring throughout the house which was really clever and i bet it was costly.
There is a building on base that has a HEMP Shield. The people installing it used pvc plumbing 90s and the C.O.E. accepted it. Watching them pull wire was comical.
Mike Holt are you safe in Florida we hear there is a massive Hurricane over there called Helene. People are losing their homes evacuating. It started September 30. Were from California. Be safe!
Just purchased your electrical Exam Preparation. Been along time coming to get my E2. Been set back 4 full years on registration. Done twice the requirement. Some say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush what BS. You’ve gotta have two birds in the hand in this industry. Have been struggling to pass the test hopefully your exam prep makes the difference for me. Contractors can be such system abusers, it pains me to give them the satisfaction and not be able to pass.
Currently I’ve gotten a 60, 65, and a 68.7 the last time I missed it by one question. At least I haven’t ever blown it entirely just a little rough around the edges. Every time I am very well rounded just seem to fall for all the traps

We are all good, thank you for caring. God Bless, Mike
Those pipes running across under the panels look sketchy to me. Are they encroaching on electrical space?
No, read 110.26

Proper power application: nuclear power plant for every device!
That box on the ground only contained a 1/4” poly tube for the fountains bubbler. Bunch of snotty whiners!🤣
