I love it when people post their movie collections because then I get ideas on what I need to buy. There's always something that I see and think "Oh, I didn't know that was out on blu-ray or 4K!" Great video, Pete! Can't wait to see the rest!
Another great time touring the collection. Thanks, Pete. Looking forward to see what is covered next. Can you share the information about the boxes shown in last week and maybe in the future in which you store your 'closet' CDs? Starting to run out of room here and deciding what to do next. Thanks, Pete.
Wow Pete you gotta be proud of that killer collection too! And I thought I had a huge collection of quality movies especially horror! You still got me beat on cds of course, but I see alot of my collection (over 3 thousand) in your collection.
🌠Wow ! what a collection !! u've got me beat !!! not that its a competition..So much stuff that its falling off the SHELF..ALL THE DAMN TIME !!!!!! Ha ha ha⭐ must be the capricorn way...
Amazing video. So much fun. Pete, a question if you'll allow: did you see Gore Verbinski's A Cure for Wellness? Starring, among others, Mia Goth and Jason Isaacs. For me, it is one of the most underrated and visually spectacular horror films of the last 20 years.
Pumpkinhead is a great revenge tale with Lance Henriksen from the late 80s. Directed by Stan Winston the legendary horror movie FX dude responsible for so much greatness in horror cinema. Pumpkinhead gets 5 out of 5 stars.
“Invader’s from Mars” had to e one of the creepiest films ever, sleepless nights😂 Another from that same time period was “The Angry Red Planet” Very interesting clip Pete.
Super stellar collection. I have maybe 1/4th of everything shown. 😂 Slowly building up to what you have one day. Also, you gotta get Sleepaway Camp 2&3! I noticed you don’t have them. They’re out of print now, so they go for a decent amount on eBay. Such great sequels.
Pete!!!! The original Pardoner has been gone?!!! ( I’m back ) any way can we get you n CHRIS to do a history of The SCORPIONS?!!?( 72-82 🙏) your videos of PRIEST/MAIDEN are timeless and I’ve always lumped the SCORPS to make the HEAVY METAL 3 …your videos are ☝️🙏👍😢😍
The 'scenery porn' that many people have been awaiting and seeing Pete's erudition/acumen is always awesome. Definitely a nice variety of companies. The Spiral Staircase has a blu ray. Awesome.
Always am proud personally when a shout out goes to four of my all time favorites “carnival of souls”, “magic”, “let’s scare jessica to death” and “the little girl who lives down the lane”
Great collection. 2 notes that amused me: 300 in the Ts and not at the beginning. (That's where I keep my #'s) Also, one TMNT movie. I don't know why I found that amusing.
@@martymartin2894 There are so many great scenes in that film whether it's the son being dragged by an invisible force across the kitchen floor early in the film or the cameraman looking in the mirror and peeling off his face (or seeing his chicken infested with maggots) to the bombastic climax... cinema verite.
Pete: Do you own the Japanese version of House that was released by Criterion? It's quite a trip - really indescribable. It's not scary but definitely worth checking out. Another comment mentioned Lucio Fulci's The Beyond. That title is said to be getting a 4K release. I believe it's supposed to be coming sometime this year.
Hellraiser and Hellraiser II are classics. Watch them this weekend if you've never seen them. Mandatory viewing, you have no choice in the matter. I personally enjoy Hellraiser III from 1992 but was panned by critics and moviegoers (don't listen to them) and you'll see the mighty band from LA Armored Saint! The fourth one on were all thrown together schlock that pale in comparison (though watchable). Your suffering will be legendary....... even in Hell.
This was amazing. Lots of stuff I gotta look into. Annoyingly I never got a region-free player so I'm missing lots of great movies like "Peeping Tom" that never came out here. I should just buy one of those. You should get the Mondo Vision set of "Possession." One of the coolest things I own. Also didn't notice "Solaris" and "Stalker" from Tarkovsky, unless they're still to come? Those movies are insanely good.
A movie I do not recommend is the 2012 Blumhouse joint called Dark Skies that I rewatched one weekend 3 weeks ago. I meant to grab "The Fourth Kind" with Milla Jovovich 😃 but grabbed the wrong DVD. (I'm still an analog DVD/VHS kinda guy) Too lazy to take it out but there is a lot wrong with that flick. The aliens were given zero care in the FX department whenever they did make an appearance but to me was a highly ineffectual flick that should have been a lot better since it was a decent budget major studio thing.
Great collection, you actually had a lot more newer films than I expected. If you get a chance check out a 2022 under the radar movie called "Feed Me". Manages to be both funny and disgusting.
Is Body Parts the one with Jeff Frahey where he loses his arm in a car accident, and gets a new one that's possessed by a serial killer? "Terrible but enjoyable" is my favorite type of movie. People say that every Elm Street past part 3 is terrible, but I still enjoyable. Interesting that, as I was typing my comment, I heard you say Eaten Alive. Robert Englund is in that movie. To me, Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch is underrated. I do actually like all those movies, but it would have been interesting if they continued with the original intent of turning the Halloween series into an anthology. Do you actually watch Green Lantern? I tried to watch it once, but I fell asleep
@@sotdude7 Killer. I think that Jeff Fahey is an underrated actor. Sure, he did Lawnmover Man, but I kinda like that movie. It's cool that you have Maniac Cop. I used to have a DVD copy that my friend gave me. I also like Body Parts because Brad Dourif is in it

A perfect mix of old school and new stuff! I love it👍❤
The Changeling, outstanding ! One of my favorites
Thank you, Pete for taking your time to show your great movie collection !!
I really enjoyed it.
All the damn time.
🎤🎸🎵🎹🥁
Life is better with music.
PETE/ an absolute mind boggling collection. Tremendous 👍💯
There are so many of those old 30s/40s/50s horror films I need to watch.
Great collection Pete, love Dark night of the Scarecrow.
Haha, just watched Carnaval of Souls this Friday on that gorgeous Criterion Blu-ray. Such a cool movie.
Awesome collection!
Wow! You have an amazing collection of horror sci fi & fantasy, & great recommendations as well.
Can’t wait to see the rest of your collection.
You got an awesome collection Pete. Thanks so much for showing us!
Pete, you have an awesome collection. Thank you for giving us a tour.

Wow, you have 'The Chronicles of Narnia' movies! Those were part of my childhood.
Wow Pete you gotta be proud of that killer collection too! And I thought I had a huge collection of quality movies especially horror! You still got me beat on cds of course, but I see alot of my collection (over 3 thousand) in your collection.
I wonder if we'll ever see Chris Alo's extensive collection in such an organized manner? 🤣
Your movie collection looks just like mine, you have all the good stuff.

Poltergeist is so fantastic to this day. Tobe Hooper was also responsible for the late 70s Salem's Lot TV miniseries which is also a classic.
I don't watch horrors these days but remember as a kid being terrified of the poltergeist, the tv scene.

No Howling 2? As a teen I loved the music video at the end.
Other than Sybil Danning, a terrible film.
Hey pete do you like the deathwish/dirty harry movies? I don't think I saw them in your collection.
Yep…I have those.

Awesome Pete. Did you ever notice that when you updated to formats, there are different edits/versions? Meaning, you have to keep both.
Rarely actually
Great collection but I didn't see "The Keep" there. I always considered that a great Horror movie.
It is…when it gets a blu ray release I will certainly pick it up.
@@seaoftranquilityprog I think a lot of people have been waiting for that Blu ray. I knew you couldn't have missed that one. Best!
Don't get me wrong its a class collection ach if its all falling down, maybe ya need less stuff... Only saying. 😅
A little surprised I didn’t see Bubba Ho-Tep, a great low budget horror/comedy from 2002.
Not much of a fan. I have it on DVD
Hey Pete! Awesome collection. Do you own The Warriors?
No. I had it on VHS way back, but never purchased on disc.
C.H.U.D. stands for Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwellers. Or does it? 👁

@@JIF882 He's so good in Psycho 3.
The Living Dead at Manchester Morgue is Italian, but set in the kind of imaginary England that makes Brits watching it go: Where the hell..?
Spanish director too.
Where are The Beyond and Demons ?
I should have waited till the end .
No Jodorowsky. You're missing a lot.
I saw Santa Sangre years ago...didn't much care for it.
@@seaoftranquilityprog Check El Topo Or Holy Mountain. Masterpieces.
Does your wife share in the same genre of movies?
Nope.
25 Top 6 Album Run (Part 4) is hidden
How can it be hidden if I haven't recorded it yet?
@Sea of Tranquility that's weird cause in the Playlist are 4 videos
Nope, only 3
😃👍
