This marks the first major airshow since the 2021 debut in Dubai where Boeing will not showcase the 777X.
Boeing has begun moving engineers from the X-66A aircraft, which it has been developing jointly with NASA, to stabilize its commercial aircraft programs, including the to-be-certified 737 MAX 7, 737 MAX 10, and 777X, including the 777-9 and 777-8F.

Two new business class seats
Qatar Airways has introduced the next generation of its business class product, at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024. Dubbed the ‘Qsuite Next Gen’, enhancements include fully customisable Quad Suites; Companion Suites in window aisles; 4K OLED manoeuvrable in-flight entertainment (IFE) screens; along with increased space and privacy in each suite.
The redesigned Quad Suite is now equipped with movable 4K OLED Panasonic Astrova IFE screens - a first for any airline in the world. The screens can be repositioned to the side to create the largest social and productivity space in the sky for up to four passengers in the Quad Suite, and up to two passengers in the Companion Suite. There’s also a new lockable storage draw which requires a digital pin-code to unlock.
Turkish Airlines also revealed its new business class seat at the prestigious Farnborough International Airshow. This new offering aims to strengthen the carrier's luxury positioning in the region, amid intense competition from high-end rivals.

The airline has also announced that it will provide free Wi-Fi to all passengers by the end of 2025, and all of these features will start with its new Airbus A350s on order.
