I dont want to disappoint you but according to dna test gagauz are not turkish but balkan most closely related to romanians, slavs, greeks and bulgarians. They are turkified by language only . Google it. Gagauz belong to Y-DNA haplogroups I2a (23.6%)=romanian, R1a (19.1%)=slav, G (13.5%)=caucasus, R1b (12.4%)=western european, E1b1b1a1 (11.1%)=greek, J2 (5.6%)=anatolian/middle eastern and Haplogroup N (2.2%)=asian. Finally, the phylogenetic analysis of Y-DNA situates Gagauz most proximal to Bulgarians, Macedonians, Romanians, Serbs and other Balkan populations, resulting in a high genetic distance from the Turkish people and other Turkic peoples.[39] The analyses showed that Gagauz belong to the Balkan populations, suggesting that the Gagauz language represents a case of language replacement in southeastern Europe.[40] According to a more detailed autosomal analysis of thousands of SNPs, not just of the sex chromosome, Gagauz are most proximal to ethnic Macedonians, followed by Greek Macedonians apart from Thessaloniki, and others such as Bulgarians, Romanians and Montenegrenins

My sister lives in Istanbul but has invested in our old village of origin in Trakya. Where she and her husband (retired now) makes wines with different fruits. The red wines are really amazing whenever I visit I cant get enough of it. It must be the climate similar in Trakya (Thrace). It's a shame the young disappear and work in other countries instead of making something of their excellent fertile land. I'm surprised how close the people are to what I see in our villages in Turkey. These ladies look so much like our village ladies. Pickling cucumbers and conserving tomatoes is pretty much a common thing our people do too. Great video Davud what an excellent channel you've created.

All the countries that were in the communist regime of the Soviet Union have remained very poor, many young people have left their countries for a better life and only the ederly have remained there, this also happens in the Western Balkans and in Albania, where I also live
It is same everywhere now. As education & technology advances younger generation is migrating to cities leaving elderly people in villages & moreover they have become emotionless.
