Davud, that elderly man was deaf. He showed you a picture of his son, who passed away young. Now, he is all alone... 😔 In the end he wished you all the best and God bless you! 🙏
He doesn’t have a heart. He can’t even comment. The only thing I don’t like about him is he’s cold. I guess Azerbaijan lost the warmth being under the heartless ussr mentality for so long. Robotic and cold.
@@stefanramanayake7269 he admitted he did in the video. And also imagine he didn’t . Once this comment told him , he did nothing but leave a like. Ungreatful little 💩
The old man is deaf. He was trying to say that to you and tried to ask you to write for him so he can understand you. The prices for the baskets you showed him were 5 and 8 lei so you were really generous. People are usually much more thankful when you give them so much money (the money you gave him will help him tons), but I think he didn't really realize or was so focused to tell you about his tragedy. As you could tell, in the pictures is his family. His wife and his kid both died and he told you he is alone for 7 years and instantly burst into tears. I think he is very lonely so, as strange as it feels to say it: I think your company was more important to him than the money. At the end he got a bit frustrated as you could see that he cannot grasp from your lips what country are you from and that you don't have anything to write it on. However, he blessed you. Being unable to communicate is painful too 😢 Also, a bit more info about language. Romanian has a bit of politeness words. 'salut' is usually used to greet men, 'bună is usually used to greet women, and both are casual. If you meet an older man or woman you could consider 'bună dimineața/ziua/seara' - good morning/day/evening. Also for older women: 'sărut mâna' - literally meaning kissing your hand. But, don't bother that much about it and enjoy your stay. When you greeted an older lady with 'salut' - even though is uncommon, she greeted you back anyways (in an older video). I enjoy your videos and thank you for visiting Romania. Hopefully you liked it so far.

Because Romania is charming and the people are genuine, they don’t put on a mask for tourists with a fake smile like a dummy. If they are happy they smile, if they are tired they keep a straight face and if they are sad they will cry in front of you like that old man… they will not pretend to be something else than they are: human. They don’t care what religion you are or from what country, they will greet/treat every stranger the same - like a friend or like a neighbour.

The old man you found in the yard working on the baskets couldn't hear, that's why it was hard for him to understand what you were saying. I understood that the big basket was 80 lei and the smallest said 50 lei. That's why they show you 20 lei, the rest. Thank you once again for making the elderly you met a little happier!

cum zice inca cineva, batranul a zis 80 nu 8, dar merita mai ales unui asemenea om.
