You do understand the s7 edge is rendering 2560x1440 and the p9 is only rendering 1920x1080 so there's no competition.

a great video, i love Huawei it's improving very well espesially in it's emui it became more beautiful in the p9 it's better than the Mate 8 also the Kirin 955 is slightly better, but i am waiting for the Mate 9 if the rumors are right i will never change the Mate 9

S7 super amoled screen looks 10 times better than the poor quality of P9 1080p screen and not even amoled.
S7 is on 1440x2560 screen resolution, while P9 can only be in 1080x1920 and not even amoled, so ofcourse it will be faster but bad quality compared to S7!!!

hey on huawei phones there is a function called ''knock knock'' u just have to double tap the screen when it is off and it turns the screen on......hey u should try it in ur videos ......also we write C on screen when It is off and it opens up camera......

You know what makes a great test for speed? Pokemon Evolutions. Try evolving a pidgey on two different phones at the same time, haha! See which one runs the entire animation faster.

Don't do reviews if you are going to be biased. Every time S7 loaded faster, you said "Loaded up faster" or "Loaded way faster" and literally every time P9 was faster you said a little faster. The part that bothered me the most was 6:25. You even cut the video I just muted the video from that point because the idea of making the video as you are is really good, but as I said, don't put biased commentary over it.

In battery life the S7 destroys the P9 though, which makes sense given the size of the battery. If I got a P9 cheap enough i guess it would make sense to get over the S7.. hmm tempted just not sure i like the no buttons thing..

1 : i don't like the no bottons thing

Is it me or the Huawei p9 looks like it has and AMOLED display? Look at the colors in Subway surfer and smash it. So vivid
somehow I am not feeling these use-both-my-hands-to-try-and-tap-two-icons-at-the-same-time tests. the differences in launch times are so slight that it may well be within error margin where you just did not touch the displays at the same time.
that is how I see it.
a game rendering assets for 1440p and for 1080p will not perform the same in those 2 cases.

S7 has only a bit unsignificant delay sometimes, but it compensates with the camera, which is superior, it compensates with the colors and compensates with more options. S7 edge is more for people who like it fancy and a bit bigger, nice edge and such, but for those who just prefer the less fancy version, but same performance, then S7 should do great. P9 is good too, a bit cheaper, nice design too, but for people who prefers more, then it's S7 for them, for people who prefer less and don't care much about colors and camera and such, then P9 should do great.

However,in daily usage Kirins are really optimized and can compete without issues.
I'd still go with S7 which is overall way superior to p9

I know my comment will be considered outdated and late for this period, but my opinion is that the S7 Edge has a higher resolution (QHD) than Huawei P9 (FullHD). If the resolutions were the same, the S7 Edge would have had a great chance of winning this test
Samsung also has a liquid CPU cooling system, so Huawei would overheat faster than Samsung.

The fingerprint thing isn't going to make a difference, look how you had to turn the phone around to see where the sensor was before being able to hit it accurately first time, with the S7 you just click and hold...

Browser comparison doesn't really work like that. You can't just open a site and decide which one is faster if X/Y opens faster.
There are WAY more better ways to compare the browsers on devices, try HTML5 tests etc.
Also opening settings/clock doesn't mean shit.. One more thing, take the Samsung Hat off for awhile when making these videos.
And, s7e has 4 g ram```````````````

Huawei P9 proven benchmark score is not a right comparison, a lower score device can be as fast as or even faster than a higher score device.
Antutu Benchmarks suck. Check out Andrianisen's Benchmarks comparison of Huawei P9 (3GB RAM) vs Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. The P9 scores more on the geekbench 3 app

Why would anyone buy Huawei? It literally brings nothing to the competition table apart from "big numbers". But that's about it. Every other phone has something that instantly tells you that it's exactly that phone but this.. It's just a generic rectangle inspired by other phones with nothing that would differ it from the grey mass of smartphones that we already have. What comes to the mind when you think of samsung? Bright, saturated screen colours, round edges, all the gimmicks, ect. Htc? Sense UI, boomsound, build of the phone itself. Iphone? Well, it's an Iphone. But this? Name one good feature it has apart that it was made just to run and not die from usage. It even has a stock android not because it's what people prefer but it would die out if it had to handle a bit more than now cause of crappy optimization, barely keeping up with a phone with a bigger screen which is full of bloatware and that has a shitwiz.
