I worked in Disneyland the summer of 1998 when they opened the Rocket Rods and I worked guest control some of the days "mostly telling people the attraction was down" -- the track is shot. I would LOVE to see peoplemover come back - that would be a HUGE love letter to Disneyland

The last time I was at Disneyland was in 1998, I rode Rocket Rods❕🤮 The Peoplemover, & Skyway were my top favorites. I was there on the Skyway's last day of operation in 1994. Also, DCA was under construction. I personally boycotted Disneyland until the Peoplemover comes back. I got annual passes to Knott's Berry Farm, & Magic Mountain.

Great update video Katie and Spencer! You guys are correct about lots of empty spaces in Tomorrowland. It needs a refurbishment and I would love to see Peoplemover return as part of it. Thank you for bringing me along as always! As a huge Disney fan dealing with anxiety everyday, you continue to impress me with your hangout/update videos. They keep me close to the Disney magic and I can't get enough of it.

It is probably busier Monday thru Thursday because of the CA resident 3 day ticket 1 park option available….at $187

I think the 3 day so cal pass is having a lot to do with the increase of crowds during the week. Weekend we’re decently higher and locals are more likely to go during the week especially with no magic key reservations open.

My wife and I rode in the lillybelle caboose about 10 years ago we had to ask at the main street depot right when the park opened and it didn't cost extra at the time

I wonder if they have enough space in Tomorrowland to demo some buildings and add a new attraction? Like the tron coaster in WDW. I'll need to look at my maps again.

Why does Disney rope off areas directing people to only go one way here and there why not just leave it open and let the crowd go….just SO packed after fireworks

Love your videos. So amazing that Disneyland pricing has changed behavior - that’s was the goal. I just bought a Saturday one day ticket and it was $230 with park hopper for one person. It’s not cheap! I hope it’s not too crowded.

Dream key holder here, and last Saturday was awesome. Short lines, I did like 13 rides and I wasn’t there all day.

@7:38 I'm confused. How was that map there from before New Orleans Square opened if it has ToonTown on it? Obviously it's been updated to add ToonTown, but they didn't "fix" it to NOS at that time? Weird.

Saturdays are not as busy as expected because Believe Key holders are blocked out on Saturdays during the summer. I think Sundays have been busier because all of the Believe Key holders go that day.

I have 1 question If you move Astro orbiter back to its original location and bring back Peoplemover where would you put the queue lines for those 2 rides with the crowds that Disneyland has been seeing? I get and understand what you are talking about. Amazing merch. The nighttime shows the projections all the projections look so much brighter.

Launch Bay should be turn back into the Carousel of Progress because I think it’s a great attraction also you can spend almost 30 minutes inside the building enjoying the show & air conditioning while beating the heat

I have to wonder if the crowds will be like that come January or February. For those of us who come from out of state, I want to come during a slow crowd time. If I have to pay extra for a weekend day, so be it. Is the 3-day pass a one time only? Or is it something that they will continue to do?

Love Big Thunder, been a long time since i rode that ride. Was waiting for your "best remove em" saying you used to always say when you rode it in the past.
I have a theory on why the weekends are less crowded than weekdays. I think it’s not so much the price point, but let’s face it. The advice that weekdays are kess crowded has been the number one advice for decades. The price point can be a factor, of course, but that wasn’t the reason I avoided weekends like the plague. Lol I just think it has been so engrained in our brains that weekdays meant shorter lines, and it used to be true. Naturally the crowds now go on weekdatpys, thinking that will be true, but so many people are doing that now, that many more people skip the weekends, thinking they’re avoiding the crowds.
I find it weird that their doing all that blocking for the fantasmic performer areas when before covid they didn’t do that and them just leaving all that up during the day is bad show
